On the topic, govt took a proactive decision otherwise there might be a spillover to Nigeria. I am happy ECOWAS has adopted a new protocol to support each other in the event of a coup. If such had been in place earlier it would have prevented the coups in Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger.

The best way to fight corruption is through technology. And Tinubu is on top of that. I fully support the propagation of our culture and our identity. However, there is need for modernization. All aspects of our Yoruba culture that is outdated should be removed. All forms of barbaric rituals should be removed and our culture fully sanitized to reflect new civilization. It is some aspects of our beliefs and culture that is still fuelling young boys beliefs in money rituals and all. Let's retain the good parts and modernize the bizarre ones. For instance, no new king should eat any passed kings heart. Traditionalists should reform the religion like Christians and Muslims have done. But we need to preserve our identity.
