Family / Re: My Wife Is Dating Her Boss. Pls Help Me. by mbulela1: 1:38pm On Dec 23, 2010
the story sounds cooked up.
on another note, how daft is your wife to leave not one but several of such explicit texts in her fone?

This might sound silly, so pardon me;
Dont they have ppl donating to their campaign, like they do during American election period?

Pardon me but i still think the person contributes a greater portion of his wealth to the cause than any outsider.even in America.
Politics / Re: Fayemi Declares N750m Assets •deputy Declares N1.2bn by mbulela1: 1:27am On Dec 23, 2010
I am a cynic (as far as this Nigerian project goes) and i have no apologies.
This man may be worth what he says or not, the truth is that once you become a Nigerian politician, i stop believing EVERY word that comes out of your mouth.
Believing a Nigerian politician diminishes my humanity.
This man is worth 750million after contesting an election (you know how much elections cost in naija) and spending three years in court?
How much was he worth before the election?

Like i said he may be right or fooling us but i am unable to believe a word they say.

can we transfer this thread to the politics section?
the discussion seems misplaced here.

Now Brucey wants him. Not going to happen. Hopefully.
Not going to happen.
about 18months ago, Andy Cole was asked about the brightest prospect in Manchester (united and city).
His son is in the academy at Man city and he was a regular at the both academies and had gist from insiders.
He said unequivocally that he had great hopes for Danny Welbeck more than any other academy player.
On the strength of what i saw, i doubted him but now i know better.
The boy is coming along real well and it seems he has his feet on the ground.

brucey wants him for keeps, fergie won't do that! however, i want welbeck to stay there till next summer. he is developing really well out there. if we take him back in january, he is going to rot on the bench once more and his development will stall. with all the bragging mumuface does here, united have the best kids in the land.
he will be there till the summer.it is a year loan.he and Diouf (at Blackburn).

When did naija turn a strictly HipHop country?

Everybody one be Rap head/ hiphop head. .  . . .complete BS!

i am not a hiphop head and never have been one.
As a music lover it is my considered opinion that this album is not worthy of the excessive hype.
A good album but nothing exceptional and the skits are way below expected standard.

cou-gar:

weird taste? can you compare his first album to this garbage? please, be objective. like i mentioned earlier, it was his brilliance in the first album coupled with your sugarcoated review that made me jump the gun. if he came out with this album as his debut album, his career would have nosedived. he would probably be selling boli and epa in jos by now.

With all due respect, seeking an objective view on MI's work from Eldee is like seeking same from Javalove on Mode 9's work.
it is not an indictment but most men have their blind spots. tongue

i am not talking about his lyrical skills. personally, i see no difference with the lyrics on this one and his last album but the beats are hideously weak. this is a rap album not kanye west's love lockdown. the beats must slam. m.i. needs lyor cohen or swizz beats.for orientation. wack talking, wack acting, wack conversation. especially when some goons were looking for m.i. and they took waje instead. honestly, it was so kindergarten-ish. all those stuffs ain't necessary at all. he overplayed it and he focused more on the drama than the music. the album is a 4/10 for me.
that stuff was painfully long.
it was so embarrassing that i could not listen to it a 2nd time.
M.I has won the hype battle, so his works will never be viewed objectively and dissenting voices will forever be drowned out.
If any other decent artiste had done that prelude or Number one tracks, they would have been murdered by the powers that be.
I hope the hype does not make him settle into a comfort zone that kills his enormous potential.

I like Beef and My bele, my Head.
