My wife went to a bookshop last Saturday and none of the books recommended for our children was available!

Schools (especially primary schools) won't approve popular books by established publishers like Melrose, Macmillan, AFP etc. Rather they will recommend books by obscure authors who go about hustling their books from school to school in cement bags or Ghana -must-go.

You therefore have no choice than to buy from the schools.
