Guys I need advice on this matter. There is this girl I know very well. We were very close before and we had casual relationship.( Just sex and no dating) but During that time, I also had something with two of her friends she introduced to me. At that time I didn’t really think much about it because it was all casual but I won’t lie, she’s a very attractive lady and one of the sweetest people I’ve ever been with. We got along really well, and I enjoyed her company. But later I started noticing her lifestyle and the kind of things she does, and I began to feel she is into runs / hookup lifestyle. I’m not judging her o, but that’s what I observed over time. Fast forward, I just found out she is engaged to one of my old university friends. The guy even don propose already. When I saw their pictures I was shocked. This guy is a very good and calm person because we lived together and I squatted in his place for a semester . That is why this thing is disturbing me. Part of me feels I should tell him everything I know about her so he can decide with full information. Another part of me feels I should just mind my business and let her past be her past. What do you guys think? If you were in my shoes, would you tell him or not?

Louiscars:. You’d definitely help me with inspection if you are based in lagos. |
marlow1962:Really? Does the Avalon look much better to you? |
Bluearrow:Yes. Reason why the Avalon 2017 is compared to Toyota Camry of a year above which is 2018/19 |
Smartguyboy:Na for people wey no sabi car though. I always know the years even if they upgrade the front grill. 2016-2018 has a more modern look If look closely. |
I am considering buying either a Toyota Avalon Limited 2017 or a Toyota Camry XLE 2018/2019. Honestly, I really love the Avalon. The comfort, space, and premium feel are what attract me to it, and I’ve wanted one for a long time. But the issue is resale value in Nigeria. I’m thinking long term too — maybe 4–5 years from now if I decide to sell it. Some people say the Camry is the smarter choice because it sells faster and has stronger market demand, while others say life is too short not to drive the car you truly want. If you were in my shoes as a car guy, dealer, mechanic, or seller: Which would you go for and why? My major considerations are: • Resale value • Maintenance • Fuel economy • Comfort • Availability of parts • Overall “package” for Nigerian roads I’d really like to hear honest opinions from people who have owned or driven both.

SEGLIZ:True, infidelity isn’t the worst thing or limited to Nigeria. But the post is more about double standards in marriage — like saying “I cheated twice, but if my wife tries it, she must go.” That kind of thinking is the real issue here. |
These days, I honestly don’t understand the point of marriage anymore. Every Saturday, there’s one wedding or another. Fancy dresses, smiling couples, emotional vows about love and loyalty. But by Monday? One partner is already texting someone else’s spouse. Why get married if you’re still going to cheat? Is it love—or just pressure from society, family, or age? Now here’s what shocked me… A married father of two casually told me: “I don’t really cheat on my wife. I only did it twice last year.” Excuse me?? 😳 So I asked, “What if your wife also cheated—just twice, like you?” His face changed immediately. He said, “God forbid! She would pack out of my house instantly!” That’s when I realized—we’re living in a generation full of double standards. So let’s be real: • If you’re not ready to be faithful, why not just stay single? • Why ruin someone else’s life with your indecision and selfishness? • Why do some men think cheating is a “mistake” when they do it, but “madness” when a woman does? Nobody’s forcing anyone to marry. But if you say “I do,” then do it. Nairalanders, I want to hear your thoughts: Why do so many married people cheat today? Is monogamy becoming unrealistic? Are people marrying for the right reasons? And why are the rules different for men and women? |
I’ve been seeing a trend lately—ladies calling out men in their 30s for dating women aged 18 to 22. They say stuff like: “It’s giving manipulation.” “What do you see in someone that young?” “Why not date someone your age?” But let’s be honest: Back in school, weren’t most of these same young ladies dating older guys? They liked the maturity, stability, and even the flex of saying “I don’t do boys.” So now that the tables have turned, why the outrage? Is it about concern… or double standards? If a 21-year-old woman chooses to date a 33-year-old man, and both are adults—what exactly is the issue? Let’s talk: • Why is it cool when she chooses the older man, but creepy when he shows interest? • Is it manipulation or mutual preference? • Ladies, is this really about protection… or competition? Let’s have an honest convo. Drop your thoughts. |
The pressure on men to get married once they hit their 30s is honestly exhausting. In our society, the moment a man enters his 30s, people start acting like he’s overdue for marriage—throwing jabs, cracking jokes, or outright questioning his decisions. But what many don’t talk about is the financial reality behind it all. Marriage isn’t just about love; it’s a serious financial commitment. And let’s be real—it’s tough out here. Some men are earning as much as ₦500,000 a month and still don’t feel ready to marry, because even that amount barely sustains one person, let alone a family. When survival is the goal, the thought of taking on more responsibility can be downright scary. Sometimes, it’s not even about unwillingness. It’s about survival. Stability. Peace of mind. How do you handle the pressure? If you’re a man in your 30s, have you felt this pressure too? If you’re already married, did you feel financially and emotionally ready when you tied the knot? Let’s talk. Share your thoughts in the comments.

Hello, I am considering getting a new car, and my two options, which I like based on my budget, are the 2012 Honda CRV and the 2010 Toyota Venza. Which one would you advise me to go for as a car expert?

nellystrong7:Thank you so much. With my CGPA, I fall into Category B. Does that mean after admission, I will have to wait for 21 months before I can get a visa appointment at the embassy? How will I be able to start classes while waiting for almost two years to get a visa appointment to enter Germany? |
Hello! I really need guidance I recently completed my undergraduate studies with a CGPA of 4.02/5. I am preparing to apply to German universities for my master’s degree, and eventually pursue a PhD. Since Germany requires a master’s degree before pursuing a PhD, I have several questions that I need clarified: 1. Do I need to gain admission first before funding my blocked account? 2. Can I use an MPOWER loan or any other online loan financing to fund the €8,000 required in my blocked account? 3. What do CAT A and CAT B mean? Are these categories related to securing a visa interview date? Please kindly explain how the entire process works. |

Hello! How can I get a refund from Green Africa airline? I booked a round-trip flight from Ibadan to Abuja for which I paid 180k, but they canceled the flight a day before my trip, leaving me devastated. I had to book another flight the same day using a different airline, but Green Africa has yet to refund my money despite filling out a refund form and reaching out to them via their social media account. What else can I do pls? |

mayford:Smh. Deferred once before with a GA but thanks |
mayford:There is still two months left to resumption, What is the best advise? |
If someone gets denied this month and their school resumes in July, can they still schedule another interview? |
EreluRoz:. Man! I’m trying to figure out how to settle this because my friend has been reaching out to help talk to the girl, but I don’t even know what to say to her. |
My friend has a fiancee, and they’ve been living together as a couple for a while now. They even have a baby together. However, they haven’t officially married yet due to the bride price request and expenses from the lady’s family. Recently, he confided in me about a troubling incident. They all went to a party, got drunk, and unfortunately, he ended up having sex with his future sister-in-law. Since then, they’ve been engaging in this affair whenever she visits. When he told me, I was deeply disappointed and urged him to stop, especially because I have a close relationship with their family. Yesterday, he called me in distress because the sister is threatening to reveal their affair to their family. He felt compelled to disclose the matter to his fiancée before she hears it from someone else. His fiancée reached out to me for advice, expressing her desire to leave the house. I’m unsure how to advise her in this challenging situation. |
