Session 1
The Basic HTML Page Structure
An HTML page must have this structure for it to be called an HTML Page.
<html>
<head>
<title> </title>
</head>
<body>
</body>
</html>
NOTE: To type any HTML content, you'll use a text editor( explained in a previous post ).
Using Notepad:
1- Click on the Start menu
2-Click on All Programs
3-Click on Accessories and then Notepad
Using Notepad++ :
Steps 1 and 2 above
Click on Notepadp++
Using TextEdit:
Open TextEdit from the Applications folder.
To save as an HTML file:
1- Click on File in the properties bar.
2- Click on Save As
3- In file name type in a name that is relateted to the document and also one you'll remember.
4-Use the .html file extension to save it as an HTML file.
To View the Page in a Browser:
1- Open your browser.
2- Click on File in the properties bar.
3- Click on Open
4- Select the file
TIP: Double click the file in its source folder and it'll be opened automatically by your default browser.
Before we treat the <html>, <head>, <title> and <body> elements in details, we need to treat a very important aspect: The <!DOCTYPE> declaration.

The crave for junk food is now increasing among nigerian girls.Take a naija lady out today and the first thing she says is that you should take her out to Mr Biggs,Tasty fried chicken, Mcdonalds or Burger Kings.Their excessive indulgence in junk meals has scarred their physical appearance.Many nigerian girls today now have pot bellies,stretch marks,huge bag of fats around their waist and what have you.Take a trip to any nigerian or foreign universites and you would see many of the young female nigerian undergraduates with protuding tummies due to their high indulgence in junk.Junk meals has also affected their bowel movement hence many now have very bad bowel movement.They give very messy farts and they visit the toilet once in a blue moon.Eating fruits and vegetables is alien to the average nigerian lady but daily consumption of junk meals like french fries,hambugers,donuts,chicken pie is now a routine for them.Now there"s nothing wrong eating junk food once in a while but making it an everyday affair is bad.Junk food is evil,junk food consumers are liable to die young.

Job Description
The Challenge:
As our Receptionist, you will be the first impression that our visitors receive of the company, setting an important tone for how the rest of their visit to our office will go.
You will also have the chance to build relationships across the company as you seek to aid and assist them in whatever is needed to ensure we run as smoothly as possible.
This position will rely heavily on your superb ability to be punctual and reliable. If you have a Bachelor’s degree, and are friendly and outgoing, Brand Footprint could be the place you’ve been dreaming of!
A Day in the Life:
Warmly greet and entertain job candidates, vendors, partners, clients and prospective clients as they enter the building and facilitate a smooth and timely transfer/hand-off to relevant departments
Monitor the physical entry to the building during open office hours (9:00 am to 5:00 pm)
Answer inbound phone calls and transfer calls with pertinent information to appropriate parties (as necessary)
Manage security badges for employees and visitors of Brand Footprint
Manage shipping and receiving of packages arriving to Brand Footprint
Assist the facilities department as needed with various tasks
Assist in company-wide communication to employees
Take inventory and manage ordering and stocking of office supplies
Assist in enforcing appropriate security protocol
Ensure complete confidentiality of employee and business information
Competencies:
Organizational support, policies and procedures, adaptability
Attendance/ Punctuality; dependability; commit to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals
Listens to others without interrupting; keeps emotions under control; speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
Three years customer service experience, in a corporate environment preferred.

Consistently demonstrates professional demeanour, appearance and attitude.
Able to appropriately handle confidential and highly sensitive material.
