staga: The annual interest rate is 7% (i.e. interest rate for 365 days).
Interest = (principal X rate X time)/100
So let us take your principal is $1000. The rate is 7% and the time is 1 year (i.e. 1).
Interest amount = (1000 X 7 X 1)/100, = $70
$70 is the interest for 365 days. We can use 360 days for convenience sake.
90 days is a quarter of 360 days. Therefore, your 90-day interest amount will be a quarter of $70, which is $17.50.
So your 90-day interest on $1000 is $17.50.
These investments typically favour those with huge capital. So let us say you have access to $100,000 (N46,000,000). Your interest for 90 days will be 100 times the calculated amount, which is $1,750.
Typically, the bank or crypto platform is taking your money and doing business with it, and compensating you with 7% returns on it. They know they will make far more out of it than you can because they have access to several money making channels.
These investments are not known to be high-paying. Their benefit is in the assuredness of the returns. Some people like it that way. I personally do not. I have turned a $67 gold account into $250 in a month of trading. I also used a $100 account on Deriv.com to milk N20,000 every three days in December, which is where I got money to send to my people for Christmas as I did not want my primary earnings disturbed.
So that is it. Some like chicken boiled, some like it fried and some like it roasted. I hope my explanation helps. Thank you.you jst made it a lot easier. So how did you Use $67 gold account into $250 in a month of trading and $100 account on Deriv.com to milk N20,000 every three days in December? Some of us are new to trading pls help |

Or call their customer care if that didn’t resolve it. ok thanks. |

gamaliel9: When i was researching on US stocks,i was so happy seeing monthly and quarterly dividend stocks....i went to check further and found that if you do a proper due diligence...you can be earning weekly dividends based on company stocks you bought and particular week that they pay dividend in a particular month. That is, there are stocks that pay first week in their quarterly dividends, some second week, others third week and so on...in January,May,August and December etc...you have to find particular month and week each stock pays...from there you buy in such a way that each week..there is a stock that will drop something in your account......12 stocks that pay quarterly can get you this. Good job. Drop good examples of the ones that pay dividends weekly |

OakPearl: Wow! You bought Tesla?...awesome. Am so happy for you bro. I hesitated a bit thinking the coronavirus scare will depress it like all other US stocks. How wrong I was. Tesla closed today at $963.22, that is a whopping 23.49% ($183.22/share) gain from yesterday's closing price! So excited for you. Wow I'M LEARNING FROM THE GURUS. KEEP IT UP, GUYS |

OakPearl: Dear Ibrahim505, You can trade real US stocks using any of the following android apps: 1. Trove 2. Chaka 3. Bamboo.
I use Trove and have no reason to switch just yet. I cannot see my trove card details. When I click on show details, they tell me an otp has bin sent to me, I should enter it, but no space to put the top and secondly, the top never comes. please any idea why this is happening? |

OakPearl: Good evening and happy new year to you all. After months of ruminating over this idea, I am glad to manage the time to create a tread like this. This tread is to further open Nigerians and foreigners alike who have the same passion of wealth creation via investing in the United States stock markets. As you may know, the market in the US is mirrored by the indices such as the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), The Standard & Purse (S&P) and the NASDAQ. The whole essence is to have a pool of both inexperienced but interested would-be investors, and experienced resource persons who are willing to give back to the society by making informed analysis and opinions on the developments in the world markets and how members of this forum can make informed investment decisions accordingly. I have tasted a bit of this market and can confirm that the world is a global village and that anyone can trade in the US market and make real US dollars from profits made. For instance, I took a good look at the newly listed company called Virgin Galactic with thicker symbol (SPCE) and bought some shares at $8.20 on the 9th of December 2019. After watching it for a while and doing some more due diligence, I bought much more on the 10th of December 2019 at $9.23 as it kept rising. As I type this piece to create this tread today the 4th of February 2020, it is trading at $19.56 per share! And am not a genius.
Gentle men and ladies, we can make a lot of money if we pool our wealth of knowledge and turn it into tangible financial cash cow. This is not a get rich quick scheme, never a ponzi scheme, neither is this intended for any sort of internet fraud. Wealth requires hard work (mental and intellectual) mixed with a good dose of patience. I believe we are very many out there looking for legitimate source of building wealth. This is just one more avenue we can utilize to team up together to accelerate our financial freedom. Knowledge they say is power, but until acquired knowledge is applied, there can never be power.
Therefore I humbly declare this forum open to all chartists, fundamentalists, and freshers alike. Lets keep it simple, no fighting or bullying , be of matured conduct, engage intelligently, add some humour, have lots of fun and of course make money together in the process. Wow...the Dow has already jumped 500 points today , rebounding from the slide caused by the coronavirus in China! Let me see how this reflects on my portfolio.

Mich45: Hello everyone, First of all I want to thank Codedboy95 and everyone who has contributed useful info in this thread. Shout out to qtguru, DrLevi, Pocohantas, N2B2 and other amazing persons for chiming in your experiences and tips.
I created my Upwork account in late July but I didn't take it seriously as at then, I never applied for jobs. Flash forward to early this month when I stumbled across this thread I read the whole thing at one go and committed every piece of info and advice that was shared into setting up my profile. I'm particularly grateful for the tips on proposal writing and job bidding. I got my first job after sending my first batch of proposals! I guess I was lucky to have found this thread. May God bless you all in million folds.
I got my job in technical writing by the way. I'm writing articles on React for an open-source company called Refine. I have finished my first milestone and the client has decided to let me on another project.
Here's my Upwork profile for those who might be interested. It's not perfect and I'm open to suggestions to improve on it: https://www.upwork.com/freelancers/~018fdfcc6a0ebe690a Congrats man. We are happy for you. I hope to get my first job soon F |

pocohantas: You Just Have To Be Good At Even Supposed Easy Jobs…
I have gotten to learn that no job is as easy as we think. You only think it is easy because you are not required to do it professionally and you see someone skilled in it doing it effortlessly.
Many people jump into customer service because they think it is that easy, but they can’t address customer complaints like a professional. A Nairalander asked the prospects for a remote customer support officer in Nigeria and this was my response to him… please how do I create a google slide of bespoke customer service responses to various situations. DELAYED DELIVERY, MISSING ITEM, DAMAGED ITEM, REQUEST FOR REFUND…Close it with your name. pocohantas: Good morning Hustle!
The courses I took were on project management tools and that was because I couldn’t find free in depth resources online. I am sure there are free resources on Zendesk that would suffice for a starter.
However, you can go ahead and buy just 1 if you have all the resources to. I would recommend the first. Ensure the tutor isn’t an Indian please.
I don’t have courses on customer support. I am not even in CS. The only customer support role I got was the one that pursued me fast fast.
Nah, I wouldn’t be mad. I knew I could always count on you my friend. Thanks a million times. |
