Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was neither indicted nor convicted of drug trafficking or anything else in the Unired States of America or anywhere else.

This is a FACT and it is the BOTTOM LINE.

Those that say otherwise and have labelled him a drug baron due to an out of court settlement and repatriation of funds that were in his account in the U.S. 30 years ago are ignorant and misinformed.

They have no idea of how the American justice system works and I would urge them to go and find out.

If Asiwaju was a drug baron and if he was wanted in America I doubt the U.S. Ambassador would have visited his campaign office a few weeks ago to wish him well.

If he was a drug baron that is wanted in America I doubt that he would have avoided extradition all these years considering the power, hatred, fury and venom of his numerous enemies and many detractors.

If he was a drug baron he would not be the leading contender for the presidential election and the man to beat next year.

The opposition is desperate and are doing all they can to discredit him before February next year.

They started with the Muslim/Muslim ticket issue, it lost steam and failed and now they have resorted to this and revisited an issue that was rested,settled and clarified by the American Embassy in Nigeria itself in 2003.

Despite their desperation these dirty tactics, mudslinging and campaign of calumny against a profoundly good man that has done so much for our county will not work.

The Jagaban is firmly on course and he SHALL, by God's grace and the will of the Nigerian people, be elected President of our beloved country next year.

Femi Fani-Kayode, the director of media and.publicity of the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Organisation (PDPPCO),.has berated Kashim Shettima, governor of.Borno state, for allegedly ignoring security reports and the counsel of the federal government against holding the 2014 May/ June West African Examination Council (WAEC) at Chibok.

Fani-Kayode stated that “the abducted Chibok schoolgirls would have been saved the ordeal to which they have been subjected these past.329 days had the governor taken the advice.and acted in accordance with the security reports that the town was not safe for the
examinations.”

He told Shettima to be ready for investigation.and prosecution after leaving office if found.complicit in the circumstances that led to the abduction of the girls.

In a statement issued on Monday in Abuja by Sufuyan Ojeifo, his special assistant on media, in response to Shettima’s “attack” on Fani- Kayode over his comment on the fate of the Chibok girls the PDPPCO spokesman was quoted to have said: “Shettima will not be.governor forever and when he is no longer in office, his role in the Chibok affair would be investigated and, if found wanting, he would be prosecuted”.


He accused the governor of reflecting the thinking of his party “over the whole mess that his insensitivity allowed to happen.”
“The governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima is the most irresponsible, insensitive and callous governor in Nigeria. He is a wicked man whose mindset reflects the thinking of his party, All Progressives Congress (APC). He, more than anybody else, is responsible for the abduction of the Chibok girls.”

“And he should bear full responsibility for it..The man should shut up and bow his head in shame because it was due to his irresponsibility as the chief security officer of Borno state that those little girls in Chibok were abducted, raped, sold into slavery and subjected to terror.

“The circumstances that led to the abduction of.the innocent girls, who were writing their examination in an environment that was everything but secure, underscored the governor’s negligence.

“The governor must give account to God and to the Nigerian people for what he has done to those girls. We are accusing him of being responsible for the abduction of the Chibok girls because he was warned by the federal government and by the West African Examination Council (WAEC) not to allow the examination take place in Chibok.

“He ignored the warning and promised to.guarantee security for those girls. When time came, the governor did not even deploy one policeman, let alone adequate security. He betrayed the girls; he set them up; he opened the door for them to be abducted by the Boko Haram and instead of asking for forgiveness and repenting of his wicked ways, he is talking nonsense.

“In any other country, this man would have
been arrested and prosecuted for collaborating
with Boko Haram. But here, in Nigeria, instead
of him showing remorse, he went all over the
world attacking the president and the federal
government over the Chibok affair. Those he
was speaking to did not know that he, more
than anybody else, was responsible for the
abduction of those girls.”

Truck drivers blocked the Port Harcourt- Aba express way, saying that they will not leave the road until federal government intervenes over the poor state of the road.
For the past four days, truck drivers blocked the road in protest.
Yet Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and Governor Wike ignored the drivers and the blocked expressway and travelled to Benue state, enjoying themselves.
They do not care that fire is eating up home.
If you ask them, they say it is a federal road.
What baffles me is that Ikpeazu does not understand that the fact that the Port Harcourt- Aba expressway is that bad, is affecting commerce in Aba and affecting the revenue that ought to accrue to Abia State.
Well, thank God for Engineer Enyinnaya Nwafor,the YPP candidate for the office of Governor Abia State.
The young man came there, saw the deplorable state of the road, and promised to do work on the road, to make the road passable and driveable.
The drivers trusted him and made way.
So few hours after the promise, you can see trucks and earth moving vehicles sent by Eng. Nana Nwafor to that expressway, to solve the problem and save the bad day.
This is not the first time Nana of the YPP is coming to save the day, he did it last year when tanker drivers in Abia state went on strike due to the poor state of Osisioma-Ekeakpara Road. Nana stepped in and told them that under the YPP govt if Abia State, there would be no discrimination between Federal Road and state road abd that l roads in the state shall be given equal attention, and he did some work on the road which made the road to be in a better condition and the tanker drivers had to call off their strike.
Let me tell you:
I know Enyinnaya Nwafor.
If he becomes to Governor of Abia state, he shall construct more flyovers than Dave Umahi of Ebonyi state.
He shall do more more roads, more quality roads.
I do not know all the roads he did in Abia state but I know that the road leading from Obikabia junction to Isialangwa was done by his company, and that road is strong.
May God show us mercy and Nana happen to Abia state
