Wike is no longer the governor, Fubara as the sitting governor has higher chances of delivering Rivers to APC than Wike. Most of the APC governors are already behind Fubara. Fubara is ready to work for Tinubu and the party, but Wike pushing this fight further is no longer for the interest of the president & party, but for his personal interest. The party's interest overrides Wike interest. If APC don't need Fubara, they wouldn't have accepted his membership in the first place.
