Please, is there any person here who submitted his visa application either for renewal or not since last week that has heard from UK embassy?
Today is the 8th day after I submitted my application, and my status is still on Your visa application has been forwarded to British High Commission.

I explained to them that I needed a form for short training and they gave me one which I filled. But what is bothering me is that the status has stayed too long in your visa application has been forwarded to British High commission. Is it a normal process?

You are absolutely right. I renewed my visa for tourism in February. And my heart desired place is Canada due to numerous opportunities there.
Last year, I traveled to UK and stayed for only six days in London. People blamed me thats it was a waste of money and that I should have done an IT program that should have helped secure a better job. Personally, I taught that I could do a few days program with tourist visa but I was made to understand that I would require a different visa. I cancelled my reservation and applied for another visa last week Friday, but surprising there is a delay in the process and I am worried. Thats the situation of thing now.

Please, I submitted my application for visa renewal since 3/3/2012 and up till now, the status is still "Your application has been forwarded to British High Commission.". I don't know what this means.

statement of account that show about 670,000 k

I need to renew my 6 months visa for tourism. In my initial application I stated that I would stay in hotel and that I didn’t have any person in UK. I was even invited to the high commission because I included a document to show that my brother has applied for US green card for me. But when I traveled, I didn’t stay the in hotel again because my aunty asked me to stay in her house.
Now I want to renew the visa, I discovered that I have to state where I stayed previously. I don’t know what to write since I didn’t stay in the hotel and I had previously stated that I did not have a person in UK.
Please, I need your advice.

My guys in the house, do u know the difference between the black bag and red bag at UK embassy. Mine was black, but my friend application is in red.
I actually have the visa, but my guy is worried due to the color of the bag that his application was put in. He hasn't heard from them.

My guy don't be discouraged. You can survive even at 60. All you need is to be active. But you must not travel with your wife or child immediately. I know of a guy that survived even at 52 in UK. But I don't know how he did it. The man was even a secondary school holder although he worked with textile company before he traveled. Today, he lives with his family in UK. So you can equally achieve it but only if you plan very well.

Please apart from 8000 euro required for student's visa in Germany, do I still need to show another statement of account from my sponsor

I earn monthly income of about 110k as take home

My friend just renewed his tourism visa without tax cert and with 272k in his account.

My guy, I obtained the uk tourism visa in 2010 with only 580k. I only with to renew with only 530k. Anyway I will wait till the end of the month, so that it will be approx 700k.

so about how much do i need to have, please?

Please, I forgot to include that I have a valid british visa but still single. I want to travel for a graduate program. I could raise up to 1.2m in my account in my account. but intends to support it with sister's company account. I work. she has a school. I'm sure up to 25m flows into it in a term.
