In 22:2 we learned that Jehoshaphat the King of Judah visited Ahab the King of Israel.
Ahab asked Jehoshaphat if he would go with him to battle and Jehoshaphat agreed to (22:4.)
Jehoshaphat asked to inquire from a prophet, but Ahab gathered 400 prophets instead (22:5-6.)
Jehos obviously not satisfied by that asked for a real prophet. Ahab said he knew one named Micaiah, but didn't like him because he always prophesied doom for Ahab (22:7-8.)
After Micaiah prophesied, Ahab was displeased (22:18.)
