ajuwarhodes:your dirty mind right? |
unfortunately, i couldn't read meaning into all the posts being made so far, anyone who has being current in Kano politics would know there is a long standing feud between SLS and and the Bayero's. i mean why and how would a person of SLS caliber decide the next best thing to do is to demolish structures in his palace. As i type this, the Emir is driving pass... he is definitely the son of his parents.. lol. Sai Martaba Sai Lamido Sanusi

Whats so annoying about homosexuals is the fact that they don't seem to agree with the fact that what they do is wrong |

The emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sunusi II, has stripped the eldest son of the late Emir Ado Bayero, Lamido Bayero, of his traditional title of Ciroman Kano and District Head of Gwale. PREMIUM TIMES gathered that a few months after ascending the throne, the new emir wrote to Mr. Bayero, seeking him to return to his duty as Ciroman Kano and District Head of Gwale. Palace sources told PREMIUM TIMES that Mr. Bayero’s refusal to either reply the letter or report to the palace, angered the emir. The issue however died down when Mr. Bayero was appointed managing director of the Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, by former President Goodluck Jonathan. But when Mr. Bayero was recently relieved of his duty as managing director of the NPA by President Muhammadu Buhari, the emir directed the Emirate Council to write to Mr. Bayero again. “When a letter was written to him again, he neither responded nor appeared in person to explain his reasons. “His Highness first reasoned that the local government of Gwale was too important to be left vacant, and so he elevated the son of Emir Inuwa to be the district head. “And now the title of Ciroma is also stripped,” a top palace source said. Perhaps in order to douse tension in the palace, sources said, the emir however appointed Mr. Bayero’s younger brother, Nasiru Bayero, to replace him as the new Ciroman Kano. A statement by Galadiman Kano, Abbas Sunusi, said the removal and the subsequent replacement were with immediate effect. Mr. Bayero was touted to as the heir apparent of the Kano emirship throne but lost to the current emir, who was then holding a mid-cadre title of Dan Majen Kano. Since losing the coveted seat to Mr. Sanusi, Mr. Lamido banished himself to Abuja and refused to pledge allegiance to the new emir as provided by the tradition. Despite concerted efforts by some notable personalities in the state to convince Mr. Bayero to pay homage to the new emir, Mr. Bayero stoutly rejected. Nigerians have reacted to the development via Twitter. Read comments below: source : http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/192291-emir-sanusi-removes-ciroman-kano.html cc: lalasticala

The Manchester City man played a blinder against Crystal Palace, practically forcing his way into Super Eagles contention. What took the coach so long to come around? Nigerians in every clime, both within and outside her borders, got their wish on Thursday. Sunday Oliseh’s 23-man Nigeria squad for the two-legged World Cup qualifier against Swaziland had just begun to elicit grumbles when a one-man addendum was introduced. Kelechi Iheanacho has finally warmed his way into Oliseh’s heart. As the Twitter handle of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) revealed, this volte face was precipitated by the Super Eagles gaffer’s decision to review the 19-year-old’s performance in the league cup tie on Wednesday against Crystal Palace. The precocious youngster did not exactly put in a virtuoso display, but his contributions were decisive and elegant. First, he ran in behind the Eagles defence, before squaring the ball across the six-yard area for Kevin de Bruyne to tap in. Having set up his team-mate, he helped himself to a second senior Manchester City goal, collecting a cut-back with consummate ease and firing low and hard into the corner. He then proceeded to put a final exclamation point on the result, playing an angled through-ball for youngster Manu Garcia to finish. This was all it took for Oliseh to have an experience akin to Damascus-bound Paul, Iheanacho gleaming like the noonday sun, each stroke of genius a bemused query as to why the rules seem to be bent for everyone else but himself. Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi, whose first-team prospects have improved greatly following a debilitating injury crisis such as only Arsenal can manage, made his debut on the same night in rather more humble circumstances. Boasting only middling grades as it were, he rode the very first bus home, while Kelechi sat on the curb like a forlorn kid, almost an afterthought, his straight-As result sheet clutched in hand. Iheanacho in the Premier League so far this season Having been so insistent up until now about leaving out the Manchester City man, and that for nebulous reasons, it is amusing in the utmost that all Oliseh required was one Man of the Match display in England’s lowest-rated cup competition to turn his head. It might come across as cynical somewhat, but it almost seems the Super Eagles head coach was looking to justify his previous reticence by feverishly pointing at Calling him up the first time around (bear in mind the list was handed in before Oliseh got a chance to see Iheanacho dazzle) would have been a tacit admission of the arbitrary criteria of his selection, having kept the door shut until now. Iheanacho essentially gave him an excuse to belatedly extend an invite and redress an earlier error. A long-overdue call-up will now be looked upon as an act of benevolent concession, when rather this is a player who is, for all intents and purposes, one of the very best youngsters in world football. Granting that he was decisive against Palace, the performance was not a bolt out of the blue, neither did it come as a shock to even the most cursory follower of Nigerian football. We already knew Iheanacho is that good. He did not attain a new level of transcendence in order to vanquish Alan Pardew’s Eagles; he played to his level, at best. So really, what new information did Oliseh glean from the performance, which was not already apparent? If the coach really needed that game to affirm what an entire nation has known for a year, what does that say about his grasp of Nigerian football’s present situation? In truth, there were enough caveats against Crystal Palace to indicate Iheanacho might not seamlessly take to international football. His ball control was somewhat lax on the night, and is something he must improve within a high-tempo set-up, and also when faced with heavy pressure. His work against the ball is also a work in progress, not so much from a lack of endeavour as a recently budding sense of intelligent defensive positioning in the final third. Infamously bipolar, Nigeria fans must acknowledge these imperfections and afford him the leeway to make mistakes. If he still manages to decide games with these foibles, there will be very few gripes, in all honesty. The Crown Prince of Nigerian football, now in from exile, begins his coronation march to the throne of his predecessors. source : http://www.goal.com/en-ng/news/4082/editorial/2015/10/30/16815772/belated-iheanacho-call-shows-oliseh-is-out-of-touch cc: lalasticala

People who are single think they are strong not just because they are able to withstand having feelings but because they feel they can close their eyes to the experience of having feelings. Trust me it’s a beautiful thing to be comfortable in being single because come to think about it people who exhibit this trait are totally not aware of what they are missing ( or they choose to ignore it) whichever I prefer to believe that people who are proud of their single status are pretty awesome. On the other hand, Being single and aware of what is out there is the most disheartening situation a believe a human can find him/herself in, people in this category are very self aware of how pathetic their situation is, we wish and feel there could be someone out there who would just feel for us the same we are ready to feel for the person. It’s a very annoying situation, it mostly happens to those who have had the taste of love before or are emotionally active to feel the need of a romantic bond with someone. I feel this situation is basically what makes love worth it, lif could have been so easier if God had made us in pairs, and you knew the other person would be your spouse or heaven sent blah blah blah, but unfortunately we live in a real cold world where you have to watch romantic movies, see loving scenes, watch your friend talk sweetly to her boyfriend over phone, go to a movie theater alone or attending your senior sisters wedding.. the list goes on and on, with even the most ridiculous of moments reminding you of what you are missing. It gets worse especially when your need for love is centered on someone, you feel you love the person but the person isn’t reciprocating and your heart is crying out and begging for some attention. It gets annoying when you see this person being alone and you try to reach out and you feel the more you try to reach out the farther the person gets from you. I have been in this state and I know exactly how it feels. The truth is that there is such a thing called fate, and the acceptance of fate is one of the best qualities a human can adopt. Some things are bound to happen whether you try or not, while some things are also bound to change as soon as you take steps to effect their changing. With this in mind I would advice anyone who feels he/she is in this state to take necessary measures to effect that change, don’t just complain and nag about how you feel for someone and he doesn’t pay you any attention, go online take advice from experts, do what you have to do, and If it was meant to be it would be, on the other hand if it wasn’t meant to be, accept your fate as it comes. I mean this life is just so simple, put yourself first, we shouldn’t kill ourselves over things we cant have, or we not supposed to have. Ask yourself how about you start dating the guy and you find out he is a two timing asshole, a cheat, maybe a rapist or he got some disease of a kind, lets be practical we have all heard people say “I wish I never knew you”. As they say one man’s meat is another man’s poison, how about if this love thing, which everyone is so into this days becomes the stuff you ll get into and would kill you. In life we are basically a product of our thoughts, use your thoughts well and you can overcome anything even heartbreak. What you need is someone who would cherish you for who you are, who wouldn’t be able to spend seconds away from you (which is practically impossible lolx), someone who believe in you and everything you do. Love isn’t about rush, only fools rush into love, take your time, build yourself into that person you want to be, the right man would come in the right time and if you scared you may get to be a old maid, believe me its better to be an independent old maid than somebody’s punching bag, when someone truly loves you you’ll know, don’t try to force love on someone who doesn’t love you, it has to be a two way thing or else it would boomerang. Life’s beautiful forget about everyone else and whether they wanna be single or not, wetin no be love, explore, always remember you are special, and with this mindset even if you not you’ll be. “The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then those one feel that all is as it should be” Anne Frank |
