Elusive001: Which cashless policy is he talking about?
Are not in it already?
What's the maximum daily withdrawals from ATMs?
Why do people patronise POS machines and pay naira to get naira? 100% for you. Is the policy not already in place? I thought Yul was daft until I saw the number of commenters toeing his line of thought. May be they want a replay of Emefiele's sudden and total wickedness. |

Education › Re: FUTA Student Seeks Help As JAMB Flags Admission ‘seven Years After UTME’ by mctech(m): 1:39pm On Jun 29, 2025 |
Even the great OAU once had a saga like this that year: fake admission list!
Of course their staff perpetrated it only that it was detected on time and the affected students were not allowed to register or resume at all.
This guy fell victim of admission racketeers in FUTA. The school itself never detected it, or should I say the racketeers patched things up real good, only for JAMB to detect it much later.
Who is the culpable: the school. Normally, in my alma mater they verify results in the third year and detect fake admissions and O level results. This is too late too, in my view. |
Politics › Re: Tinubu Signs Bill Granting States Full Control Over Electricity by mctech(m): 4:01pm On Jun 28, 2025 |
Good. Now states can develop at their own pace.
Dapo Abiodun spent billions of Naira to build an airport which is surely an exercise in futility.
If he had spent all that money on electricity the state would have been better for it, being heavily industrialised. |
Politics › Re: Tinubu To Reinstate Fubara — But With A Condition He Won’t Seek Re-election by mctech(m): 4:15pm On Jun 27, 2025 |
I said it.
Fubara needs to agree to every term and condition as his supporters and party are weak while Wike is getting stronger.
Otherwise his frustrations will increase with no one to help, not even the courts.
RIP to Fubara's political career. |
Politics › Re: Wike And Fubara Talk About Peace In Rivers by mctech(m): 1:25pm On Jun 27, 2025 |
The suspension Fubara got has cleared his head that his supporters and indeed the PDP are too weak to protect him and he had better mend fences with Wike and agree to his demands, however selfish they are, or the frustration may continue.
I'm not taking sides with either of them but clearly realise that Wike is the much stronger side in this tussle and will surely flex his muscles to the maximum. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Iranian Missiles Successfully Intercepted, no Casualties - Qatari Government by mctech(m): 8:17pm On Jun 23, 2025 |
saraki2019: Look closely at what’s really happening here. The sudden strikes on US bases in Iraq and Qatar aren’t just random acts of aggression—they’re a calculated response to decades of covert US interference in the region, especially the repeated attacks on Iran’s sovereignty, including those nuclear site strikes. The US has long been the puppet master destabilizing the Middle East to maintain control over its resources and geopolitical influence.
Now, notice how the mainstream media conveniently rushes to label Iran as the aggressor without questioning the legitimacy of Iran’s right to self-defense. The footage of missiles being intercepted over Doha? That’s likely exaggerated or staged to minimize the perception of Iranian strength and to justify future escalations by the US and its allies.
What if the explosions heard in Doha were from defensive systems deliberately triggered to create panic, while the real damage and message from Iran remain understated? Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have historically been meticulous in sending precise, strategic signals rather than reckless destruction. This show of force is Iran asserting it won’t be bullied, signaling a shift in regional power dynamics that the US desperately wants to obscure.
This isn’t just about missiles; it’s about exposing the hypocrisy of Western “peacekeeping” rhetoric. Iran is standing up to decades of covert operations, economic sabotage, and illegal strikes on its territory. And the silence or skepticism in Western media about the true cause behind this retaliation speaks volumes.
Keep watching the narratives—they’re designed to distract from the real story: Iran is fighting back against imperialism, and that is the truth they don’t want you to see. ? Iranian Ambassador to Nairaland, we have heard you. |
Travel › Re: Ogun State Installs Aerodome Lighting At Gateway International Airport by mctech(m): 8:27am On Jun 23, 2025 |
SmartPolician: Only three airports are viable in Nigeria: Lagos, Abuja and Kano. The rest don't generate enough money for sustaining them. I just hope this new project doesn't add to the list of unviable airports. It definitely will. What is the economic development of Isara/Remo? What is the population of the people of the place? The airport is not only a collosal waste, and a misplaced priority but also a misuse of public funds. Amosun gave us roads and we are thankful for it. Dapo will go down as the worst governor in the history of Ogun State. |

Goldbw122: It's a pity. In other countries, they celebrate great, innovative achievements—things that break real records in fields like chemistry, transportation, and countless other inventions you wouldn't believe. But here in Nigeria, we celebrate things that aren't compulsory, things that are, frankly, nothing to write home about. Exactly my thoughts. And to think someone who is serious minded enough to become a professor supported the shenanigan and even donated money. |

What I want to hear is that Burkina faso and other Black African countries are self sufficient in food production. Development starts with having a well fed Nation That will be difficult to do because they have isolated themselves. Where will they import farm machineries and agro inputs from? Even neighboring ECOWAS countries may not be able to help or even trade with them for fear of sanctions by the world powers. I really hope they are not standing alone like Natasha. |
