PoliticsRe: Yoruba Muslim Reject Call By American To Ban Sharia Law by Max24: 4:29pm On Dec 06, 2025
What has Sharia contributed to those places that practice it in the North? How much has it added to the GDP of the North? How much jobs will it create for SW youths ?

I actually think I am one of the few southern Nigerians who actually understands this Gumi...

He says somethings but we are listening the wrong way
He is not saying anything. Ever heard of a player playing attack and defense at the same time. The strategy is meant to confuse people like you at times.
PoliticsRe: Northern Governor And Their Ethnicity: Here Is The Arrangement by Max24:
No wonder they wanted to use sharia to penetrate the SW through the Muric guy. The same strategy used to subjucage the hausas. Hope in years to come Yorubaland will not become a Fulani caliphate. The conspiracy is thick.

No one is asking why he was sacked but jumping to conclude on irrelevancies. There is every possibility funds are diverted, unaccounted for or shady deals somehow. There could also be clash of interest between Wike and the IRS boss.
Nigeria is a funny place. Don't be surprised if corruption is querying corruption!

Obi and cho, cho, cho! Why didn't Obi talk like this when Buhari was the president? He is lucky Tinubu is not like Biya, the Cameroonian president.

There you go lol grin grin grin

She gave out 200k to 250 people abi. Meaning she gave out 50m. 50m can set up a sustainable initiative can help them fare better long term
Who will manage the money on their behave? You forget that nah Nigeria we dey. If she hands over that money to others to manage be certain that it will be looted. It's better she gave them individually. Some will spend it well. Some even if she gave 10m they will still squander it.

How will someone with disabilities start a successful biz. The money is good but it isn't enough. They're disabled, gather the money and set up something sustainable that can sustain them till their full life. It's done in sane climes like Scotland, USA, Canada etc.

200k is not what they need!!!
How much is the GDP of Canada compared to Nigeria?

The aim should be something more sustainable. Like a long term plan for these people. 200k cannot do much after a month.
Some people are looking for 200k to start a business.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Meets Service Chiefs, Demands Results In Fight Against Insecurity by Max24: 6:01am On Dec 03, 2025
A president that is in charge. A president that can remove and replace, just within 3 years. Buhari did not touch any of his appointees for 6 years no matter the criticism against them. He pretended he didn't hear anyone. It's great to have a strong but listening president. My criteria for a president is not abscence of challenges but how you demonstrate you are in charge. With this Tinubu has earned my vote for 2nd term. What do I need an Obi or Atiku for?

The Minister of State Defence who protected the bandits many times as Governor. This is the first time since '99, we won't have the NSA and/or the Minister of Defence as ex-Military men.

My first guess is CG Musa.... He was at the Villa today.

The NSA is his ManFriday, it's like removing Gbaja, noooooo.
What about Kwakwanso?

Where was Atiku when Buhari was rulling? He exiled to Dubai? Right? He totally relocated. He knew Buhari can do and undo. No press statement against Buhari then. But now they are benefiting from having a Democrat as president and some obidients don't know the value of having Tinubu as president. How many press statements did Obi release under Buhari?

since 1999. None of the presidents has been a dictator. Such thing can never happen in Nigeria
Who told you that? Obidients were crying for 6months just because Tinubu Fubara, go and find out to what happened to govs Obasanjo suspended/removed. Fubara came back after 6 months. If not for the courts go and ask Fayose, current Oba Ladoja, Alaimiesigha how they survived it. Ibori was jailed outside the country because he supported Atiku against Baba. Fyi, Nigerian presidency is one of the most powerful constitutionally. Just pray to keep having a level - headed president like Tinubu. All the people talking now, why didn't they talk when Buhari was there? Atiku relocated totally to Dubai, Obi was mute, Ndume was mute but now they can talk because Tinubu is largely a Democrat. How many press statements did Obi release when Buhari was President?

Peter Obi no dey forgive. Alaye sacked all Anambra state civil servants who were not Anambra indigenes including Anambra women who married in other states. The evil you do shall follow you around
Imagine if he becomes the president. I remember his excuse then was that there was no money to pay their salaries. Meanwhile he is going everywhere claiming he left money for Obiano , after sack civil servants who were non-indigines. A lazy farmer always uses his implement as an excuse. Tinubu has not sacked anybody and he is not oweing salaries yet they demonize him but Obi that owed doctors for 13months and sacked workers is now a Saint. Obidients are funny people.

Nigeria doesn't have a political tradition of detaining the opposition. If former soldiers like Obasanjo and Buhari didn't do it, why should Tinubu?

FYI, this country is too big, fragile and unstable for a lot of things that happen elsewhere. The days when the opposition was detained ended in the pre-1999 democracy era.
Maybe you have forgotten even Obi as a gov locked in El-Rufai in his hotel room in Anambra when El Rufai went to campaign. If he did that as a gov imagine what he would do as President.

Hope Obidients are seeing a glimpse of what a dictator can do in Cameroon? Despite being a civilian govt , opposition members are dieing in detention. Obis supporters are lucky that Tinubu is a Democrat. No wonder he can easily forgive Reno and still nominate him for position. Imagine what Atiku and Obi would have done if they were in Tinubus position.

Soludo did not succeed Obi, he succeeded Obiano who came after Obi.

The fact you APC supporters always use Soludo as a talking point against Obi goes to show that you APC apologists are "very" bothered about Obi's political relevance compared to Obiano's, which is the same reason Soludo sees Obi in his dreams.

This article has absolutely nothing to do with Obi. There's nowhere he was even mentioned. But look at you agbado hoodlums, palpitating and frothing all over the thread using Obi's name as a talking point.

How do you insist someone is irrelevant but center your entire existence on that person's daily activities even when he's not a serving political figure grin? It really beggars understanding.
Why the fight now, Oga? When did show your certificate become something to fight over? I simply asked for pictures of schools and roads built by Obi in 8 years as Anambra governor and you start yapping. What offence I commit ? Is it not easier to simply show the pictures as evidence instead of posting insults? Na wah for you Obi supporters ooo. So Obi is a politician without evidence!

We have long gone past this stage; this was before the 2023 general election.
Don’t drag us back.

The elections are long over, and once an election is over, governance begins. Tinubu is president, and his policies, masquerading as economic reforms have caused untold hardship and strife for Nigerians. This is what we should be discussing, not a private individual going about his personal business.
i
In short, you want to dodge the question. But Obi is not minding his business ooo. Not with the way he keeps releasing press statements on National issues. Even on Kanu for political advantage. Even on issues that doesn't concern him. So, we can keep talking about him. We know he is contesting in 2027 and we are not deceived. If 20 years after Tinubu left office as Lagos governor I can still tell you 20 things that he did with pictures not to talk of his 2 years presidency. Current pictures ooo. Thank God we didn't vote in a failure. If I lie ask Obis gov, Soludo.

You didn’t read where he said he is taking a short rest from politics, yet here you are gallivanting around claiming he will move to the APC, even though he never said that.

Why are you obsessing over Aregbe and his group when the APC isn’t even prepared for the Osun election? Who is the candidate for the APC?

Channel this energy into telling Nigerians what Tinubu and the APC-led administration have done to deserve being voted for.
When will you show us pictures of Obis achievements when he was Anambra govt. Let's start from there. Kindly show us pictures og schools built by Obi in his 8 years of been a governor.

I'm also grateful to Reno because if not for him, I wouldn't know Tinubu was an international drug baron.

I wouldn't know Tinubu had mouth odor too and so many damning exposes he did on tinubu at both national and international fora.
Hope all the above has earned you ambassadorial position from Obi? Hope it has put food on your table ever since? Or are you doing all these without Shishi? If so, I pity your generation.

What you need consider 1st is major of those wishing for Military comeback are either Genz or naive minds .. what they need is sensitization

Your biggest worry shouldnt be " obedience" .. because the way Tinubu is running Nigeria, if he gets 4 more years we had ending to the ground

I am one of those people that have not praised Tinubu for one day in the last 2yrs nd i can defend my reactions ...lemme ask

Since Tinubu became president What did he meet " Bad" that he has " improved" ... what can we point to that we benefited in the last 2yrs, Is it
1.pms price
2.the naira value
3. Is it the coercion of opposition into one party state
4 . The forceful take over of Rivers state
5. Terrorist are now vips sitting with governors to negiotiate
6. the Refinery re opening charade

What as Bola ahmed done that people are enjoyin but i cant see, help me
How does most of what you typed there affect you as an individual, except you are a politician? I am not one so I don't care how politicians play their game. How does Atiku opposition put food on my table when I don't belong to any party? Only 1 & 2 seems to affect me as a neutral citizen. But Tinubu has explained the rational behind his decisions on 1 & 2 and every enlightened person seem to agree with him. For 50 years of subsidy how has it helped us and develop Nigeria? Tinubu wanted to change the status quo and I agree. Only a madman keeps doing the same thing for 50years and expect a change. And every change comes with limited sacrifice. Even Chinese made sacrifices in past years to compete with America today. Even world - reknown economists like NOI agree with Tinubus policies. Even opposition like Atiku and Obi agree with him, so why are we castigating Tinubu just because it's not Atiku or Obi that is implementing the policies?

Well, we are also disturb people like you exist, people who will always want to cover up or defend " Evil" at all cost ... because awa la wa nii bé" naa our party dey there

People who would go to any let to trivilize and justify insecurity in Nig... it is no genocide it is just mere killings, America tew is not safe , Trump want to steal Nig. resources ..

We wonder how sick can people be ?? since Trump issued that statement .. our military have not made one successful crush on bandit

We failed a General in the bush, and he was killed like chicken Then you expect Jonathan to depend on such govt to evacuate him ...May Nigeria never happen to sane minds speaking against this uselezz govt of bola ahmed
There is such a thing called constructive criticism. I criticize my candidates but without being destructive. I am not an Obi fan but I would rather have Obi becoming the president than military. But the way some obidients wish for military in Nigeria after coups in Burkina Faso , Niger and now E.Q calls for concern. Please criticize Tinubu but don't bring down the country. What will Obi preside over if you pull down the country in the process of destroying Tinubu? Everything should not be criticism which some do here. I know people on this platform that has never for 1 day praised Tinubu but always demonizing him. Even Obi has some good sides. I am only against sadistic obidients , not the moderate and responsible ones.

Some folks on this forum have already exchanged blow in the last few days over Tinubu/Jonathan/Guinea Bissau matter.

.. truly truly, a idle hand is devil's workshop
But you people that always cause the rukus. The same usual suspects. By now even neutral people know them with their sadistic tendencies. First time I see people who are always happy whenever bad things happen to their country. Imagine if 9/11 were to happen in Nigeria today, this people would start to laugh and praise God. Their messaih will rush to give press statement. They don't mind if the roof fall on some of them too. Very Sadistic!!!

What did Abacha do that Tinubu has not done??

If Abacha were president, Obi would have been in prison, Nnamdi Kanu would have got death penalty. Sowore and Nnamdis lawyers that organized the free Kanu protests would have been in Kuje prison. Ipob members would have been executed like Ken Saro Wiwa...get the picture now? Guess you are a Gen z.

It’s people like you make other countries think that Nigerians voted Tinubu
So who then voted him? Ghanians? Its people like you that make others see us as illiterates. Even Obi did not argue Tinubu winning the election in court. Obi agreed that Tinubu won but only wanted him disqualified so that he can be sworn in. Obi couldn't even allege rigging because he knows that his SE votes were heavily padded. Every educated person knows this.

We need to get out of this democracy mentality. Is it about democracy?....or our leaders? Libya had been under military rule for decades under Gadaffi. How was life for the citizens then? How is life now under democracy? How was life in Burkina Faso under democracy for decades? How is life now under military rule? So what really matters? ... isn't it about the leadership and not the label? Good leadership can be under democratic or military rule. The most we should do is hope the military has the interest of the people. We can continue to sit and suffer more and more under democracy... voting the same people but hoping for a different result.
Why did God make not make us as his robots so that we do whatever he wants? Why did he give us the power of choice? Why did the other developed countries like America and Europe adopt democracy and dumped dictatorship? Go and research all these then I can tell you the factors that confuses with Ghadafis Libya. Meanwhile, so you believe in the fake GoodLife story from Burkina Faso? You have not researched well. Even Rawlings had to transition to democracy after his killings. Why didn't he hold on to power?

Always condemning. According to late Murtala Ramat Mohammed; "To prevent a coup, remove what is causing it." The political distabilization plaguing the African continent is simply due to dictators & tyrannical leaders who has bastardized democratic governance.

Meanwhile, they are denying the attempt coup they are still investigating because of political expediency as the northerners are massively involved.
Did Muritala that you are quoting survive the coup against him? Why didn't he prevent his own? You Obidients are funny, talking out of turn. At least Tinubu stopped this one in its tracks. Maybe that the difference between Obidients talking and Tinubu acting. Same way Obi do cho cho cho, but failed to unite his party but wants to unite the nation. Funny Obi supporters!
PoliticsRe: Delayed Benefits Are Killing Retirees — Abia Pensioners Raise Alarm by Max24:
Instead of paying pensioners he is online doing Social Media propaganda and playing politics. He is more interested in sealing the offices of opposition than paying pensioners. That was how Obi owed pensioners and doctors for months when he was governor. I am not surprised. 10 years from now Obidients will tell us he should become president as a Messiah meanwhile owing salaries now. Then they will repackage Otti and tell us he turned Abia to Dubai. With substandard roads we all dey see. Is there anything Otti is doing now that Soludo or Makinde are not doing? But wait for Obidients to tell us he was an angel. Same thing happened when Obi was governor, nothing special. Obi owed salaries same way Aregbe did.
