The only info he gave me after the interview is that the panel will sit on tuesday to consider the outcome of the interview and make appropriate decision and he did say that a total of 150 persons will be absorbed. The guy is becoming a bit conservative with further info. But hopefully we shall be contacted by Tuesday next week.

Less people are involved again as each stage passes due to screening. Simple.

It is a combination of the current affairs in both CBT 1 and 2. The questions are selected at random and varies with each batch of candidates. Like geopolitical zones, registered political parties, ecowas, un sec gen and so on. with Regard to the selection for this interview, it is solely by stiff competition as par position applied for. For example, for my position, LO I petroleum and natural gas processing engineering, the highest score among us was 68 then followed by 65 and then 60%. one person had the highest score followed by the second highest score and the remaining had 60. We were just five in number. So you might score 59 and you will not be called whereas in other positions your 55 may be the highest score. And so on... there a position that had just one applicant called.

Just questions on your area of specialization and some current affairs. All candidates who applied for same position are interviewed together.

Yes you are perfectly right. But you see due to the high unemployment rate, those who never wished and don't have passion for teaching find tthemselves a safe haven and that becomes their last destination and resting abode and that's why there is so much rot in the system and if not checked, may cripple our educational system.

I had 65%. Well I don't think it is by score entirely as I felt they have introduced one major criteria that is setting us backward: federal character, which is same as quota system. It is well.

I know of my friend that applied for Lecturer officer II PNGP called for 28th.

Hopefully. What did you score? The info I shared after the CBT is exactly what is happening now but from the reliable source that I gained the info rightly said that a total of 250 persons will be called for interview next wed and 150 will be employed. And since the total number so far is less than 250, am hopeful that more invites will roll out.

I think the cut off was around 50% cos I know someone who score above 50% and was invited. Don't know if federal character also used in their selection.

I think the cut-offs should be based on each of the batches because some people already had access to the answers before they wrote. WTF! If they used 60% is used as cut-offs, majority of those who first wrote test B will not get to the next stage of the recruitment. If truly the schl wants to recruit 150 staff, then I think 50 should be given to the casual workers while the remaining 100 should be done free and fair. Anyway, God dey! Depending of God's grace entirely

You are welcome bro. So far a total of (72) from the mail I got and (94) from the other mail received making 166 invited for interview.

The total number of email address in the address details of the mail sent to me is 72. Very sure of this number.

Just like I hinted on this platform after the 2nd CBT that the interview is next week after the 2nd CBT. Jah has granted me this Job. HIS name be praised. For those still expecting, HE will certainly do it for you.

My former coursemate wrote option B and he had 68%.

They don't seem to be organised amd I gathered that some ogas at the top were sending list of their candidates and so the NUPENG and PENGASSON chapter of PTI and PTI management insisted otherwise and that it should follow due process. I suppose in the course of those agitation, they made a lot of mistakes, because I saw a lady who was not sent sms and email and she came and found out that her name was on the list with a wrong email address. Please do take heart there is always of lot of mishaps during recruitment exercise in this country because of vested interest and poor organisation. Imagine when we arrived, they stacked us at the gate and started to call names, after which we had to go to the auditorium and queue for another round of accreditation, after which we were taken to another hall to wait for hours before taking the test. I was supposed to take the test by 8am but ended up writing by 7pm.

There will be no more test. I gathered that based on their own criteria, out of the over 5000 that wrote the first, 918 was shortlisted for the 2nd CBT. I guessed the criteria was test score and federal character. Although I didnt see my score after the first test but I was sure of atleast 60%.

The 2nd CBT has been concluded. Same standard of questions like the first CBT. Except for the foreign affairs but thank God it well with me. I finished on time and saw my score. Warming up for the next stage by HIS grace.

The next invitation is for the interview proper and which may hold next week.

they have not started sending invitation for the next stage. The 2nd CBT was meant to be done on a single day (Wednesday).

Yea, if not more than that because some people gate crashed since they were resident in abuja except for those whose names were on the list but didn't get email or sms.

Based on what my friend told me, he rightly mentioned that a total of 150 will be absorbed on completion of this exercise. He didnt detail how the shortlisting will go. There is every possibility that it is match based on position because attendance was taken and the position applied for was specified.

You are right xrespo. You know the guy in red and black check shirt, what he said in my batch was just score 60. I dont know how they will go about the shortlisting but am definitely sure that it will not be a rigid cut off mark.
A friend who wrote late (9pm) mentioned to me that the PENGASSON chairman said that special consideration will be given to those contract staff that wrote with us. Let's keep the hope alive and trust God.

The average score here I think should b between 38%-45%. Just a scanty people got the. 60% or so.......still on guess things u know . So many people scored 30% or less. God help us.

My friends (5) who had 60% applied for lecturer officer I and II in petroleum and natural gas processing that which I know inclusive of myself and I scored way above 60%. I also heard close to 10 of candidates in my hall with 50% and above. Am not saying 100 people scored that but my point is that from the same guy, I was told that the number of persons that will be shortlisted for interview should be around 250-300, you can see trim 918 to that number.

I dont mean to diminish your score, am just sharing the info I gathered from a friend. Some people who didnt get invite or sms gate crashed and was allowed to take the test. Well I dont have any idea if they will reconcile the names on the list with those who wrote. But whether you believe me or not, based on the info I received, invite will roll out for interview next week. My friend even heard the man in checked shirt behind the server say "just score 60%".
