1. I use the metro or subway if not driving with my cousin. A week's travelcard on the metro costs about $30sth and a Month's should be around $114.
If you have an International Driver's licence you could use it here while you rent a car.
2. I had to buy a sim, my Airtel and Mtn sims weren't working, after they had assured me I could roam it. Got a sim for $30 with a $19 monthly plan. Settled for the $19 plan because I could get internet conectivity on the go because the $19 monthly plan only comes with a paltry 100MB data allowance and UNlimited US calls and texts.
3. I'm staying with a relative to save $$$ on hotels or B&B.
You could get very good hotel or holiday apartment deals on airbnb.com and look up reviews on trip advisor.

Great People of this forum. All protocols duly observed, I'm visiting New York for a month, spent some days here already and the outlook has been nice so far, just thought it would be nice to have forumites connect moreso, it's a long weekend to commemorate the memorial day.

Any Airtel subscriber noticed when you dial out or receive a phonecall lately, atimes you can't hear the person on the other end, this has been persistent for the past 2 weeks, anyone in same shoes huh

1.4m for Europe version wagon auto with custom duty down to lagos.

Thankds, this budget cant do it now doew to high excahge rate and custom clearing increment.
That 2003 ES300 is now 1.5m and 2005/2006 is 1.9m.
