Hello Nairalanders, I don't if anyone experience this from their bank, but that of zenith bank is too much.

Lately zenith will send SMS alert late or next day after transaction is done.

But the one that I totally not comfortable is the charges they remove every week from my acct without notice.

Imagine this afternoon I check my acct balance, I was surprised to see figure changed, I started checking my airtime Bal if I have by mistake dialed bank ussd, and later I logged into my bank app to check history, there and then I noticed I was billed #300+ just for this month sms alert.

I'm thinking of going to their branch to disable sms alert and use only email.

Duty charge of 50 Naira, MasterCard maintenance charge, sms charge, etc are just too much!

Before if you leave money in your acct, at end of month they'll add few Kobo as interest but now they rather deduct and even leave acct at minus.

Imagine, I left 348 naira in acct I didn't use for 3momths, when I deposited money I got debited 236naira coz charges has whipped previous balance to deficit.
