| Education › Solution To The Crisis In The Nigerian Higher Eduacation System by mctech(op): 11:46pm On Sep 14, 2010 |
Our higher education system was ranked the sixth best in the world in 1976. However, it is being bedevilled by a wide range of problems today. Less than 20% of the more than one million students who write UTME or WASSCE annually eventually get admitted. Indeed, as I asserted in one of my essays, "the amount of talent being buried in Nigeria is sufficient to sink the country". The struggle for admission has started once again. Fellow Nigerians, how can we break this cycle of evil? |
