Hello all.. i intend moving to Germany soonest to live and work there. i am a grad.
I seem to hear some negative views about Germany in the sense that two of my relatives
live there. they all said i shouldn't come @all cos there is no work there and also that i
cannot get residence permit because they know of people who have been there for over 10 years
without residence permit and are suffering. So i said i should ask you guys.
Meanwhile, i have a friend who is married and lives in Wuppertal, he gave me a positive story , that i can
come and seek asylum and maybe get married to their women to get stay and germany is the best place to
live and work in europe.
please i'll need to hear from you guys.

Good morning my fellow nairalanders.
I was @ the American Embassy yesterday for my appointment/interview in order for me to visit/attend my Cousins wessing ceremony in texas but I got denied.
Frm my observation, I think the CO was a bit not having a good time unlike the other white guy @ cubicle/Room 4 who was just granting visas to first time travellers,(yung bois and gals).
Even before I was called upon I was praying not to fall into his hands cos he wasn't laffin nor smiling,80 percnet of us who fell into his hands got denied.
You need to see how d oda were smiling with applicants.and granting visas.
Anyway, I thank God for everythin cos I answered all the questions correctly. It was just quite unfortunate. Ve been asking God Why since yesterday.
I got there arnd 7am.

Me:...to visit my uncle nd attend my cousins wedding ceremony,
VO: what's ur occupation? He flipped through my passport to see if dere were visas.
Me: IT officer
