I guess ur agent was wrong then. School says pay $4k so that ull be issued an unconditional letter of acceptance that ull use for your visa application and ur agent is telling u nt to pay? That wrong information. I believe Majority of peeps here whom their respective schools asked to pay some part of their tuition fees payed including me . Anyway u just need to commit ur app into Gods hand and pray fervently . There is nothing God cannot do. #Believe

opsynusy: thanks oghos...it was after I submitted that I decided to look for nigeria canada students forum and I got this...I don't know the kind of power my agent has o,cos I really didn't submit lots of documents and that's why I am worried..i submitted the application form,the questionaire,the family info,my international passport,my o level certificate,o level transcript(which my agent did for me cos I have never heard of olevel transcript),my uni notification of results,i studied french,graduated with 2.2,my uni transcript,my sis's statement of account,an affidavit from her,her biodata page of her international pasport,police clearance

I was once admitted in selkirk college sometime ago. I think the school requires u to deposit about $4000 before issuing u the unconditional acceptance letter. Pls check the acceptance letter very well.

I succeeded in compressing my different docs into 4mb but! the issue now is that my final results has PDF Compressor Pro tagged on each page .Is that good to go? And if NOT pls kindly post a link to download full version of any PDF COMPRESSOR. All the compressors I downloaded are not full versions.

I will advice you read his original post I qouted above before you start accusing me wrongly.

I guess he should counter check the letter, because if Lambton College deferment letter should stimulate that if TRV is not issued after deferment of the initial admission, the $6,649.49 first semester tuition deposit will be forfeited, I would unequivocally state that - its rather a stringent law, which should be avoided.

Don't say what you don't know man. I asked maple the same question sometime ago and I was told the same tin. They re talking bout application fee being forfeited not tuition . Call them to prove me wrong.

However it was clearly stated on the form that if my deferment is approved , it will deny me of any right to request a refund even if my application is refused .All fees will remain with Lambton. I pray I don't get refused but I'm just trying to be logical . Would you advise me to first request a refund and then defer or should I go ahead with the deferment ? Ur tuition fee is intact. What they mean is ur application fee.

So how precisely did you apply? Was it that you sent your application ( filled application form and scanned documents) to Maple for onward processing to Lambton College or you applied to Lambton College but made the $50 application fee payable to Maple?

Amen.. I sent my scanned application directly to lambton and I immediately got a response from maple to resend my application form and cv. And also pay 8grands ($50) into deir acc.. U no need fear bro. Maple is lambton's agent in naija. U go see say na even lambton college email maple go take reply u.

Please as anyone ever applied through this agent to Lambton college before? Do I have to take all my academic documents to the agent for approval or I have to go through the normal application process stated on Lambton College site but then make payment to Maple?

I applied through maple and got my acceptance letter within 2 weeks. I sent my transcripts, application form, cv and bank teller (#8k).

Yu have to go through their agent in nigeria (maple) and you ll be required to pay the sum of #8000 naira into deir acc.

Oga chrigo no mind me abeg. I dey fill d form and u knw there is a place where u are asked to give details of ur prog . Eg . If it's a college - diploma, college - certificate, college - advanced degree , university - bsc etc. so make u tell me as I confuse.

Hello house. I have a passport which has 1 year and 4 months validity Left in it. Should I get a new one or use it for visa application. From my understanding you re only required to get a new passport at least 6 months before the expiry date. Dose who got deir trv , did ur passport validity cover the period of ur study or course in canada?

- Are you going for a lesser degree and above 30 ?
- Do you have more than enough work experience than intended course of study?
- course of study mismatch with background.
course(e.g having a background of Computer science and going to study Nursing)
- Low Finance( yes finance!!!....now that its very flexible for student to work immediately they land Canada, you can choose to abandon school and start working since you have enough work experience)
- Improper explanation of your intentions(work on your LOE)

These are just my opinion......Gurus in da house will help you further....

My app was refused today.
Reason was that I do not have a family tie in canada and in my home and secondly my purpose of visit .
other reasons: You failed to satisfy me that the project of studies in Canada is not principally for the purpose of gaining entry to Canada

Documents submitted :

Completed application form
Sop
Cac documents
Tax clearance certificate
Tax receipts
Tuition deposit
Bank acc both personal and corporate acc
Dad's bank acc
Dads landed property and affidavit of co sponsorship
My affidavit of sponsorship
I applied as a self sponsor
Pls house can u pls tell me how to tackle this issue cos i intend reapplying next week.
The start date of my course is 25th of August . Can I meet up?
