American rapper Meek Mill arrived in Accra on Wednesday, December 28, ahead of his performance at the 2022 Afro Nation Ghana festival. The rapper, known in private life as Robert Rihmeek Williams, seems to be enjoying life in Accra like he has been staying here for a long time.

A few hours upon his arrival, the 35-year-old rapper has been spotted going on a biking expedition on the streets of Accra.

While riding with the American rapper, the young lady could be visibly seen trying to hide her face from the camera. Apart from covering her head with a scarf, the lady was clinging to Meek Mill's back and swerved the camera in a bid to stop it from fully capturing her face. Watch video below

Internationally recognized singer, Wizkid Balogun, announces free show performance while clarifying his statement about having a final show in Lagos in 2022.

It would be recalled that the singer once made the announcement that his December show in Lagos would be his last.

During his concert on Christmas Eve, Wizkid eased the tension in the air by stating his actual intention.

According to Wizzy, he meant it in a good way and because of his love for Lagos fans, he intends to give them a free show henceforth.

In his words, “I have to start finishing my statements cos dem dey misquote me. What I really meant was, with the kind of love you all show me; it is very unfair to do shows around the world and come back to make you guys pay to wacth me. I wanna make a promise tonight; this will be the last time you will pay to see me.”

Superstar Afrobeat singer, Davido Adeleke, and his wife, Chioma Rowland, are spotted in the company of family ahead of the Christmas celebration.

This comes after the singer made his first show appearance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup closing event after weeks of mourning the loss of his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke Jnr.

A video making rounds on social media captured the singer with Chioma amidst the company of her inlaws in preparing for Christmas.

Davido who is known to be fond of children was spotted having a playtime with one of his nephews, while his wife chatted with another family member.

The video, however, stirred emotional reactions from fans who expressed heartfelt concern for the couple.

“Oh Ify would have been jumping everywhere full of excitement. Devil no like good thing. Jesus complete their joy and restore all they have lost,” a social media user wrote.

Another added, “Davido’s natural love for kids show everywhere he goes as long as kids are around. ��.”

Four revellers are fighting for their lives after crush at Brixton's O2 Academy when 'more than 1,000 fans tried to force their way into Nigerian singer Asake's gig without tickets'

Four people were left fighting for their lives after a concert descended into chaos last night, as fans tried to force their way into the venue without tickets resulting in a suspected crush.

Police were called to the Brixton O2 Academy at 9.35pm on Thursday following reports that a large number of people were attempting to force entry to a concert without tickets.

When officers arrived outside the scene, where Afrobeats singer Asake was due to play, they found a number of people with 'injuries believed to have been caused by crushing'.

No arrests have taken place, detectives from Specialist Crime have launched an urgent investigation and cordons remain in place at the O2 Academy.

Fans were filmed clashing with police outside Brixton's O2 Academy - with one being thrown down stairs and another placed in a headlock after striking an officer in the face.

At least four have been left in a critical condition after suffering 'crushing injuries', following what appeared to be a stampede by non-ticket holders to enter Nigerian singer Asake's show, which was cancelled.

In footage shared online, dozens of people could be seen barging their way into the narrow entry doors as one reveller is heard saying: 'This is so dangerous.'

In another clip, hundreds of people are seen packed like sardines in an alleyway adjacent to the venue.

Met Police gold commander Ade Adelekan described the incident as 'extremely distressing' and urged any witnesses who are yet to speak with police to get in contact.

Mr Adelekan added: 'I am aware of video being shared on social media. I would ask people to be sensible about what they share, and not to post material that will be upsetting to those affected by this incident.

'Where force has been used by police officers, those officers know they have to be accountable for their actions. The Met's Directorate of Professional Standards will view all material, including Body Worn Video footage from the officers at the scene.

'In relation to a clip being widely shared, I can confirm that no police dogs were deployed to the location.'
