Anambra had more missionary schools than Lagos but Lagos built more public schools to meet up with the shortfall. Obi claimed there was no need to build more schools, therefore those that could not patronise the expensive private missionary schools were left to go and sell gala in the traffic in Lagos. Does that make sense? Tinubu catered for indigenes and non indigenes in Lagos.

Be deceiving yourself. 15 years after Obi left Anambra is still doing well. What does that tell you? That Obis was never the factor. Where are the roads Obi built then? All washed up. Thank God for Obiano and Soludo now rebuilding all those roads. Obi was an average gov nothing special. Most schools doing well are private missionary schools not even public schools. Anambra indigenes have the resources to invest in best education for their children and has nothing to do with Obi. If an illiterate rules Anambra the kids will still do well.

Obi was not to be credited for that. Anambra had always done well in exams. It did not start with Obi . It has been so before Obi and continues after him. So stop flaunting that as his achievement.
