GEJ has alot to offer us. But most western countries saw the speed rate of the growth of Nigeria as a country. They planned our downfall through@MBuhari. Buhari has spent more on travelling than in the development of this nation. During GEJ tenure. We hear things, see things, understand things and act freely but @MBuhari tenure, we only hear things and we can't act freely. Infact his rate of his failure is directly proportional to his lack of education and old age. #RespectToGej |
to be sincere. GEJ has proven beyond all reasonable doubt to be the best choice for Nigeria as far as presidency is concerned. We have not up till this level experience any new or improved development. instead we have been taken backward to dark age. Renaissance is all we need now. #Lyingliars |
Jonathan Beats Annan, Tinubu, Wins African Leadership Magazine Man Of The Year Award. -- "...The news was communicated to the former President in letter signed by Cletus Wortoson, former, Liberian Pro tem Senate president and chair, 2015 African Leadership Person of the Year Selection Committee. He noted that the selection committee and the African Leadership Advisory Board placed a very high premium on Jonathan’s commitment towards deepening democracy on the continent. “There is no one best suited at the moment than Your Excellency, to advise the continent’s leaders on the merits of good governance and enduring democracy,” the letter read. “Your popular mantra of ‘one man one vote’ and ‘my ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian,’ is a message that must be preached loud and clear on the continent, hence our endorsement..." www.thewillnigeria.com/news/jonathan-beats-annan-tinubu-wins-african-leadership-magazine-man-of-the-year-award/

The West African Examination Council (WAEC), has offered the Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, free chance to resit her mathematics exams after her gaffe during budget defence at the National Assembly last week. Adeosun had alleged that one of the exams body in the country made N16 billion from sale of forms and other services, and got additional N6billion from the federal government bringing the total to ‘N24billion’ yet remitted only N2million to the federation account. Reacting to the minister’s gaffe, Dr. Iyi Uwadiae, registrar of WAEC, not only faulted the minister on the allegation, but also offered her chance to have another go in maths given the poor summation of the figures. Uwadiae said: “It's not enough to go to the Senate and reel out figures. The minister should know, that what Nigerian students pay to sit for WAEC examinations is simply an operational/management cost, that covers registration, data keeping and management, printing of examination papers, logistics, marking of scripts and production of certificates. And all these cost about N16 billion Naira. “WAEC examination is not designed as a revenue generating source for the Federal Government. In fact governments in the past subsidized the examination fees, just to encourage education. The N6 billion she talked about is for payment of salaries and overheads for staff of the council. “However, we do not know the mathematical formula the Honourable Minister used, when she said the summation of N16 billion Naira and N6 billion Naira was N24 billion Naira. “I think somebody needs to resit her WAEC mathematics examination. And we in WAEC have offered to give her a free WAEC form in this respect.” www.thewhistler.ng/story/waec-offers-free-form-to-finance-minister-after-figure-gaffe |

Thinking about this title, I have been wondering who the focus of this write-up should be – girls or guys or both. In almost every tertiary institution in Nigeria, you find undergraduates of the opposite sex living as husbands and wives. You find a lot of these misguided people in virtually all schools. It is so bad that, often times, they are duly recognised and acknowledged as couples by lodge neighbours, classmates and even leaders of various students associations. Little wonder there is such an award as “The best couple of the year award” shamelessly and thoughtlessly received by students. Like I stated earlier, I really do not know the particular gender to address but let me just keep going. The rate at which girls live with their boyfriends in their various off campus hostels is painfully alarming. Most times, these young girls are very beautiful, with bright and promising future. They cohabit with boys who are their fellow students as roommates. The most annoying part of it is that the misguided girl would always introduce the boy still dependent on his parents as her fiancé. Our society is really sick courtesy of those living in it. These girls collect either hostel fees or house rents from unsuspecting (and sometimes, struggling) parents and end up in the house of a boy. You struggled possibly for several years to gain admission. Then you suddenly became a prayer warrior posting and shouting ‘Amen’ at the slightest provocation. You fasted. You had one prayer point filled with promises of your loyalty and devotion to God if only He would answer your prayer. Now that He has fulfilled His part by answering and granting you admission into the tertiary institution, don’t you think He is expecting you to fulfill your own part, to keep whatever promises you made to Him? Many of you just got admitted into school and once you settle down (especially from your second year), crazy thoughts will begin to creep into your minds. Yes by then, the heat of the rush would have been over; If God didn’t capture you (possibly through the various campus fellowships), boys would have caught you. In my school we even have an unrecognized, unregistered but well offered course . For the guys it is a course that shouldn’t be carried over. Soon, they would persuade you to move in with them. Of course, they will give you one thousand reasons to make you give in to their prodding. Before you agree to move in and live with a boy on campus, consider the reason why you are in school in the first place. What image would you be creating about yourself? Can this boy marry you in case you get pregnant for him as is always the case, or will you resort to series of abortions like many other girls before you? What advice will you give your children in future concerning this kind of things? After school, what next? Will the relationship really lead you anywhere? This write-up is finally addressing the female folk. I did not plan it this way. Maybe it is because they are the worst hit by the grave consequences of illicit sexual relationships. They are the ones that turn out to be the sore losers in the end. They call it school life but they do not realize how foolish they have been till it is too late. You are not in school to get married. Part of the reasons why you are in school IS NOT to get the husband-and-wife experience, to see what it feels like for the boy to provide the money for food and for the girl to go to the market for food stuff and cook. That is pure misplacement of purpose! One guy told me that he was practically learning how to be a caring and romantic husband. Shameless indeed! Then you hear the girl say, “We are not doing anything, we are just roommates”. Yet she commits countless abortions before graduation. Yes, your admission has given you unlimited freedom. Yes, your parents are not there to tell you what to do or what not to do. There are even no blood relatives around, so there is no fear of someone reporting you. But what about giving your womanhood respect and protecting your dignity? What about living in such a way as to have a positive story to tell the next generation (including your children) without your conscience pricking you? What Goes Around Will Definitely Come Around…. Why not exercise a moment of thorough thinking?… – By Bibian Onwuka www.nigerianinfopedia.com/married-at-school-single-at-home/ |

Nigeria Medical Association can't be lying about this. something fishy is around the corner. |
the news is everywhere |
just read the news on www.naij.com Is this news true? Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state has been accused of allegedly collaborating with Kosovo, Turkey, Croatia and other countries to carry out human organs trafficking. This accusation was made by the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), through the chairman of the Private and General Medical Practitioners in the state, Dr Philip Njemanze, Nigerian Pilot reports. READ ALSO: Okorocha Sacks Over 3,000 Civil Servants In Imo State Njemanze, who spoke during a press conference after an emergency meeting of the association in Owerri, the state capital, said: “For the first time in human history, a government has declared itself an organ trafficking cartel. Imo state government is using the state health facilities to facilitate organ trafficking network. “Foreign collaborators of the state government from Turkey, Kosovo, Croatia and others are already here in Imo to perfect creation of the network. It is an international network with Rochas as its local head. A former prime minister of Kosovo is the head of organ trafficking in Europe and he is a friend of Okorocha.” The aggrieved medical practitioner also alleged that Governor Okorocha’s recent trips to Turkey, Kosovo, Croatia and other Latin American and Asian countries as well as the building of the new 27 general hospitals in the state, are testament to the fact that the governor is party to organ trafficking business in the state. When contacted, Sam Onwuemedo, the governor’s senior media adviser explained through a text message that the allegation “is an old story that is being handled by the DSS.” This allegation is coming following reports in the state that a refusal of the governor to recall the 3000 workers he allegedly sacked will lead to a total shutdown of activities in the state. According to the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), there would be a total shut down of Imo state once the 14-day ultimatum issued to the state government to recall the sacked workers and tackle their unpaid salaries and other benefits expires. President of Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG), Mr Igwe Achese, a member of the 6-man action committee set up by NLC to handle the Imo crisis, told Vanguard that all measures had been put in place for the planned action. |
