definitelyME:
I will be 21 years old by June this year and I am currently out of school(dropped out for some personal reasons last year) but I will going back to school in a few months time since i gained admission this year.. I still live with my parents and to be honest, the pressure to leave my parents house especially from my dad's side has been much this past few years(although he wouldn't say it directly). Although my father is a very well to do man, with lots of properties I can't even keep track of, he always emphasise on the need for me to go a hustle for my own money and not depend on his(which I know is for my own good and I am currently working towards that).. After much thought to it, and not to forget I am the first child of five children, and two of my younger siblings who I senior with 3 and 5 years respectively, will also be writing jamb this year too seeking admission, I am currently nursing the idea to abandon the admission I've gotten this year and go look for a job. A job that pays at least 40-50k so I can work through out the year and make savings of at least 30k every Month, then at the end of the year, I use about half of the savings to start a business that can run while I school. Like okada business. I wouldn't be riding the okada. I will use half of the savings to buy the okada for someone to be riding and bringing weekly income of maybe 10k while me I go to school...

Note- I have already gotten potential jobs I would be submitting my c.v for one of them on Monday. And If I eventually get the job, I would be going to work from my uncle's apartment (he is still young too 27, without kids)..

So would you advise me to sacrifice one year for work or just accept my admission and go to school.

Do not look for job. Go to school and don't be late.. lolz.

School doesn't stop you from working while in school. Not white collar Job though.

You can beg your dad that you are ready to hustle and work. But you want to go to school first.

You can use admission waiting time to learn laptop and phone engineering. It's very lucrative in school.

Being a student doesn't stop you from Riding Okada. I rode Okada in my year 1 2011/2012. Sometimes till 11pm because of students that went to watch champions league.

I can count upto 10 nairalanders that had being doing business like me while still in school.

Depending on how smart and brilliant you are, it will tell on your grade baba. So know what you are doing.

Noah9:
Good morning nairalanders. Pls I'll go straight to point.

My wife and I have been married for 3 years, God has blessed our matrimony with a beautiful daughter. My wife is so decent, caring and beautiful inside out. I have been a great husband and father to my pretty daughter. I have never cheated on my wife since we got married.

Recently, she barely give me sex. Infact it would take a whole month before I could see Just the color of her undies and I wasn't happy about it.

Last week Wednesday, I committed an unspeakable abuse, I'm so ashamed of myself. I Raped my wife and I hate myself since that incident.

Honestly, I don't know what came over me that particular day, I tried to make advances towards her, she refused and she pushed my hand away. Out of anger I slapped her on her face (she bled from her mouth), I overpowered her and forcefully had my way through. She cried all through that night.

I regretted my actions, I feel remorse, I hate my Life . I have begged her seriously to forgive me but she haven't said a word to me for over 5 days now. She cook for just herself and my daughter, she no longer sleep in our matrimonial bed, she would rather sleep in my daughter's room or the visitor's room, she no longer greets me anymore.

I have never abused, beat or raised my hands on my wife or any woman before. Last week was my first time I did such an abominable act in my Life . What If any one notice we're having issues now, how will I explain to them what actually happened?

I don't even want my little daughter to know we're having issues. I don't know who to talk to. It's a faceless forum that's why I'm sharing my pain here . Pls how do I restore back happiness in my home, I need my wife to forgive me. I'm truly sorry from the depth of my heart and I promise it will never happen again.

Please Help Me.

Do you remember your marital vow?.

If you can remember, you can check it online.

She made the vow to serve you and worship you with her body and you made same vow to her. And signed.

If you read and understand it very well, it's a case of someone hoarding what belongs to you and you took it forcefully.

Morally wrong

Maritally and legally accepted based on the vow made during your legal wedding.

You just have to explain how sorry you are and beg. Do not beg for more than thrice.

Food: if you don't know how to cook, learn to patronize local food joints, amala joints, calabar joints.

Buy your meal while coming back from work.

If you are ajebo, chicken republic combo is #600 ( Rice and chicken )

Nice restaurants also sell solid.

Buy milo, Butter and milk for your slice bread in the fridge.

You too stop talking to her since she's not greeting you. You've begged enough, okay?.

In less than 7 days, she will tell you " we need to talk" . She will narrate her story with tears. Don't be too fast to apologize again. You've done it before. Apologize and finish it up in the other room.

Yinkakolawole:
my hometown is where the port is located, but the government need to widen the old ibeju-lekki road (eleko-folu exp rd) to 8 lane because of the delivering of goods. Dangote refinery projects are using this same road & the road is really bad now, & it is the only exp road that link to the port directly.

That road isn't pad. Expansion work is already being done from after LA campagne tropicana down to Eleko .

It's little by little.
