Business / 6 Most Common Whatsapp Marketing Mistakes That Can Cost You Sales by Mayorex08(m): 2:38pm On Aug 11, 2020
Number Five is what you make almost everyday and number Six will always make you lose more money

1. Not Having Good Customer Relationship

We are not new to this statement "Customers are always right", it's absolutely true. Your customers are always right, not that everything they say is true, because customers lie, but you shouldn't rub it on their face. you should never annoy them.

Business is more than just closing sales. Have a good relationship with your prospects, relate with them, know who they are, check on them, let them know you care for them, engage them. Turn them to affluence customers, people that buy base on feelings and they will always keep patronizing you. Always serve and satisfy your customers!

2. Direct Selling To Your Customers*

Most people make this mistake. When someone messages you to buy from you, what you just ask next is "Should I send my Details?". This is wrong you don't even know the type of customer you're trying to sell to. You look desperate and this will always affect your Sales if you're selling to sophisticated Customers. Price shouldn't always be the first thing you talk about.

Get to know your customer and their problem first. What you don't know is, this helps you to know the type of customer you're having conversation with and if you know the type of customer the person is and the problem the person is facing, you will be able to handle any sale rejection from such customer and even play on such customer's emotions. Price should be the last thing to discuss with your customer.

3. Improper Sending Of Broadcast Messages*

How do you normally feel when you're sending broadcast messages to people unaware? Ehn tell me
You're barging into people's privacy if you don't know. Or do you think it's marketing?

Nope.. It's a frustrating and irritating marketing that can cost you sales. Pls stop doing it. If I'm to be blocking people due to unnecessary broadcast messages I receive daily, I go dey block at least 1 person per day.

Now imagine people start blocking you everyday due to your unnecessary broadcast messages you send to them, how many contacts will you have left viewing your status? You will start loosing potential customers that can partronise you. You know you don't have much views before, and you're still doing things that can make the few contact you're having to block you.

If you're to send broadcast message, do it in a proper way, inform them, let them be aware you would be sending them broadcast message or better still, Let them subscribe to your broadcast message list, so whenever you send them broadcast message they will know they are getting it because they subscribed for it and they won't get annoyed.
