Dammyseyon: If this happened in a sane country, the chief of air staff, the head of the Air Force unit that dropped that bomb and the officers that participated in this operation are all gone for good. But this is Nigeria where innocent lives doesnt count. Does the Air Force Chief still has a job? If he does not resign or sacked, then we are in trouble. |

Stopping trying to over exaggerate Nigeria's problem, jus because u don't like the president... I have nothing to hate about the president. We need a system that works. His approach seems to be in the opposite. That's all. |

Harddiskng: Even if Jesus becomes president of Nigeria.
Nigerians will still complain
Most think it is job of the President to rescue them from their poverty and grow disgruntled if that magic doesn’t happen. What are you even saying? Nigerians are hardworking people. Almost all basic amenities they are providing for themselves. When last did you see water coming out from a public owned tap? A government that can't provide basic needs for the citizens as expected has failed. There's nothing to debate about. |

heysquare: Security chiefs position is always a zoning one if any of the security chief is removed and needed to replace the replacement will be from the same zone and not to other that's why you see that all IGs are from same zone. Except they reshuffle the cabinet then the zoning might change. In this situation where the ex IG was even overdue for retirement, what do you have to say about it. Correct me if I am wrong. I don't think there's a law that says public service appointment is by zoning except for political appointments. Let's not forget that the newly appointed IG is almost due for retirement too. What happened to Frank Mba that was higher in ranking to this new IG? |
