HealthCovid-19: The Only Way Out Of This Pandemic by MasterMindX1(op): 8:32pm On Apr 18, 2020
We are all aware that the World is dealing with a pandemic now that has caused so many Countries of the world to Lockdown.
COVID-19: THE ONLY WAY OUT OF THIS PANDEMIC
The Corona virus (COVID-19) which started late last year 2019 in the Wuhan city,China, has spread to so many Countries with Thousands of lives lost.

Scientists are trying their very best working in the Laboratory day and night trying to produce the Vaccine for the cure of this disease before it wipe out the entire human race.

Some said it's another phase of pandemic that happen to human every 100yrs looking back at past similar events e.g The Spanish flu of 1918 ,
lasting from January 1918 to December 1920, it infected 500 million people – about a quarter of the world's population at the time. The death toll is estimated to have been anywhere from 17 million to 50 million death, and possibly as high as 100 million, making it one of the deadliest pandemics in human history.
We also have the cholera pandemic.Whatsoever it is, there has to be a way out.

Below are ways that can help us out of this Pandemic.

1. Be Well Informed:

Most of us don't know how deadly this virus is , many still don't believe this virus exist despite the fact that thousands of people are dieing world wide , hundreds , thousands of people are dieing.

We all should know it is for real, the world Economy is falling , many countries are shut down , this virus kills and it is rapid , it is deadly , so it's better we take on the preventive measures and Look Up To God because that is the only cure we've got now.

2. Staying safe:

The first way out is to stay safe by getting our selves Quarantined because we don't know who has the virus.
Cover your nose and do according to what the Health Ministry required of us to do. Avoid overcrowded public places. Washing our hands frequently and avoid touching our face. Remember that " Your life is in your hands".

3.
When you notice any symptoms of the covid-19, don't keep it to yourself and don't go out transmitting the virus ,stay indoors and call the nearest Health center so they can isolate and treat you.

4. Let's acknowledge God:

At this juncture, all hope is on God .
There is no vaccines that we've got or pills we can take.
Only God can save and only he knows the way out of this Pandemic , we should all stay indoors and Pray To God.

Lots of things will be in your mind , likewise we've have people shouting out on the survival of the people.

"What about hunger , if we stay indoors" ,
yeah , but should we all go out and contract this virus and the Nation should perish ?

We're just dramatic , though the government should try their best to keep this normal. No matter how hard it is there are ways we can take to survive when everything is hard.

Don't make Jokes and Memes with this PANDEMIC because it's REAL and the pains are TERRIBLE.

#STAY SAFE #Be Strong
#TogetherWeOvercome

Education7 Mistakes WAEC 2020 Candidates Should Avoid by MasterMindX1(op): 8:18pm On Apr 18, 2020
7 Mistakes WAEC 2020 Candidates Should Avoid
Mistakes happen sometimes at a point in anything we carry out and this my article is for WAEC 2020 candidates who are preparing to sit for their exams . These simple might cause big problems e.g failure in examination , not securing Admission.

1. O'level Course subjects combination

2. Mistakes In Student Data

3. Failure In Preparation.

4. Studying Wong Syllabus

5. Exam Time Management

6. Bad Handwriting

7. Mode Of Answering Questions

1. O'level Course subjects combination: A huge amount of students do make this mistake every year due to non proper guidance, students should first make sure they selected their five relevant subjects correctly and then other subject , imagine a science student choose Financial accounting that sounds stupid isn't it ? Good , so avoid it.

2. Mistakes In Student Data : This mistake should be totally avoided this, it is the most silly mistake candidates make in the course of their registration, e.g a wrong age

wrong names , Some put their surname as first names.

3. Failure In Preparation : Failure to prepare is said to be the preparation to fail, we know it still many won't avoid it , it is very advisable for Students to prepare hard and prepare earlier for the examination , don't start reading few days to the examination , that's ba sign of failure .

4. Studying Wong Syllabus : Get the right syllabus , get the past questions , preparebyour textbooks and prepare for the battle .

5. Exam Time Management : This is very essential , learn to manage and use your teacher wisely , don't waste time on things you don't know , hunt those you know , clear them properly and then if you've enough to you can set back and look carefully on what you don't seem to be sure of.

6. Bad Handwriting : Sadly , bad handwriting cause many problem , some examiners don't have time to stress on what gives them problem and will end up failing the candidate , some candidates will realise despite their effort , they still fail ... So it is better to brush up your handwriting and make it clear for examiners to go through.

7 . Mode Of Answering Questions: In WAEC EXAMINATION learn to answer questions in their appropriate places , one page for one question solution.

Bonus :
8. Having Issue With Invigilators: Avoid having issues with invigilators , you all understand this , many are ready to fail you without looking back.

EducationWe Conducted Exams For 19 States On Credit –NECO by MasterMindX1(op): 5:15am On Feb 14, 2020
The National Examination Council has said it conducted examinations for candidates in 19 states on credit.

The examination body revealed this when its officials appeared before the House of Representatives Committee on Finance in Abuja on Wednesday. The Director of Finance and Administration, NECO, Dr Jacob Ekele, said Zamfara State topped the list of debtors with over N1bn.

He said, “As of today about 19 states owe NECO. The exams were conducted for them on credit, especially Zamfara State. It has the highest (debt). Kogi is not paying for its candidates, the candidates are paying for themselves. But some of these states, the governments pay for them, unlike Kogi that doesn’t pay N1 for anybody.”

The chairman of the committee, Mr James Faleke, said the probe into NECO’s finances would be extended from 2014 to 2011.

The panel asked NECO to provide all relevant documents to show its income, expenditure and remittances from 2011 to 2019.

Faleke said the report of the Office of the Auditor General of the Federation suggested the council should remit N6bn to the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the Federal Government.

The committee demanded NECO’s financial statements, the number of enrollees and the money paid for exams since 2011.

Meanwhile, the House of Representatives has urged the Federal Government to rehabilitate the road linking Mushin to Isolo in Lagos. The house ordered that the project should be included in the 2021 Appropriation Bill. The call followed the unanimous adoption of a motion titled ‘Need to Complete the Isolo-Ejigbo (NNPC Depot)/Mushin Dual Carriage Road’ moved by Ganiyu Johnson at plenary on Wednesday.

The House mandated the Committee on Works to liaise with the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing “to make provision for the dualisation of Mushin road from Oke Afa to Apapa-Oshodi Expressway in the 2021 budget estimates.”

EducationTwo Arrested For Extorting JAMB Candidates by MasterMindX1(op): 6:38pm On Feb 01, 2020
The Taraba Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has arrested two suspects for allegedly defrauding students at an illegal Joint Admission and Matriculations Board registration centre.

The Taraba Commandant of NSCDC, Alhaji Aliyu Ndanusa, disclosed this to newsmen at the corps’ headquarters in on Saturday.

According to him, the government approved price for JAMB registration was N4,000 while the two suspects were charging students N4,200 in contravention of the directives.

Ndanusa said that the NSCDC would not sit back to allow fraudulent persons to defraud the unsuspecting members of the public.

He said the two were arrested following an outcry by JAMB officials in the state over the activities of unauthorised persons defrauding students.

“Operatives of the NSCDC have been recently trained at a workshop for the purpose of monitoring the registration centres to ensure that they comply with the FG’s directives of N4,000 registration fees for JAMB.

“Anybody who adds any amount to this has already contravened the directives and will be made to face the wrath of the law,” he said.

Ndanusa said the suspects would be charged to court immediately after investigation.

Education10 Ways To Pass Jamb And Waec As A Science Student by MasterMindX1(op): 10:05pm On Jan 23, 2020
As a science student you must know the bedrock and key things required for you to pass the mandatory exams established in our country. Bringing to you the 10 ways to pass JAMB and WAEC as a science student.

A science student you ought to have the fire in you to pass and eliminate every obstacle staring at your progress to pass all exams set across for you in your journey to into your university and career.

Below are the 10 ways to pass jamb and WAEC as a science student
1.) Your desire:When we say desire, what does it mean your will to take on any tedious measures to get your desired result just like how computer turns data into information. You cannot wake up and think you will have success in your endeavors without the need and wanting to read. A great man said "the moment you take decisions it shapes your destiny" so when you bend this your will and desires for long term runs and not short term fixes you have already accomplished quarter of your task at hand.

2.)Proper coaching/teaching: sometimes students get it wrong when they think their teacher knows it all your teacher or coach only brushes you through you have to go and analyze and store this information brought no matter the number of teaching and knowledge given to you if you don't decide to use this you will never truly gain what you desire.

3.) Proper textbook: it is painful that most student fail to understand past questions and key points are just patches these aren't going to help you pass exams unless you get well illustrated textbooks with broad examples

Below are some textbook which can help you defeat the obstacles in your success of passing your exams whether be it waec or jamb.

#) physics

New school physics make sure you do all exercises and meditate on how to attempt questions
comprehensive physics this will help you on the written or definitions of certain terms and help you in summaries.
principle physics my favourite very detailed.

If you can't get them all just get one and you journey towards success has only begun.

Chemistry

Most students hate chemistry and find it boring but let me tell you if you can have the desire chemistry is really fun below are textbooks for your cause.

New school chemistry.
outline chemistry (this I recommend for jamb)
Esential chemistry terms of definitions and examples get this.
our comprehensive chemistry really good its just like essential but a cheaper guide get it.

Biology

Essential biology detailed for you (recommended for jamb and waec)
Modern biology don't use it if you can't understand it.

Maths and further maths

The both of them need intensive textbooks and constant practices I advice you get this books.

Aditional maths
Comprehensive maths
General mathematics

Further maths get new project further maths (1-3)

These are things you need to have please let your desire be your priority.

4.)Confidence: Don't be scared of jamb or Waec once you are set make a map of all you have read in your mind and as a science student you must know fundamentals very well and your S.I units never forget this so from this point I advice you be able to be flexible in questions know how to relate questions make use of your scientific method in real time.

Note: attempt hard questions while studying since jamb is CBT and waec is ppt once you grasp that jamb is straight forward and can let go of the fear and think fast you will ace jamb but when it comes to waec be gentle and be confident in your work and write your answers boldly. If your writing only jamb do hard questions on a particular topic e.g projectile when you can tackle this you are good to go.

P.S: if you are lost do not stay on one question move on you never know another question will give you the answer to the older question.

5.) S.I unit and conversion of unit: you must know this as a science student if you can't convert and write S.I unit you have made a bedroom for failure so I advice you hit the details well I can't write your exams for you but can give you ways to handle them.

6.)Time management: this is the major problem students have instead of reading they look for short cuts that will later affect them and waste more time thus making them go back to the drawing board. Time management in exam hall is also one you must put into consideration especially in jamb you must know how to be sharp. If you are good at calculations you can start with physics and maths depends on your subject combo. know your strength and grab it by the hair and pull it. For waec you must go for questions that are short and be able to give detailed answers .......

EducationReasons For Nigeria Poor Education System by MasterMindX1(op): 6:44pm On Jan 12, 2020
Nigeria has the highest number of children out of school in the world. There are 10.5 million children not being educated. I would be discussing thee Rasons For The Poor Education System In Nigeria.

Maybe we really need to follow the ways some countries with the best efucation system like United State , Canada ,Germany ,Finland .

Let's check out the main problem of Nigeria education system compiled by Edustuff .

Schools are overcrowded and ill- equipped
Poverty
Teachers qualification
Underpayment

1. Schools are overcrowded and ill- equipped: Many of the schools are overcrowded with students whereby there would be a very high number of student in a classroom . Due to this the teachers might find it difficult to direct the students , many student won't pay rapt attention to what they're being thought , and we know what this would result to ; failure of students.

2. Poverty : Some parents find it very difficult to enrol their children to school due to poverty ; lack of a good source of income for living .

3. Qualification : This can be verified as one of the main problem the education system in Nigeria is facing .

Most of the schools , especially private schools do employ unqualified teachers mainly due to the cost they would pay to a well qualified one .

4. Underpayment : Teachers should be well paid as doctors , teachers ...

Education7 Ways To Get A Full Scholarshipto Top UNIVERSTIES In The U.S by MasterMindX1(op): 7:43am On Dec 29, 2019
TOP 7 Ways to Get a Full Scholarship to the Top U.S. Universities

1. Make Research

A scholarship application mostly contains the sponsor’s scholarship selection criteria, but dig deeper. Find and read about sponsor of scholarship on the internet . Find their aims or objectives , you can find that in the "About Us" page on their website.

Research the scholarship sponsor on the web. Look for the mission of the organization statement, which you’ll often find in the “About Us” section of its website.

More at: www.edustuff.com.ng

2. Get involved with your community.

Students who volunteer enjoy a huge benefit with scholarship sponsors, says Marianne Ragins, who was presented on the cover of Parade Magazine in 1991, one of the most popular issues in the magazine’s history, after winning more than $400,000 in college scholarships.

Ragins, who holds presentations on winning scholarships, says scholarship sponsors are looking for a long-time commitment to volunteering.

This bias towards volunteering makes sense since many scholarship providers are nonprofits committed to assisting others.

3. Look professional.

Google your name to ensure that you have a professional online presence, advises Mark Kantrowitz, the publisher of FastWeb and the author of the new book Secrets to Winning a Scholarship.

Remove any inappropriate material from Facebook.

4. Make use of scholarship searc Engines

Using of scholarship search engines will make your job easier. Here are some to check out:

Fastweb
College Board
COLLEGEData

5. Don’t ignore the optional questions.

EducationHow To Apply For NIN (national Identification Number) :eligibility, Requirement by MasterMindX1(op): 4:57pm On Dec 27, 2019
How to Apply for NIN: In this write up it will be revealed to you the meaning of NIN , eligibility of NIN , the available registration center, importance of NIN, and more.

It is compulsory for every citizen and legal resident of Nigeria to enroll for the National Identification Number. Therefore, this article will focus on How to Apply for NIN in Nigeria and obtain the Card as well.

Important Notice to JAMB Candidates:

In recent development Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) registrar has announced that all candidates who will register for the 2020 JAMB UTME must have the NIN.
The NIMC requirement according to JAMB will fight all forms of malpractice including multiple Registration, illegal thumbprinting, Fraudulent beneficiaries of the ELDS system for example a situation where Chukwuemeka or Ngozika is from Oyo State ; such will no longer be possible since jamb will collect the data directly from NATIONAL IDENTITY MANAGEMENT using the NIM number.
Although, according to him, candidates will be able to apply for the NIN during their registration (at the JAMB CBT Center), we still advice candidates get theirs to reduce the rush.

WHAT IS A NIN?

The National Identification Number (NIN) is a set of numbers assigned to an individual upon successful enrolment. Enrolment consists of the recording of an individual’s demographic data and capture of the ten (10) fingerprints, head-to-shoulder facial picture and digital signature, which are all used to cross-check existing data in the National Identity Database to confirm that there is no previous entry of the same data.
Once this (de-duplication) process is completed the data is then stored with a unique NIN that was assigned to it. The NIN once issued to a person cannot be used again, (that is, it cannot be issued to another person even if the previous person is dead). It is the NIN that helps to tie all records about a person in the database and is used to check the identity verified.

NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

The National Identification Number (NIN) consists of 11 non- intelligible numbers randomly chosen and assigned to an individual at the completion of enrolment into the National Identity Database (NIDB).
Once a NIN is assigned to an individual, it can never be reassigned, given or used by another person – that makes it unique in nature.
In the case of the demise of an individual, his/her NIN is retired once a death certificate is presented to the Commission and the individual’s death is established.
The NIN is used to tie all records about an individual in the database and is also used to establish or verify his/her identity.
All citizens and legal residents in Nigeria, from age zero (birth) and above are eligible to enrol for their NINs.
The NIN should be closely guarded by individuals and not revealed to all and sundry except to relevant authorities when requested (for instance it shouldn’t be disclosed online over social media and should not be printed along with contact details on business cards or other office stationery).

ELIGIBILITY FOR NIN .... Kindly visit the source for more :https://www.edustuff.com.ng/2019/12/how-to-apply-for-national.html?m=1

Out of the 4 subject highlight the ones you're very good at and the one you're weak at ... Try and work more on your strength and make it stronger than working more on your weakness and affecting your strength .. "If I have 100 hours to do what I'm good at and what I'm bad at , I will use 70 hours on what I'm good at and get better and 30 hours on what I'm bad at and increase my strength in it " not loosing on both sides. - MasterMind

•Solve JAMB Past Questions
This is a great aspect , it is now a good news and no more a new news that JAMB do repeat questions from the past .The only thing they can try to do is to change how the questions are . Sometime they even bring back same question with same construction .
