PoliticsLetter To Sowore; "We Are Sorry, Forgive Us But We Have Finally Moved" by masterpiecedavid(op): 9:12pm On Oct 26, 2020
LETTER TO SOWORE; "WE ARE SORRY, FORGIVE US BUT WE HAVE FINALLY MOVED" BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE

I salute your courage, ruggedity and doggedness for this struggle in the reality of a new Nigeria. You are spearheading a move as a catalyst of our desired expectations even though many are hiding and not acknowledging your efforts but some us value your selfless commitment.

Thank you for making it clear to us that rule of law isn't functional in our country again as we now have "rule of force" in a time like this.
Thank you for making us realize that due process of your detainment wasn't observed and the federal government has lot of things behind the scene against you that's why they are against you addressing the press.

Thank you for making us know that we are slaves in our country under the rulership of a tyrant. As the yoruba adage goes; "the breeze has blown and we have seen the ass of the chicken".

We are in a country where our rulers and task masters are using the tears of the downtrodden masses to drink wine as they merry with our agonies.

Now, we know that our rulers are taking us as a kid who was beaten and spanked for nothing but instructed not to cry out with option to express his agony from within. Our heart is bleeding and we are staining the beds of our expectations with tears day by day with hope that seems as though the reality is on vacation.

It is more obvious that a security agent can be empowered above a judge of a legal system and the Nigeria court can become a temporary headquarter of impunity. It appears as though the administration that claimed to be fighting corruption are actually fighting the right of the people in reality.

In this administration, we have seen federal security agents acting as terrorists on mask at the federal house of assembly and the one that mopped you recently in court have no identity as we can propose that our security agents are becoming assassins in disguise.

It is becoming more gruesome when our EFCC can be that active to see to sentencing a yahoo yahoo boy in two weeks for deceiving a foreigner but our "barawo barawo men" who are politicians that stole hundreds of millions from our national treasury pend on been sentenced for a decade till the charges against them are withdrawn and forgotten.

We are sorry for keeping so quite about your detainment for over 126 days as we feel we are yet to feel the heat personally as other young people that you are also fighting their cause see you as been ambitious because they have pledged allegiance to party politics and this administration is servicing their pockets as they rob them of their future.

We are sorry for being myopic as we feel our prayers for a revolution will come by God sending angels or aliens to our country as many are ignorant that we are the transformation and our victory is with us as we collectively rise against every one and systems that are anti our nation's deliverance from abnormalities.

Please forgive us as it seems as though we are not ready for what we desire for our nation that has made us cry, that has made us lose our peace, that has taken our dignity, that has made us unsafe and things that are against our unity as a nation.

Please forgive us for been silent when we should be loud about our oppressors and the enemies of our progress who are planning to kill us for expressing our distress and discomfort even when they are aware that they are responsible for our pains as they hide under the umbrella of "hate speech bill".
We are sorry for disappointing you as we are smiling in our suffering as many have resigned to fate and feel the best thing to do in this critical moment is to make a jest of it on the social media and continue with our "feel good syndrome".

We are assuring you that we are waking up gradually from our slumber as it is occurring to us that we can't allow our future being sabotaged in our very own eyes as it appears as though our nation is sailing on the turbulence of barbaric acts and inhuman waves.

We salute your courage and share in your pain comrade.

We are awaken and our eyes are now opened. We are not taking you labours and efforts over time for granted. We are proud of you.

I'm a Nigerian, I believe in a new Nigeria and our revolution is on the way.

PoliticsMy Thoughts On Palliative Saga By Masterpiece David Olawade by masterpiecedavid(op): 9:00pm On Oct 26, 2020
MY THOUGHTS ON PALLIATIVE SAGA BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE

I want to believe the announcement made months ago that CACOVID response team delivered 1.4 billion naira worth palliatives to over 107,000 Lagosians is a prophesy that is just coming to pass. Also, I want to believe that Nigerians just started receiving the palliatives the minister of humanitarian affairs announced she recently distributed to the 36 states.

Our politicians are coming on air to declare those carting away with palliatives from the warehouses as looters. Me too I'm declaring all the bad boys in government that are stealing from the national treasury lootests because their own stealing is deeper oo. If those taking palliatives from the warehouses are looters then our politicians are lootests.

Please, hear me folks, I know you are on your way to become a chief justice but stop calling those carting away with palliatives thieves. Some of you calling these people thieves are only saying this because you have something to eat, if your mouth is actually dry by now you will be updating on your social media status; "if you hear any news about palliative warehouse in our hood, DM me ASAP".

Many of these people have never benefitted from the government, the government made them hungry and are presently privileged to take some of the things that belong to them that the government hoarded.

Some of the folks that carted away with the palliatives saw the experience as a miracle and have testified about the "goodness of God" in church today, for flesh and blood didn't reveal the palliative warehouses. They saw it as the Lord's doing and they believed the tons of palliatives were marvelous in their sight. They possessed their possessions and some people can't keep quiet.

Someone has been hungry for couple of days and discovers a palliative warehouse in his neighbourhood, shebi he will go and return the palliatives to the government because hunger is his birthright.

I don't support looting but I'm yet to be convinced and term taking of palliatives from the warehouses in a time like this as looting.

Our politicians, EFCC, government agencies and their animals that used to swallow money are the real looters and lootests.

One of the Lagos law makers said the palliatives that were found in his house were to be distributed on his birthday. Shebi his birthday is "WORLD PALLIATIVE DAY". Also, the people that carted away with the palliatives came for them so they can use them for their own birthdays too.

PS: This article is in no way in support of violent protesters, hoodlums and criminals who have been damaging properties and stealing, all in the name of #ENDSARS protest. These acts are products of wickedness and greed which the society and authorities should frown at seriously.

FamilyThe Greatest Lesson My Father Taught Me: May We Not Die Before People Get To End by masterpiecedavid(op): 10:25am On Jun 21, 2020
THE GREATEST LESSON MY FATHER TAUGHT ME: MAY WE NOT DIE BEFORE PEOPLE GET TO ENDORSE OUR GOOD WORKS BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE

One of the wicked acts I have seen under the sun that people don’t really pay attention to is how people wait till the demise of a man before they get to acknowledge his good works and show how much such man mean to them.

If some folks that gave up the ghost on their sick beds, during moments of depression and trying times of lack get to see how people can be concerned about them during their funeral and hear the good things people say about them, they may not have died as such acts could be healing to their souls and bodies.

Folks who feel lonely and neglected without empathy from many get to die as their demise attracts tons of people from far and near to mourn. It grieves my heart to know that people can be very ready to mourn over a good man after his death but find it difficult to celebrate his kind gestures when he is alive.

My father once told me as a lad that a man can’t really know how much he means to people because his true value and worth will only be reviewed and revealed after his demise. I was heartbroken to hear that as I imagined how this mentality can be colossal as it is predicated on showing love to a person in a moment where he or she can’t experience it.

I have seen men die in lack but their funeral attracted abundance of resources from folks who knows them but were never available to help them. I have seen men who died in their loneliness and state of been neglected but their funeral brought about multitudes who were never dear to them and there for them in moments when they needed them.

The help you intentionally offer me when I don’t need it or the help I can get from you when I’m no more available to receive it is mockery in disguise.

The eyes that can only shield tears in the day of one's demise but was not available to smile at one's progress when alive in moments of tribulation is from the heart of a mocker and not a lover.

You are an enemy in disguise to anyone who can only feel your concern and get to know how much their lives have impacted you only when they are no more on the surface of the earth. Sometimes, funerals don’t just reveal a man's friends but project a man’s enemies that have been camouflaging over the years.

Why do you want to wait to contribute to buy a man's casket when you can buy his products and call for his service?

Why do you want to wait till a man is dead before you know his house and acknowledge that he has been suffering as a good man?

If you know how the souls of the dead folks feel about some of us when we attend their funerals, we would weep more in shame no matter the help you have done for their funeral and family.

Any help you can only render to a man after his demise is wickedness. Any good words you can say about a man that he didn’t get to hear from you when he was alive is mockery.

Yes! We get to say, we don’t owe any man who we are not committed and obliged to our attention, but the lives of some men have in a way paid for our attention and snubbing them can be a debt. When some dead folks see and read the beautiful things we share on our social media platforms about them after their demise, they would wish they live again if we could tell them in person or still withhold it from them.

I was in church years ago, and we were told to pray against the evil that makes people get help and remembered only after their demise but I later discovered that we and our mentalities were the evil we were praying against.

Folks, be intentional from today; reach out to those that have in one way contributed to your life, reach out to those lonely folks around you, help the needy around you, patronize that your friend that is selling different products, use your connection to help your friend that have been looking for job for years and so on.

Let those around you feel your impacts now that are alive to experience it because it could be a waste to them when they are no more. You can start now, you don’t know what tomorrow holds.

Christianity EtcSomebody Help Me! I Want To Preach To Bill Gates But He Is Not Listening To Me by masterpiecedavid(op): 9:30am On May 06, 2020
SOMEBODY HELP ME! I WANT TO PREACH TO BILL GATES BUT HE IS NOT LISTENING TO ME BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE

I told Bill Gates that I'm filled with the Holy Ghost and I build up my most holy faith praying in the Holy Ghost but he told me he didn't pray in tongues yet he had faith that polio can be eradicated in Nigeria within two years and it happened according to his believe and resources. He told me he needed a mind blowing evidence that my faith has produced.

I told him that I have the healing anointing but he asked me how many sick have I healed because he does not have the healing anointing yet he has sponspored medical outreaches that saw to the healings of chronic disease outbreaks in nations.

I proceeded to tell him God is able to supply my needs according to his riches in glory but he said his needs are met and he is meeting the needs of others without being under any pressure.

He asked me if truly I'm the seed of Abraham because he is already lending to nations while he is yet to see me demonstrate the reality of abundance and I'm yet to really lend to my family.

He said my divine wisdom is questionable if by now I can't come up with an idea that would be solution to the need of generations and he asked me what's happening to believers like me with prophetic unctions but can't download ideas in the spirit to solve the problems of humanity.

He reminded me that he was not in the spirit neither was he fasting when he thought through the idea of "Microsoft" and nations including believers are benefitting from it.

I told him I'm not relenting in making men hungry and thirsty for God as I also give myself to fasting. He reminded me of people in different places across the world that fast momentarily because they have no food to eat, they are thirsty because they have no potable water to drink and he has become a savior to them with his poverty alleviation scheme.

Listen to me, there are some things our spirituality lacks that has made us lose relevance in our generation.

If the peak of your purpose in life is what someone can help me to achieve by their own status, personality and resources then it is not divine.

Imagine someone saying, his purpose on earth is just to have a secondary school which he has been fasting and praying for. That purpose, an unbeliever has explored the realities without fasting and someone who is not born again can help to fulfill it with his resources without bringing God to the picture.

Hope you know that about 75% of the world's wealth is controlled by about 10% of individuals who are not even believers. Please, where are the Solomons of this generation who will be custodians of wealth and through prosperity make the kingdom of God spread abroad.

You are praying and fasting to get a job at that esteemed N.G.O, hope you know that N.G.O is someone's idea and he is not as spiritual as you are. Why can't you also be an employer of men by reaching heaven to get an idea no man has ever conceived before?

Where are the Josephs of my days with creative ideas that their nations would be at their mercy?

Brother, that testimony of miracle job you said you got should make you think deeply because the CEO and Human Resource Manager of that company doesn't even believe in miracles.

The decrees of our political leaders and men at the top of affairs in parastatals can be an hindrances to the prayer of many saints due to the position they occupy yet we are not bothered for losing our space and inheritance.

How have we forgotten so soon that one of the assignments our master gave us was to disciple nations? Where can I find the Daniels of my generation who understand times and seasons to the extent of telling kings how to direct the affairs of nations? Where are the political scientists who are believers but don't know they have the knowledge for a time like this?

The economy of our nation is crashing by the day yet God can't find an anointed man who will request for a solution that would be a patent to deliver our economic crisis and other nations. Where are the anointed economists who have forgotten why they were privileged to read economics on campus? So disappointing that they are looking for microphone to preach when God needs them to be a voice and invade that sector.

We are tired of wasting anointed Doctors and Pharmacists who have navigated pathways in the spirit but lack relevance in their field. How come they can't have revelations of how to get cure for terminal diseases? Have they ever told God to tell them the reason for a particular disease and they are tired of watching people die daily of it?

Can't someone tell God to make him or her a legal voice to restore sanity to our society? Listen to me ma, you are not just a barrister to make a living and to be comfortable, God can use you to bring our nation out of pool of lawlessness.

How come spirit filled believers can't see inventories and get ideas for innovations in the spirit but can see phone numbers and the names of household enemies disturbing a man?

The answer to the prayers for our nation is the rise of men from among us that would take their place in God's agenda for our nation. You can be that man we have been waiting for. You can be the answer to the prayers of multitudes of saints.

That young child in that village may not have to die of hunger if you arise, that patient in the ward can live again if you emerge, those that aren't guilty of any crime may not need to be convicted again if you locate your space.

I don't know about you but this has been my own prayer lately; "Lord send me a message and give me errands. Tell me what you desire to do in my generation that no one is paying attention to and find me worthy to do it".

Let us pray!

CrimeThey Made Us Hungry And Now We Are Killing Ourselves by masterpiecedavid(op): 10:19am On Apr 16, 2020
THEY MADE US HUNGRY, SOME BECAME THIEVES FROM AMONG US AS THEY ARE NOW MAKING US KILL OURSELVES BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE

Tears filled my eyes when I got the pictures of the teenagers caught as robbers in the neighborhood.

Yes! I detest the act of robbery as such act has become the latest terror in the neighborhood.

I was touched and pained as the angry occupants took their lives.

Whether we agree or not, folks responsible for their death also attempted and committed murder.

For me, I'm seeing behold their act as suspected robbers and the jungle justice; a failed system and government is more responsible for their demise.

Hungry teenagers like them given birth to by hungry parents are supposed to be in their third year in a reputable tertiary institution living above $3 a day.

Trust me, if I was reputable and influential enough in the neighborhood, I would have agitated for them not to be killed if I was privileged to be at the scene.

Yes! They can be arrested.

If anyone feels they deserve this, then our politicians deserve more than this because they have stolen more from the masses but we salute them when they come to our neighborhood on convoys guided by escorts even when we know they are responsible for our anguish.

I know robbers like these cause people pains but have you imagined the cries and pains our failed government has caused us over the years including turning these teenagers to robbers?

What can we say about some of the drivers and folks going to hustle in a time like rather than steal but ended up been shot dead by security agents?

We think killing teenagers like this is the way forward right! Hope we know our failed systems and government continues to afflict us afterwards.

EducationBefore You Join Any Challenge Online, You Need To Understand These by masterpiecedavid(op): 9:40am On Apr 14, 2020
BEFORE YOU JOIN ANY CHALLENGE ONLINE, YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND THESE

Someone sent me some pictures to join the challenge of ticking things I ever did in secondary school and university which an enumerated list. I told her I presently don't have the time luxury to be thinking about what I did years ago as I'm presently committed to what I need do now and in time to come.

She sighed and said; "Masterpiece, you are arrogant". I responded; "you are idle" as well both laughed over the matter.

I later brought her knowledge to the fact that I consider the value things will add to me before giving them consideration as I asked; what value will your retrospect of things you did years ago add to you when you have a number of things to do now that would add value to your life?

Realistically, there are a number of challenges folks are joining on social media lately because they have decided to be bored.

Hear me folks, don't join any challenge when you don't have how to overcome your present challenges in view as you need to give more attention to personal challenges that would add value to your life in this season.

In the bid of joining different challenges online, some people have remained a challenge to their destiny fulfillment, become a limitation to their progress and ended up becoming a problem to their solution.

If you are idle and looking for challenges to engage, I can recommend one for you. I have seen folks in this season engaging 7-Day reading challenge, some are on 6 hours praying in the spirit daily while some are doing 8 hours learning a skill online daily. Don't be deceived that everyone is bored and idle like you, you need to wake up.

So disappointing that during this present nationwide lockdown and self-isolation, some folks have lockdown their purpose, prayer life, study life, moments of fasting, personal development culture and so on as they have in the long run isolated their future and destiny.*

My friend Emmanuel A. Ahmadu (one of the most excellent and dynamic young men I have ever met and listened to) wrote yesterday; "YOUR CHOICE THIS SEASON WILL CHOOSE THE RESULTS THAT WILL FOLLOW YOU AFTER THE LOCKDOWN". I had to ring him over a conversation for emphasis as he brought my knowledge to this; "BE PHENOMENAL OR BE FORGOTTEN".

This season will teach you whether not having enough time to do what you wished to do was your challenge. You may end up realizing that you have enough time now yet you can't account it for personal development and spiritual growth.

You may have been saying, you are quite busy over time that's why; you didn't read or write those books, you didn't give attention to your relationship with folks around you, you didn't write that proposal or research paper and so on. Now you have the time as the days go by but you haven't responded to those demands.

If you are already caught up with that at the moment, don't be worried or disappointed but give attention to the necessary. Settle in your mind to revisit your priorities and place value on the necessaries.

Better days are ahead of you.

PoliticsThe Nigeria Covid-19 Drama, Episode 1 by masterpiecedavid(op): 9:24am On Apr 14, 2020
THE NIGERIA COVID-19 DRAMA, EPISODE 1

All the folks that are joking with the way Nigeria government is responding to the welfare of Nigerians in a time like this, I have a word for you. Shebi, all the updates and reports by the honorable Minister of Information who is a bonafide son of the father of all liars is funny abi.

God forbid that this lockdown continues for another one month then you will know the government doesn't like you. Shebi the small change in your account is still giving you hope and you can still afford data subscription to be doing "pop daddy and mummy, don't rush" challenge. Don't worry, time they say reveals things.

When your money finishes and you can't afford data again, Pop daddies and mummies will frown and rush out. That time, we won't only be doing social distancing, there will now be social media distancing. When folks can't afford data again, social media isolation and lockdown will now start. All of us will now like radio and desire it on our phones.

Hope you know many are spending in this season without have a source of income that gets money back to them at the moment?

Hope you are aware that many private firms can't continue to pay everyone they asked to stay at home this season as it's as though the firms aren't really making profits as supposed?

I'm surprised that many are expecting Nigeria government to take feeding the masses and giving relief funds serious. Why will they take it serious when they are not canvassing for votes neither is it election period?

Calm down, when it is election period, all the money and food they don't want to give us now, we would soon get it. They will even send representatives to bring them to our houses. There will suddenly be money equivalent to over 10,000 per person that vote their party for thousands of people at the polling booths. This type of expenditure and funds from government won't be reported on air.

Come to think of it, a country that have taken over 7 years to produce plastic national Identity cards but it takes few months to get plastic voters' card ready. You should know the priority of such a government.

We recently saw another episode from the ongoing national soap opera of the treasury building on fire. We are waiting to hear that money and valuable documents have been burnt. If snake can swallow money as the government told us and we believed, we have believed in advance before they tell us that fire have burnt some money of the nation and they would use billions of naira to renovate the building.

I have said it overtime, Nigeria government is a drama, only if the politicians forget their scripts, decadence will remain the order of the day.

Anyone that can defend this government or says our politicians aren't wicked, be wary of such men because they can also defend the devil for his havoc over humanity.

EducationGovernment Should Endorse E-learning For Undergraduates In This Season by masterpiecedavid(op): 9:13am On Apr 14, 2020
WHY I WILL SUPPORT THE GOVERNMENT TO ENDORSE E-LEARNING FOR TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS TO CONTINUE THEIR ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE

My younger sister told me yesterday about the proposed plans of some universities to continue their academic calendar online through Telegraph. She desired my take on such modality having heard quite a number of undergraduates complaining that it can't be effective because many students can't afford internet data for such.

I was so happy that she could desire my take on the matter as she is always aware that I don't condone idleness and I will always frown at irresponsibility. I told her many students saying internet data would be a problem are only using that as I excuse and have their priority misplaced in a season like this.

How can a student that uploads videos using "Tik Tok or Thriller" app not minding the ads to do "pop daddy and mummy, don't rush" challenge not have data to follow a lecture on telegraph?

How can students that have been doing boredom challenge online and spends an average of 10 hours actively online daily not be able to spare three hours on telegraph to attend two lectures daily or download the audios of the classes later?

It's only a Nigeria student that can upload pictures of at least 3 MB on social media but finds it difficult to download PDF lecture materials of over 1 MB shared on the class WhatsApp page because he or she is trying to save data.

I concluded another 7-Day midnight reading challenge with some folks this morning and I was surprised to see an undergraduate student on the group page that was studying his academic materials with past exam question papers over the nights as he shared the pictures. Some students like the guy are busy studying what Davido and Chioma are doing on Instagram, yet they won't have data for e-learning.

I spoke to a final year undergraduate recently and I asked him how he was going with his research project. I was disappointed to hear him tell me the project was on hold because of COVID-19 as I was struggling to believe if his brain was on shutdown and downloading materials online won't be possible.

A proactive student would progress against all odds and reach his supervisor via mails to review his work since his supervisor is also having the whole day to himself at home. I told a friend from experience recently that this is the best time to write and publish academic papers since all reviewers over the world are working from home and have time as they would engage prompt response on documents sent to them.

If Nigeria universities can come up with e-learning for undergraduates at home, it would curtail a lot of things such as infodemic, idleness, boredom and so on.

I feel the minister of Education could look into this but the challenge is; ASUU recently gave him a notice on a proposed strike over federal government's failure to fulfill their promises to the association. I'm hoping that the federal government would do the necessary to this regard so that undergraduates won't still remain at home after the COVID-19 pandemic.

I would also suggest undergraduate students should start writing their matric numbers, course of study, name of hostel and so on somewhere so that they won't forget after COVID-19 since they are agitating that they don't want e-learning in a time like this.

Christianity EtcThe Abomination Of This End Time Church By Olawade David B. by masterpiecedavid(op): 2:37pm On Jan 15, 2017
*THE ABOMINATION OF THIS END TIME CHURCH; BECAUSE WE FAILED IN SPIRITUAL RESPONSIBILITIES, WE ARE NOW HELPING GOD WITH CARNAL ALTERNATIVES TO PROTECT THE CHURCH BY OLAWADE DAVID B.*

Read on the link- https://masterpieceph.com/2017/01/15/the-abomination-of-this-end-time-church-because-we-failed-in-spiritual-responsibilities-we-are-now-helping-god-with-carnal-alternatives-to-protect-the-church-by-olawade-david-b/

*Checking through my Facebook news feed this afternoon, the picture of the priest of St. James Catholic Cathedral Military base, Yobe with AK47 riffle on the altar (though am still on investigation on the picture) got me wondering and lingered these words in my heart from the burdens I have been having lately for the church. I could not help it but to write a message to all believers as the comments of believers on the picture dazed me. Many said this is the best way for the end time church to watch and pray having the plans of the enemies in view. I write to disagree with these comments with reasons.*

"The weapon of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God.."

*When the church refuse to pray and pay attention to certain issues, they would pay with other measures that might not be spirit-inspired.*

It's time for the church to wake up. If you notice that the church where you worship is still sleeping, please be the one to wake them up. I believe the Nigeria church should have slept enough by now.

*Spiritual irresponsibility would cost believers who are supposed to put on the whole armour of God to put on the armour of men in the evil days (Ephesians 6:13).*

I don't know where believers are getting this new doctrine from, using carnal weapons to fight spiritual battles because of their failure in prayers years ago in the time of need.

*One of the weapons we need is mercy for our laxity and grace for spiritual responsibility for what we should have done.*

I have never seen in my bible where God instructs us to carry carnal weapons for this end time move. Because we have failed in our responsibility to intercede and reach out to our enemies which is our weapon to win them, we are now looking for carnal alternatives.

*It's time for us to repent and re-dedicate our lives for global and cross-cultural evangelism.*

When we are supposed to be carrying the sword of the spirit which is the word of God to every towns, cities and nation, we failed now we want to start carrying guns and bombs as a substitute.

*We should have carried the shield of field to win and penetrate territories for God, now we want to start wearing bullet proofs to church because we are scared of not been saved from attacks from the enemy. Rubbish, what nonsense am I seeing amidst the children of God?*

We are supposed to worship God in liberty because where the spirit of God is there is liberty but now we are scared and in bondage to worship God in some parts of our country because we might be roasted and slaughtered suddenly.

*We are to be protected by angels as God has promised us that His angels encamp around those that fear Him but now we are hiring policemen and soldiers to protect the church of God from the enemies. Policemen and soldiers are now replacing the ministrations of angels because the church as lost her identity and power.*

May God help us. Because we failed in our spiritual responsibilities, we are now helping God with carnal alternatives to protect His church which He bought with the blood of His precious blood.
*This is my heart cry, Lord have mercy upon us, we have failed in our duty posts and watch towers.*
Let us pray!

Selah!

At about the same time our church the Embassy of God that used to be called in the 90’s the Word of Faith Church was making its strides on the historical landscape of the former Soviet Union. Paralleled out of nowhere, the name MMM hit the air waves.

*PONZI SCHEMES AND PYRAMIDS – WHAT ARE THEY ?*

The terms Ponzi schemes and pyramids were new in the former Soviet Union. Ponzi schemes and pyramids are a long known fraudulent way from getting money from rather ignorant people. Whereby operators pay returns to the participants, from fresh money coming in from newly recruited members.

A legitimate business on the other hand, must be involved in production of goods or services through which profit is made. A profit therefore is made legitimate by the exchange of goods or services produced. When it comes to Ponzi schemes and pyramids however, they do not produce goods or service so there is no process of production whatsoever, therefore there is no legitimate means of making a profit. Ponzi schemes and pyramids like MMM base their operations on the greed of men to make quick money without paying the price of hard work.

They entice new members and participants purely based on the desire of these participants to make quick money. Sergey Mavrodi himself is quoted as saying, MMM is a business built on exploiting people’s vice of greed and lust for money. Thanks to my ability to understand and speak Russian language fluently, I personally listened to Mr. Mavrodi in an interview in Russian language when he was saying this. According to him, his philosophy is as long as greed and lust for money is part of human nature, MMM will live. He says that there is nothing anybody can do in any country to stop his business, because people still want to have quick and easy money. Even today, on his MMM website, he gives a clear warning to all the participants that they could lose their money and yet people still go ahead and get involved. In Mr. Mavrodi’s mind which he openly speaks about, he is not cheating anybody and he is not robbing anybody, because according to him, he is sincere enough to tell them exactly what he is doing. So he says, I tell people what I am doing, they know they are involved in criminal acts, they know they are involved in pyramids, they know they are involved in frauds, so what am I doing wrong then? People are intentionally getting involved in something they know is evil and could go catastrophic at any time.

*15 MILLION MAVRODI CASUALTIES.*
In Russia by the time his company was shut down, he had succeeded in attracting about 15 million people who put their money and eventually lost their money as a result. MMM is a known pyramid and Ponzi scheme network all over the world. It is actually renowned for it. More so the founder of the organization Sergey Mavrodi has been convicted for Ponzi scheme and has served jail term of four years. As a matter of fact, he is right now in hiding and operating MMM Nigeria and others while on the run from his own country Russia. *Hence when you go to the page of MMM Nigeria, you will see where there is a warning that this MMM is not allowed in Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus, because the founder is wanted in these countries.*

*WHY EVERY NIGERIAN MUST FIGHT AGAINST GET RICH QUICK SCHEMES*

“We who have means and a voice must use them to help those who have neither.” ― Jennifer Donnelly.

There are some points that we need to underline specifically for the Nigerian public that could help answer a lot of unanswered questions.

1. Sergey Mavrodi being a mathematical genius and winner of several mathematical Olympiads while still a student in school, uses his knowledge and his superior intellect to manipulate the rather gullible populace.

2. *Thanks to his intellectual prowess, it is not difficult for him to realize the power of mass media on the people. Sergey Mavrodi’s strength is in pouring a large percentage of the money he gets from people into advertisement and publicity.*

3. The greatest attraction to MMM though is the thirty percent promised returns on a monthly basis. This is the standard Ponzi and pyramid percentage in almost every such scheme throughout history. To my Nigerian brethren, I want to ask, what you have done for you to warrant a reward or profit of thirty percent a month which could be up to three hundred and sixty percent in a year. Have you asked yourself where the money is coming from? Is it coming from heaven or dropping from the trees? Of course you know the answer – the money is not coming from production or sales, it is coming from your down line, the new people like you who are bringing in money.

4. *If you are being paid from the money other people are bringing in, to a thinking mind that is enough reason for you to know that the whole project will collapse sooner than later. This is because whenever the input becomes less than the output that means more people are collecting their thirty percent from the company than those who are bringing in money, that marks the end of the system.*

5. Right now, the operators of MMM in Nigeria and all over the world are busy pushing their guilders, managers and participants to keep on recruiting new members who bring in fresh money. That which first appears to them as success also carries in itself the seed of its demise. This is because the more people bring in money, the larger the amount of money that is asked for their thirty percent returns. Sooner or later you will have more people taking away from the system than are bringing into the system, marking the end of the whole scheme.

6. *Why is this bad as far as some people have made some money from the system? Well, let me tell you why it is bad. Let’s say the first one million people brought money in. For that one million people to continuously be paid thirty percent, they need to bring in at least another three million people. So if the system collapses even though one million people have been paid, three million people will still be left hanging, looking for where to be paid from. The bigger such a pyramid grows, the more catastrophe it becomes eventually. When three million people lose their money that equals to more sorrow, more pain than if it is one million people who lost their money.*

7. To my gullible and ignorant compatriots who innocently claim that MMM is God’s answer to the economic crisis of Nigeria, the truth is that with MMM, it is no more going to be economic crisis, it is going to be an economic graveyard. Right now in this economic crisis that the country is going through, people don’t have money and they don’t have jobs, but MMM has not created jobs, it has not provided productions, it has not brought any money into the country, so nothing has been done to improve the economic situation, which means nothing has changed. The only thing it has changed is that the little money you had to use for one thing or the other, is now been collected from you to be given to another person who uses that money as he sees fit. This is equal to robbing peter to pay Paul.

8. *The participants of MMM network, claim to just give money to each other, where is the money you are giving to each other coming from? Why didn’t you give that money to each other before MMM came if you are so kind? Of course it is because you are getting a mysterious thirty percent from where you don’t even understand. If you are truly an innocent person with integrity and character, you should ask yourself the question – where is this money that I am been given coming from? This is like saying that everyone one who is accepting this thirty percent return will willingly participate in sharing the spoils of thieves and robbers. Do you know that that is already a criminal act by itself? Even though you might use other words to justify yourself, but this is actually what you are doing.*

9. A lot of you think you are not doing anything wrong by participating in MMM. You think you are better than the armed robbers, thieves and corrupt politicians, but you are actually doing the same thing they are doing. The only difference between you and the thieves and robbers is they attack with guns and weapons to by force deprive you of your possessions. While you and your MMM companions don’t carry guns and weapons, yet carry a more subtle and dangerous weapon of deceit, lies and cunningness.

10. *Yes you cannot be arrested and charged directly as an armed robber will be, but so are the corrupt politicians. They too cannot be directly charged as armed robbers and thieves who come with weapons, but they are all as guilty, because they use the weapon of pen and manipulation of government numbers and budget. In my own opinion however, the participants of Ponzi schemes and pyramids like MMM are even worse, because the corrupt politicians steal from government coffers, but you steal from already poor and desperate fellow citizens in the most unsuspecting manner.*

11. If the total amount of public servants in Nigeria is just about a million people, that means the number of people who are involved in MMM is much bigger than the number of our so called corrupt politicians, leading us to conclude that the devastating effect of such pyramid and Ponzi schemes like MMM affects a far larger number of Nigerians than what the politicians will ever do. In the case of the politicians, the citizens never actually know they are been deprived, but with Ponzi operators, they actually come to your pocket to take the last penny from you, making it impossible for you put food on your table. So it is an immediate and personal devastation.

12. *To me personally, I think the biggest evil that groups like MMM bring to the country is the utterance and negative effects it brings to the culture and the value system of our people. These schemes propagates the culture of GETTING SOMETHING FOR NOTHING. These schemes discourage, the virtue of DELAYED GRATIFICATION. Such schemes as MMM compel a large percentage of the population to believe that production is not necessary for prosperity. They cause people to begin to think that what they need for their wellbeing is money rather than hard work. They stiffen the creative potential of a nation and suffocate its industrial capacity. This is why I believe every Nigerian must raise their voice, to begin to not just discourage but propagate against these groups as social vices in our nation. It is a social vice that could pollute and have catastrophic consequences not just on the economy, but on the psyche of a whole nation.*

“If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. If an elephant has its foot on the tail of a mouse, and you say that you are neutral, the mouse will not appreciate your neutrality.” ― Desmond Tutu

Before I end this first part of my seven part article, I want you to take a look at this diagram that proves that even if MMM does not collapse immediately it will collapse eventually. This is because by the time it gets to the eleventh stage it is already more than the entire population of Nigeria so how will it be sustain? By the time it gets to the thirteenth stage, it is more than the population of the entire world.

*This is to help those people who might still be in one sort of illusion or the other for a miracle to know that this is not a miracle matter at all. Either you pray or you don’t pray it will collapse. MMM is not coming from God at all, this is not God’s way.*

OPEN LETTER TO CR7; THE SUCCESS STORY BY ADEBAYO ISMAEEL OLAMILEKAN
I HAVE LEARNT SO MANY THINGS FROM YOUR LIFE.............MY LOVE FOR YOU

Far above winning your 4th Ballon D'or is your passion for excellence.....There is no doubt you have been an industrious players all through your life. Even at 31years of age, you still run around like you just wanna enter the limelight which for me, you have been in for the last 8years. I must confess my Love for you knows no bound and here are some of what I have learnt from you.

(1) DONT GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS:

Your life history right from your childhood days really attested to how hard life was for you and your family in that small village in Portugal. You left school with frustration when your teacher told you, you will never make it in life but that doesn't bother you.

After you went to start a life as a footballer and she told you again, "Ronaldo, football will never put food on your table" but today you can feed as many people as you want. Due to frustration when u defeated Mourinho's Chelsea when u were at United, he had nothing to say than "Ronaldo is Uneducated" but who cares about that?.

Your parents couldn't give you what you wanted while you were young, but as a determined soul, you gave it your all and today, you are something for the whole world to see..

People's comment on you shouldn't weigh you down as you have more to give than what they say...

(2)NEVER MIND YOUR OPPOSITIONS:

Ronaldo seems a man who suffered humiliation from pundits and fans when Messi won 4 Ballon D'or on a row and he only has 1 to his name...Despite all these, you never mind what people say or think and each time a journalist talk to you,all you have got to say is "I will keep on working hard" and now your hardwork pays....

Even though the FIFA President when you won the 3rd wanted it given to Messi, hardwork rewards you....Above all Oppositions, you finally succeeded in being crowned your fourth Ballon D'or.....

MORAL LESSON:IF YOU MIND YOUR OPPOSITION,YOU WILL LOSE YOUR POSITION.

(3) YOU HAVE GOT TO DO MORE:
This is one of the most fascinating thing about you. Even at 31years of age as a footballer, the spirit to succeed never goes down in you..Those moves a young footballer cannot do is still so much active you.You seems one of the few players to win a Ballon D'or above 30years of age and it is a reality you will still win more.

Your life has taught me never to rest after winning but still do more no matter the circumstances surrounding you.

(4) YOU HAVE GOT TO BE HUNGRY:

Your aim to always feel hungry at succeeding is second to none. Even after scoring a hat trick on the field of play, missing a 4th seems like you haven't scored at all because you have always got hungry for success and that is the key that opens the door of excellence for you. Even with an injured leg sometimes, you have always proven to us that you are hungry.

(5) DISCIPLINE PAYS:

Being disciplined is a key factor to your successful years so far in football....Hardly have you had any brawl with your coaches and team mates and so, they are always ready to help you get there. You seems to be among the few players who would not tattoo their body all because you donate blood to those who needed it frequently. What more definition can we give to being Disciplined?...

MORAL LESSONS: Being disciplined will take you to where anything else won't take you.

My Dear CR7, you have given your all for both club and country and so you deserve this accolade. You have been a lesson for every upcoming footballers to follow..You came from a very humble background and now, you have conquered Europe and the World..

You have taught us never to look at where we came from however poor it might be, but always look at where we wanna be. Thank you so much for the many lessons we learnt from your life as a footballer.

We should all remember Wesley sneijder lost it forever just because he lost it once to Messi and never made an attempt again but here comes a determined man who lost it to the same man 4times on a row and never gave up. Today, he has won for himself everything.

I pray to the Almighty to grant you more strength on the field of play and make you achieve more in your Career.
If I am opportuned to Choose, I will choose you over and over again.

PoliticsNigeria At 56: Answer To The Big Question; Is Buhari God? By Olawade David B. by masterpiecedavid(op): 1:20pm On Oct 01, 2016
ANSWER TO THE BIG QUESTION; IS BUHARI GOD? PART 1 BY OLAWADE DAVID B.
Writing this article is born out of the necessity in attempt of the answer my nation needs in getting the transformation she desires and deserves.

Many Nigerians have been asking after the presidential election, why are we still remaining on the same level? Are we retrograding? Where is the change we voted for? Is Buhari the right man? Why are the prophecies our so called men of God told us not coming to past? Should we continue to wait? Where are we going from here?

Follow this article closely as I make an attempt to answer the question with God’s ordained solutions in initiating a national transformation and spiritual re-awakening in our nation. You are free to agree or disagree with me as I take a cursory look at four vital areas of responsibilities neglected as citizens despite how spiritual we claim to be or appear.

The scarcity of God’s power to effect a positive change in our nation is not the deficiency of God in our nation or men of God in our nation; it is rather the unavailability of believers that are committed to spiritual responsibility.

Some set of people promised us “change” even when they are not certain of the kind of change they wanted to offer and we all believed them to be agents of change the nation has been longing for.

Every believer in our nation is the change the nation is waiting for. Until believers in Nigeria rise up to responsibility in all sectors, national transformation is not in view. If we continue to sit down in our comfort zone following the news of economic meltdown, inter and intra ethnic wars and expecting a change somewhere is like breeding a chicken and expecting it to grow tooth.

IS BUHARI GOD?

“And it came to pass, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his clothes, and sad, AM I GOD, to kill and to make alive, that this man doth send unto me to recover a man of his leprosy? Wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how he seeketh a quarrel against me”

We have complained enough, but I want you to know that God is not answerable to the complaints of men. The king of Israel responded to the letter sent to him with a question that our president is also subconsciously asking the citizens of the nation; “Am I God?”.

We have been laying petitions to our president to recover our country from the leprosy of corruption, from the corruption of bad governance, from the leprosy of poor infrastructural and so on. The president is saying to you and I, “AM I GOD?”.

As a reader of this article, you might wonder how the writer of this article know this or you are saying; “Is the writer saying our president is a wanderer?” or “is he saying our president is not good enough for the task of national transformation?”.

It is the commitment and responsibility of believers to engage God for national transformation irrespective of who the president is. Not the person of the president that will save us but the reality of the personality of God in action that will deliver us.

We have hoped enough; we have cried enough, it is time to take responsibility. We have been sailing from one voyage of decadence to the other. We need an answer, we need a solution. Things are getting worse visibly with respect to our expectation.

To be continued…

“I can’t write without a reader. It’s like a kiss- you can’t do it alone”- JOHN CHEEVER

I have come to realize how passionate I am about writing. This zeal is driving me day by day. Many might be surprised or offended with my daily broadcasts on social media. I will be sharing with all and sundry on this article the reasons why we need to read.

I am a ‘writing drunkard’. Writing has the same irresistible temptation for me like liquor has for its devotee.

I sincerely appreciate everyone who has been reading and following our posts. Who am I to take your time? Thank you for trusting my write ups and pieces.

No man is born a reader. Reading is a product of choice geared by conscious commitment. I have overheard people say; “I don’t like reading” or “I don’t have the gift of reading”.

Why do you need to read?

There are words, experiences, excerpts and stories that are summarized in books and articles that would have cost you more than the commitment you make in reading a particle piece at your disposal.
It is important to know that every writer spend more time to put their write ups together that the time you engage to read them.

TO FIND WORDS FOR WHAT WE ALREADY KNOW
“May be this is why we read, and why in moments of darkness, we return to books: to find words for what we already know”- ALBERTO MANGUEL

Many of the words and expressions we find in books and articles are things we might have known but when we read, we are reminded of them. We get the realities and applications of what we already know by reading the write ups of writers.
Often time, when I come across the write ups of other authors, I see them write my thoughts but I see it in another dimension through them and emphasis on what I already know is made. A man can always learn from what he already knows through another man.

TO TRANSFORM THE PAST INTO KNOWLEDGE MADE APPLICABLE TO THE PRESENT
“When a reader enters the pages of a book of poetry, he or she enters the world where dreams transform the past into knowledge made applicable to the present and where visions shape the present into extraordinary possibilities for the future”- ABERJHANI

Reading makes us transform our past knowledge to application for the present and gives us possibilities for the future. Every reader has an answer to his present situations and solutions to their future challenges.

TO KNOW THAT YOU ARE NOT ALONE
“The time you spend reading is the time you spend fellowshipping with the one who wrote the books”- DAG HEWARD MILLS.

Why do men complain about being bored? Why do you feel lonely? I have realized books are one of the greatest companions a man can have. That moment you feel bored and desire to relate with someone, get the books, materials, articles and write ups.
Someone is always waiting to keep your company through their writings. As a writer, I Have discovered over time that the best way to share my time with all and sundry is by sharing my thoughts in writing everyone to read.

TO GET INSPIRATION IN THE TIME OF NEED
“It is what you read when you don’t have to that determines what you will be when you can’t help it”- OSCAR WILDE

We all get to cross roads when we need to make decisions on daily basis. We can always get the bearings for the cross roads from the inspirations and motivations we have acquired from the books we have read over time.
Any man that despises reading is in a long run despising help in the time of need. Don’t be stranded, engage the act of reading.

TO OVERCOME MOMENTARY IGNORANCE
“No matter how busy you may think you are, you must find time for reading or surrender yourself to self-chosen ignorance”- CONFUCIUS.

Many have surrendered to self-chosen ignorance due to poor reading habit. No man can know beyond what he had heard, seen, experienced and thought. You grow in wisdom, knowledge and understanding through reading.
Any man who is aware of his poor reading habit is aware of his ignorance. A man who celebrates his poor reading habit is celebrating his ignorance.

TO KNOW AND LEARN FROM THE SECRETS, EXPERIENCE AND MOTIVATIONS OF THE WRITER
“Every secret of a writer’s soul, every experience of his life, every quality of his mind is written large in his works”- VIRGINIA WOOLF.

You get to know the true identity and personality of an author in his writing. As a writer, I noticed that there are some personal issues, experience, thoughts that I share in my write ups but I don’t usually discuss in my conversations with people.
You learn better from an author through his writings not only by their conversations and lifestyle.

“Readers are not sheep, and not every pen tempts them”- VLADIMIR NABOKOV

I sincerely appreciate everyone who has been reading and following our posts. Who am I to take your time? Thank you for trusting my write ups and pieces.

“Reading is not a gift, it is a choice made by wise men”- ANONYMOUS.

No man is born a reader. Reading is a product of choice geared by conscious commitment. I have overheard people say; “I don’t like reading” or “I don’t have the gift of reading”.

Why do you need to read?

PoliticsAnswer To The Big Question; Is Buhari God? Part 1 By Olawade David B. by masterpiecedavid(op): 9:49am On Aug 15, 2016
