houseofmastiff:
I can confirm to you that they've started selling.

can you give me anyone contact in funnab that is selling the goat

houseofmastiff:
If anyone is really interested in the Kalahari red goat.. You can get nice ones at FUNAAB.. They have a Kalahari red goat project and even crossed some with WAD and SOKOTO RED..

from my enquiry i learnt funnab is not selling they are just keeping it for research purposes

boluwajokosegun:
Boer goats are avalable in Ogun state , d govt brought some frm SA & start selling to farmers in ogun state
But can u manage & feed the animal well ,
Where will you get hay & .straw ..... to feed the animal
It must aclamatize to your enviroment
I made enquiries to buy frm SA & l was advise to buy frm d naija source .
The germaney spiece is better ,that is what is available in kenya , cheaper
May be someone else can help out

can you give me on of the farmers contact?..i need it

MIKEL!....I DONT BELIEVE THIS

Notice to everyone interested in the Boer goat and kalahri red goat, with my findings the goat with the cost of shipping to Nigeria from south Africa is about 80k per one..but i believe 80k is not a small money for all intending goat farms. Expecially if you want to start with 3 female and a male...NOTE : ANY ALTERNATIVE SOURCE WILL BE WELCOME

I hope this is not another way of scamming desperate people..

koolpapa:

nakscin:

i agree with you, i will make my research today, so everyone here too can come up with a reputable farm and have a legit quotation...

I will like to know if we have anyone who is familiar with importation of animal from SA, i mean the procedures and cost .

iyb:
thats a very good suggestion but won't we encounter problems with nigerian customs

Nigeria custom shouldn't be a problem since it will be well documented,i need to get a good farm in south africa that can do that for us,

Babalagzy:
Hello,
Can these goats be reared here in the southwest without problems?

yes

obafunke:
Hello, i'm an agropreneur and I realised that there is a network of farmers where I have my farm but the main problem has been the market. Personally, I will advise our youths not to rush into farming because a fast writer gave a good mathematical calculation with millions all over it, experience shows you will rush out. Agriculture is very big, not everybody is meant to be a farmer, i'm networking with other farmers to sell their produce anywhere in Nigeria and over too. IPresently we have fresh vegetables, garden egg, yam, garri, plantain, radish, cassava, chicken, eggs and goats.
We sell at a good price and can deliver anywhere, my contact detail is emicolsy@gmail.com. Try us and enjoy freshness and consistency.

i need a boer goat and a kalahri red goat..do you have ?

iyb:
My guy i have the same problem. i have been looking for boer goat for a very long time anybody that knows where we can get and the price for the boer goat please help out.

i called Arinze of jovana integrated farm..and he said it cost 100k per one, so i will have to pay 200k for a pair, which i feel it outrageous...so that why am looking for anpther seller

I recent want to venture into goat bizness, but the problem is where to get a pure breed of boer goat and kalahari red goat...anyone with useful information will be welcomed...

koolpapa:

I for one really love my wife, would change nothing about her, and would never dream of looking elsewhere for what my wife can readily give me. Only death will part us, and by God's grace, that's a long way off.

i think you will also do that when her skin begins to wrinkle
