Most of our problems start from what we believe about ourselves and how concentrated we are..

I remember when I was called some years ago to pull a gen near my crush's house.. She was there alright and I have pulled a gen a times so many and nothing bad has gone wrong..

That day... with just one pull I cut the rope and I was like what!!

Now, I went home that same night and pulled the house gen very well..

What really happened

I was trying to prove to her that I am strong and was not really concentrated on the task in front of me..
When doing stuff, concentrate.. read instructions and look for signs on how to do it... Don't keep thinking of this or that, but just on what you are doing... That way you will know what you are missing, what could possibly go wrong and how you can do it faster..

Change your believe that you can't do anything right.. But look into your mirror and speak positively about yourself everytime you feel down..Search for Brian Tracy quotes on google and his quotes will help you..

Start learning something..

Not everyone can draw, when I was in secondary school, there were some boys that couldn't draw at all but they were very good with musical instruments, others were good with computer and IT stuff (websites and blogs and others). others were good with graphic designs and others.

Learn something from today... and find something you are actually good at.. Stop concentrating on something you are not and find what you actually are good at..

op if u are to ever learn anything on this thread it should be that everyone has a talent it must not be drawing or singing or dancing it could be maths. communication. cooking. skating. running. teaching. there are countless just look for one and be good at it you will progress remember the sky is not your limit only you can decide your limit

Accept all the things you can't do. I know the feeling. I have been called a lot of things just because I could not do things in a particular order.

Just accept it.

Now, focus your mind on what you can actually do. Increase your skill set. Dwell on one thing at a time. What makes the difference is persistence and determination.

The truth is you have low self esteem, you already see yourself as not being able to do stuffs like regular people do.

Truly, you might have failed in your attempts to do some of the things you mentioned above but the biggest truth is that most skillful people you see out there acquired those skills over time.

About your school works, it's up to you to work hard and pick yourself up. Complaining won't help you. It's not easy for so many others too.

I know you are thinking you have a problem but all of that is in your head. Did you compose and type this post yourself or someone did that for you? If you did it yourself, then trust me, you are ok.

Start seeing yourself differently, acquire skills, life is a process, learn new things, study hard, try harder when it seems difficult.

And you'll see things falling in place for you.

U need to concentrate on your strengths.

When u dwell too much on your weakness you will suffer a confidence crisis.

There are things you are good at doing that u can convert.

Get motivational books and read.


On your academics are you procrastinating ?
For you to have survived all these while, trust me you are not an 1mbecile.

If your level for energy requires that you read a course 5 times before you grab all, waiting till exam is 2 or 3 weeks time might not help you.

Just study yourself. You are much more better than you think.

It is normal and natural that some subject just dnt interest you.

I cnt draw and hate drawing with passion too and had D/E in most drawing related courses in my under graduate days but that does not stop me from graduating as a 4 pointer.

Does not knowing how to draw make me less creative ?

Naaaaa. My core area of specialisation requires smartness and creativity more that u can imagine and if u permit me to be a bit proud, " I am one of the best".

Also run away from those who doubt your ability and rub it on your face. They can Kill your dreams before you catch it.

On the issue of perfection. Screw it ! U dnt need perfection for anything.

All the students you look up to as gods in terms of their academic performance only scored above 70 from 100 to get A and having it in all major courses is what they grade as first class.

So forget perfection and do whatever u set ur mind to do and do it well to the best of your ability.

Please start working on this. If you dnt believe in urself, nobody will believe in you.

Hi guys, i greet you all. I'm just a guy in his early 20's and i don't have a talent, i can't even do any stuff well, i can't fix things perfectly. Example, as a dude i can't even sketch a simple drawing of anything, meet me to sketch a simple african map it will be a problem. The other day i was trying to fix a memory card on a phone, i couldn't, i asked a friend for help, he did within seconds.
I read for exams, yet i don't remember anything. I do assigments in school but i don't do it neatly no matter how i try. I just can't seem to do anything well at all, nothing including even simple house chores.
It affects me alot because someone may need my help on something, i will do it but wouldn't be able to satisfy that person, it hurts when i see the person redoing it or giving it to someone else. Please guys, what could really be the problem, cos me i'm just tired.
