One of my workers just received a call now. They asked for my full name but he only told them my first name. .

They called another, he went and told them where he's working instead of my company and they ended the call.

I thought they might not call them as I missed their call.

I believe they will still pay as he couldn't tell them my surname & as the other one goofed.

Last year I didn't tip my dad, and when they called he told them he doesn't know about anything survival fund as he was a business man.

They called him about 4 days later, thank goodness I was there and had to answer it, when I heard him during the call saying "survival fund?"
They paid him complete 3 months.
I don't even understand what these calls are for.

Many people who didn't get calls was as the result that their phone wasn't available at that time and they didn't call them with any BVN linked number. What If your BVN linked number was lost ? check well if you forget the number you use for registration. Or are you so special that they dig out your BVN link phone number because they couldn't get you on your registered line.
The only reason for BVN verifcation is the confirmation of your bank details to see it its match not your phone number

The last one, I know of someone who mistakenly used someone else number for another person. But the actual person was still called.
In that same group, an old number was used for an employee too, we were shocked when she told us they called her BVN number.

Last batch I was called on a Sunday same time with all the employees. To make matter worst I was in the church i have to go out and pick the call. As soon as I drop the calls to inform my employees of the latest development they said they just called them too. If am correct it's like they called us simultaneously.

I remember one of my employee giving them wrong info when asked if he applied for survivalfund, he said "I didn't apply for anything, I'm a farmer" lol
They still called him back tho after some days, he gave them the right info and they paid him.
The other employee was called 4 times, she missed all and was the first to get paid.
I don't know if it was because I as the employer had already given correct info.

No big deal... just analysis the 1st batch payment and on Monday there will be a press conference on the implementation of the 2nd phase and it was also announced that two other scheme's will be open soon. there were questions from beneficiary's of the 1st batch of payroll support asking the FG to continued the payments since the pandemic is still on and still affecting businesses, they (FG Survual fund Rep) responded that they will look into it and get back to them .. meanwhile let's watch out for the press conference on Monday for details of the implementation of the 2nd batch of the payments. and very important.. the two schemes scheduled to open soon is only for 100,000 businesses across the states and its on first come first serves basic.. once 100,000 registered the portal will be closed.. shikena
