BASED ON THE ABOVE REQUIRMENT, WHY ARE THEY ASKING FOR 5 MILLION? PLN8412 is not up to 5 million
You might say that it doesn't add up exactly to 5 million Naira but isn't it better safe than sorry. Trust, I know from experience.

The 5 million Naira per say, includes:
* Cost of flight ticket (return)
* Accommodation for 1 year
* Plus yearly allowance of 8412 (This heavily depends on what city you are living in and your lifestyle)
*Tuition for 1 year (Can range from 1000€-14000€ estimate)

Depending also on the accommodation contract that you have which can range from 400/500-1500pln per month (x12 for a year)

So all in all if you were to do an average of things it comes out to about 2.5 million Naira as a minimum for the calculation (with low end tuition fee of 1000€ and 600pln for accommodation)

If that is all that you have to prove for financial capacity then you might or will get rejected. (Don't forget that your program of study may range between 2-6 years so they might want to see if you're capable as well for the following year) They want to see that you have some money above the minimum incase of any emergency which may arise so you're not strapped begging for help.

If you don't want stress and an easy visa journey, you can follow the advice that is given about having a minimum of 5 million Naira for peace of mind.

Though if you feel that you can properly present yourself with the right document of CC limit less than 5mill, then do so and you can tell us how it went later on.

Pls, any idea on medical university of lodz entrance exam format. Then, the application fee, does it precede the entrance exam
Hey,

That’s the university I’m at. Medical university of Łódź, English division.

You apply online and then submit, they’ll send you an email saying to pay 120€ for application fee to eligible for the Skype entrance exam.

In the Skype entrance exam, you’ll have 2 people interviewing you. 1s a teacher and the other an admin person. You be quizzed on 2 subjects (bio, chem, math or physics) depending on what you selected on your application form. The questions are oral, not too hard just basic info you should know i.e what’s an ion, what does the liver do, explain insulin... dress formal.

After that expect an email later on confirming acceptance. Then they’ll ask for legalized results or you can ask to bring it with you to Poland I believe.

After you get acceptance letter and you have to pay you tuition fee before class starts so between 1st-7th October and you pay 5700€ about (per semester)

That’s about it. Hope it helps

Pls what are the documents you will need wen going for visa interview aside ur school results and what question do they ask. We are at legalization stage now.
Hi,

I would advise you check the official polish visa website https://www.gov.pl/web/nigeria-en/d-type-national-visa for the required information you need concerning the documents for submission, its quite self-explanatory on the website. Also go through a couple of the pages back for further insight if needed.

After that, if you still need further clarification you can send a message here.

Hope this helps.

But passport renewal in Nigeria cannot take place hence the PP still have more than 6months validity. What is the best option?
I don't know about passport renewal not taking place currently but the really should be. I'm not sure if you'll have an issue or not for your visa because it is supposed to e valid for 3 months after date of return ticket. I might not be 100% correct but you can check it out.n

Please I want to get clarified on something.
I saw this on the embassy website.
"Your passport and copies of your previous visas – valid for at least 3 months beyond return date – are required"
What does that statement mean? My passport will be expired by March next year and I'm for October intake.
Hey,

Normally a Student National D visa is for 1 year. If your passport expires before have year period. You would be given an incomplete visa. It’s not going to be valid beyond you passport expiring date.

So instead of October- October. Could be October-January....

I advise to renew your passport first before applying for visa

Thanks for this info. Please I will like to ask if you can explain further on how much u showed with your sponsor and credit card.
Me that is going for engineering course, Msc (1.5yrs) in Warsaw. What do you advice. Thanks again
I'm not saying I am expert on this matter but if what provided below helps then its good.

Here's my 2 cents for the credit card limit, the amount should entail at least:

* Tuition fee
* Accom for a year (maybe for entire duration since its just 1.5 year)
* Flight ticket cost
* At least 800 pln per month (upkeep) (for a year or 1.5 year)

If the amount for your credit card limit satisfies those criteria then you're good to go.
Hope this helps small.

UPDATE:

After 4 attempts at getting my student visa, finally I was giving good news today after my appeal. I'm so happy because it's literally been a long journey since last year November up till now. The stress was definitely not worth it but I am happy with the outcome now .

Tip for anyone. Getting denied on grounds 3 for insufficient fund is a really annoying ground because sometimes you don't know what they're actually looking out for. What I will say is that the money you should have should depend on:
* The duration of course (Master 1-yr undergrad -6 yrs)
* What City you're in (related expenses, some cities are more expensive)
* What course your studying : medicine, nursing, engineer...

I wish everyone the best as well and hope for good outcomes

Your financial documents seem good enough. I don't know if Zenith bank issues the standard credit card certificate like Access and First bank which people have been using.
@bolded, you mean you're applying for the fourth time?
Yeah for the 4th time.

Hi, I too was rejected on the grounds of financial means, number 3.

I am appealing again within two weeks and wanted to know if these documents I would be submitting would be okay.

* Certificate of Credit card limit of about $50,000 (in my name) (is there a way that this has too look because the bank(zenith) gave it to me previously in a letter format but stamped?) Is there an issue if this account is in dollars?
* New father's sponsorship letter
* 6 months payslip (the payslip is in euro- would that be an issue?)
* Employment letter
* Referral letter from the bank stating my father has 20 million Naira in account
* Tuition fee for 1 year paid in full
* Accommodation for 1 year booked

My degree is medicine, so proof of amount should be higher right?

This visa process is actually just a stress.

Your insight would be most useful because this is the second time applying and having to do an appeal for the second time again. This time i don't want there to be a negative result. Amen.

Hello,

Does anyone know how the original certificate of employment should look like? And also how the certificate of credit card limit should look like from the bank?

This would be much helpful

Hi,

I’ve applied for medicine at a university in Łódź, Poland.

How much money do I have to have in my credit card for visa purposes. (is 10,000$ credit card limit sufficient, if not how much should I add?)

Any help is much needed. Thanks

Please ehn while asking for that one year contract, kindly drop the info for the connect that is arranging this contract for you. I may need them as well, pls.
Oh, I'm not using any Nigerian contact for this. It's a private student accommodation in Lodz, Poland, which I have booked for instead of my university accommodation. If you're going to be in Lodz, it's called Basecamp Student.

Hi I wanted to ask a question,

For proof of accommodation: 'FOR THE ENTIRE PERIOD OF VISA VALIDITY' does this mean for 1 full year or for when my return ticket would be in July/August?

I am using a private student accommodation and have only paid for one month, they sent me confirmation contract of a period from January-July to use for my visa application. Should I ask to extend it till next year just for the visa or is this contract length alright for the visa?
