Good books on the basics is where to go but you must be very careful about the book, you must see that it is focused on what you want but in a simplified way.

Act fast if you can, if you have a backup of your site and has access to your domain account, you should move immediately or if your site is new, you may forget about the old one and set up a new one and then direct your visitors to the new site. Let me get this right, is there anyway you can log into any of your account with them? It must not necessarily be the WHM. I just logged into and solved a problem for somebody here that has a reseller server with them. So they cant really be that bad. Haven't they responded to any of your tickets?

Another thing you can do is to request a transfer of domain name to another registrar and complain to ICANN about them. If i were you , since you are having this terrible experience with them, i would suggest you move to another domain registrar and then another hosting company.
It is always safe to register your domain and server with different companies.

you dont need cpanel to point the domain, you need your account at the domain registrar to do this, is your domain registered by another registrar?

Do you have backup of your site, all you need to do is point the domain to my server and then upload your backup again and your site would be online, what type of site are we talking about here?

A good host should be able to assure 99% uptime and fast response to tickets, anything other than that is not acceptable in the hosting industry. I would urge you to move to another host immediatey. If you want i can offer you free hosting for 1 month. All you need to do is move your site.

Learning WHM is very easy, it's no rocket science, that's why i'm offering a free lecture on the basics. But you are right, it's good to pay for something you have good knowledge about. You have to make sure it will serve the purpose.

1 week is not enough time but you can get the basics sorted. Web designing is like any other profession, the more you practice , the better you become. You will need serious dedication to it if you want to compete in the industry.

Do you have enough credits in your nonoh accounts?

I think the training is quite expensive depending on the course but be ready to part with atleast 400,000 naira.
