So I finally flashed miuipro on my note4x, these re the few things that seem out of place to me
CONS:
Complicated Homescreen customization.

No Google apps except playstore.

Chinese and Russian language here nd there.

No playing music widget and icon view switch on recent Recent drawer.

Lacking Auto arrange icon on the home screen as can see mine is scattered.

Uploading pics on nairaland through stock browser is a big problem.

Unwarranted system loading, to enter file manager app u go wait till e boot finish like windows 98 (even the ram&CPU info dey boot self 2nd pix)

Most of the backups I made were useless with system backup, my important whatsapp chat history gone(this one pain me pass)

Few glitches during activities.

Some follow come tweaks don't work.

No update option in the settings.

Running on miui 9 beta version.

P:S: Only downside is the screen readability under sun has been greatly diminished. But shaded places still post fantastic results.

m glad. I rarely take notice of the readability defect, as long as durability is assured. Mine is still blazing despite months sef

Lazy flasher is not important, Bro.
All Xiaomi phones that I came across were flashed and rooted successfully with the above method.

lazy flasher is important o. if u want the twrp not to revert back to the original recovery when u boot into system, u need to flash lazy flasher to make it stick to the memory. I discovered this through the hard way after several attempts.
