The point here is the NBC should be allowed to do thier constitutional job. Supreme Court verdict can be reviewed but that is left to IMO state to decide based on the outcome of the boundary demarcation. chrisxxx: This is stalled already. You would have advised Imo State to inform the Court. But Imo went to court all through and now NBC can't do otherwise. You don't follow your opponent to where he has advantage. However the oil well is Rivers. |

So it is the judges that cannot be bribed? Lol. I think the boundary commission should be allowed to do thier job. I am now feeling Wike might have bought the judgement because the boundary commission should have done its job first before any judgement can be paasset. chrisxxx: The position of NBC clearly shows their biased and Wike took the right decision going to supreme court. NBC can't do otherwise. How many Rivers people work there? This is not a matter of Rivers State and Imo but the whole South East. Any South East person in B NBC is biased against Rivers State. Wike understands this Adamu may not as someone outside the zone. Supreme Court Judges are not stupid and NBC can't do otherwise. Imo was in same court with Rivers State. The only thing NBC can do is to approach the supreme court for their verdict and harmonize their job NBC action of going ahead with their demarcation is like INEC saying they will continue with an electoral process when supreme court has cancelled an election or declared someone the winner |

It is an insult to put Russia and agreement in the same sentence. Russia was the first to break the Budapest agreement with Ukraine, which made Ukraine to start seeking NATO membership. Russia makes it easy for it's neighbors to seek NATO membership by bullying them. Do you know Russia illegally occupy lands in Ukraine, Georgia, Finland and Moldova to name a few. This is why NATO membership is attractive. I can educate more n more but I need time to find cash. 4ckyou: there was an agreement that NATO will not expand to any neighboring country close to Russia, they broke the agreement so Russia have the right to attack. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Pope Francis Says NATO Started The War In Ukraine By "Barking At Putin's Door" by Masterito(m): 9:39am On May 04, 2022 |
The pope was quoted out of context. This is another Russian propaganda. WriterNig: https://www.chinadailyhk.com/attachments/image/65/164/146/476691_180246/476691_180246_800_auto_jpg.jpg
Since the beginning of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Pope Francis has floated the idea that he wants to take a trip to Kyiv to try to broker a ceasefire. But now he says he would prefer to go to Moscow to try to talk some sense into Vladimir Putin, who he has not outwardly condemned in the now nearly three-month-old war and only did so lightly in a lengthy interview with an Italian newspaper.
“I feel that before going to Kyiv, I must go to Moscow,” he told Corriere Della Sera in an interview that ran Tuesday. But the meeting would not exactly be to condemn Putin, based on what he told the paper. He said that the real “scandal” of Putin’s war is “NATO barking at Russia’s door,” which he said caused the Kremlin to “react badly and unleash the conflict.”
Never mind that the 85-year-old pontiff is unable to walk after tearing a ligament in his knee (for which he says he will soon have surgery), or that Putin won’t even answer his calls. Francis repeated comments he has made in general audiences and in other interviews that the war is nothing more than a giant opportunity for a “trade in arms” and that it is still ongoing because of the constant shuttling of weapons to Ukraine. He has spoken twice by phone to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, but mostly to urge him not to fight back. He also went to the Russian embassy to the Holy See days after the invasion began to “register his concerns” about what was happening.

“I don’t know how to answer - I’m too far a way - the question of whether it is right to supply the Ukrainians,” he told the paper. “The clear thing is that weapons are being tested there. The Russians now know that tanks are of little use and are thinking of other things. This is why wars are waged: to test the weapons we have produced. Few people are fighting this trade, but more should be done.”
Whether the Italian journalists didn’t ask or whether he didn’t answer there was no mention about what would happen if Ukrainians were not fiercely fighting back, whether it would mean a full annexation of the entire country, millions of deaths, or empowering an already insatiably power-hungry Putin.
Francis veered toward conspiracy theory as he blamed the international community for instigating the war.
“You cannot think that a free state can make war on another free state,” he said. “In Ukraine, it seems that it was others who created the conflict. I am pessimistic but we must do everything possible to stop the war.”
The pope then said that in a state visit to Rome by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, he was told “the Russians have a plan, that everything will end on May 9” without giving any further explanation. May 9 is the day Russia celebrates its liberation and the end of World War II.

The best solution is peace, Yes but under which conditions? Lol. I don't need to argue further with ignorant ones like you. fairheart: When a supposedly wise person says others who have been realistic are not, then he must question his wisdom. If you understand international relations and the rules of war, you'd see that the dude you attacked is actually telling things as they are.
Russia never wanted to attack Ukraine; all the countries involved and supplying weapons never really wanted to. Misinterpretation of situations and context each country evaluates the situations bordering the issues that led to this conflict caused it. The reality is, with more weapons in Ukraine, there will be more casualties, more destruction, and more pain.
The guy you insulted was telling the truth: the best solution is peace, which more weapons from Germany are not making possible. Ask yourself what it'd take to make Ukraine a neutral state? Nothing! In fact, analysis shows it is the best thing for Ukraine because being neutral will let it flourish, and have a relationship with the EU, Russia, and the U.S. This will also guarantee its peace. Unfortunately, when great power nations fight, it is the countries in the middle that suffers. That is Ukraine! The more weapon they receive, the more Russia will increase its offensive!
The idea is that Russia is willing to lose, but the loss will not stop it. As more weapon comes in from the West, Russia is also bringing out advanced weapons. It is terrible! Russia is willing to lose, but not Ukraine! That is why more weapon is not good.
If you check Putin's attitude since he became a president, once he said something, he follows through. You should apologize to that guy; he understands things better than you!
To corroborates what he said, peace is the solution. |
