I think power generation is actually in d exclusive list just like natl Defence, police, aviation, customs, state creation etc.

Infact almost all critical components of development in Nigeria is in the exclusive list. It's all intended to besically to gather more power n control in d center so that no matter how any region or state pushes, other week regions will be carried along.
It's actually counterproductive now.
That's y many bouyant states are not really interested in providing there own power.
Because if u generate? U can't distribute it urself

Any, what do u expect when the Constitution was literally written by a northern controlled military.
Yeah. they did this so that we all can move at their pace and level. because if other states are allowed to grown, then we would see the real reason why Nigeria should have never been a Nation.

Muhammadu Buhari is the Nelson Mandela of Modern Nigerian Democracy.

From a young boy who lost his father at four years old, and was raised by a poor widow, You can call him the hope of every African child, You can call him the Abraham Lincoln of Modern Nigeria Politics or Nelson Mandela of modern Nigerian democracy. But I will call him the Napolean Hill inside every African dreams of never giving up, that everytime you fail, never stays down, you can always fight back to life.

A man who fight back to life the serious medical problems that almost kill him in his first tenure where he spend months in hospital in London, even after figting an ilness that will have buried an ordinary man, rumours had it that one of the doctor in london in charge of his treatment call him a great fighter and not a quiter.

A man who spend 11years in shadow battling out the might of PDP for over a decade, before he actually fight back to light .You like him or not, He his a man who has re-define the Nigerian Politics as the first man to defeat an imcubent President in Nigerian History.

Muhammadu Buhari GCFR is a Nigerian politician currently serving as the President of Nigeria, in office since 2015. He is a retired major general in the Nigerian Army and previously served as the nation’s head of state from 31 December 1983 to 27 August 1985, after taking power in a military coup d’état.

Muhammadu Buhari was born to a Fulani family on 17 December 1942, in Daura, Katsina State, to his father Hardo Adamu, a Fulani chief, and mother Zulaihat. He is the twenty-third child of his father. Buhari was raised by his mother, after his father died when he was about four years old.

The term Buharism is ascribed to the Buhari military government. He unsuccessfully ran for the office of president of Nigeria in 2003, 2007, and 2011 general elections. In December 2014, he emerged as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the March 2015 general elections. Buhari won the election, defeating the incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan.

This marked the first time in the history of Nigeria that an incumbent president lost to an opposition candidate in a general election. He was sworn in on 29 May 2015. In February 2019, Buhari was re-elected President, defeating his closest rival Atiku Abubakar by over 3 million votes.

Buhari has stated that he takes responsibility for anything over which he presided during his military rule and that he cannot change the past. He has described himself as a “converted democrat”.

If you have been on criticism press journalist side like me, you should pause and take a look from different angles like I am doing now so we can all focus on next four years of developing our dear country.

I believe in Nigeria, I believe in African that
with Buharism we can be on the right parts of development.

You may not be a Buharism like me but
Nigerians have choose him through their
vote. clearly showing we must work
together to move forwards together.

bro..i wont lie to u...ojukwu made a mistake at the begining and it was hard to correct later in the war...

But let me ask u...do u think things would have turned out better for the east and west if ojukwu and awolowo teamed up in that fight?

Remember that no matter hw u hate the igbos....igbos didnt come together and decide to do a coup. Infact the igbos who were involved in that coul were mostly living in north and lagos at the time. And remember that wat started the war is wat is currently happening in middle belt whr hausa-fulani are killing people while the president is acting like the situation was out of his control.

Take a few minutes and imagine where we would all be nw if ojukwu and awolowo decided to declare south nigeria republic. I dont blame ojukwu for seceding...he was not zik who was for one nigeria...but i blame awolowo for not seceding as well. The reason is because had awolowo seceded...the north would not have won. They would just be another west african poor country struggling to enter into south nigeria
whether he made a mistake or not is really not the issue. he took a decision and thats what leaders do. at that time it was the best to avoid more blood shed. you can imagine how many people were killed even before the war started. as a leader how would you have felt?? The annoying things is that he actually dialogued for peace but we all saw how that went. no what annoys me is when people come and put the blame of Nigerias woes on the Igbos. going by the body language of the North and their relationship with the british, how long would it take before there was serious crises?? The British created this belief in them that they own Nigeria and manipulated the size of the North and created a fake census with an over bloated population size for them. that was in the 50s. The war was just the avenue for the North to completely break the powers of the Igbos in the western Region with the help of the British who was protecting its interest. nothing more. we are right now heading in the same direction. until our future is decided by us. and i mean every ethnic group must agree to be a Nigeria or choose a separate path we are just postponing the dooms day.if they like let the Igbos be their problem while the Hausa fulani goes ahead with their secret plan of domination a continuation of what their fore fathers had in mind.

Lmao.

It's either you're a political neophyte and you are just choosing to be dishonest. Was it not the Ibos who had formed alliance with the north to conspire agianst Awolowo? So what exactly are you saying?

Besides, Awolowo and Yoruba weren't scavenging in the North nor adamant to have want to drag the Northerners land with them unlike the Ibos, so what nonsense are you saying? Awolowo and the Yorubas had never overstepped their boundary. They respected the North and gave them their boundary. All what Awolowo had wanted was to govern the affairs of the Yoruba and nothing else but Azikiwe was envious of him and the Yorubas at large. Azikiwe and other Ibo leaders went ahead to conspire agianst Awolowo and landed him in prison. Even Akintola was even calling Awolowo for being a dunce because Awolowo would rather want to be alone than to allign with the North which Akintola wasn't o support of because he had seen how Yorubas had been sidelined while the Ibos who had alligned with the North were feeding fat and getting into many political posts and all. If your stupid ancestors hadn't alligned with the North, Awolowo wouldn't have been jailed. Same thing happened with Abiola whom Ibos rejected in favour of Tofa and Abacha. So shut your stupid trash.

I repeat it's very stupid to drag people's land with them. If they don't want you, then bring your ass back home. It's not by force. It's only when they also come into your region to attack you that you should scream blue murder. Yeye dey smell.

Simply call the eastern people living in the North to return home and continue their business and life in the eastern region and then wait for the perfect time to strike with the help of the Midwest and the Western but no, Ojukwu embarked on a war he knew he couldn't win and not only that, he invaded and attacked neutral regions such as the Midwest and the Western who weren't even part of his war. Rather than act diplomatic with the Midwest and western folks, just like the Israelites did with the the Edomites on their way to attack the Amorites, Ojukwu attacked them.

Ojukwu was just too senseless.
This advice that you are giving is the dumbest i have ever heard. it makes no sense. huh huh Awolowo thats was sensible how did he end? the same awo that this buhari that you are worshiping seized his passport even when his health was failing him? Abiola that was sensible was he not disgraced? and the video of him having Intercourse with his wife in prison shown to soldiers of Northern extraction and made mockery of? before you talk use your senses and brain. are the Yorubas better off in this contraption? so in essence Awolowo and Abiola were very senseless because if these people you call your allies can denigrate and treat you people like second class citizens then you still worship them , it means that its either your ethnic group are senseless or you have leaders who are very senseless or both.

Simple!

If Ojukwu had found reason to press on with a war due to Biafra's perceived non implementation of the Aburi accord by the federal government of Nigeria, then proceed knowing the consequences and be ready to surrender when it is obvious as it was already obvious from the beginning, that it was a war that can never be won by Biafra.

Rather, Ojukwu pressed on, hoping to win a propaganda war instead. Thinking, if the world see that we are suffering while fighting a war with Nigeria, the world will fight Nigeria on our behalf.

Is it not stupid that a negotiated surrender was passed up for an eventual unconditional surrender?

What then was the loss of lives for?

Instead you look for someone else from another tribe you know is peaceful, and begin to vent all the frustrations of your war time losses on him as though he gave you a false hope of help to win the war, or he commanded an army that could have come to your rescue, or drag his own tribe into a war because of you.

Even the help that Awolowo rendered with his position in the cabinet of Gowon to ensure that you feel accepted back into the country, what did he get from the Igbos in return if not their scorn and hatred?

If he had not cared like the rest of the war time cabinet of Gowon, who actually wanted the Igbos to suffer some more even after the war, then your hate would have been justified.

Rather, like cowards you aggressively hate the one you know you have no reason to fear, while whispering beneath your breath in the presence of those who have instilled fear in you.
First of all,Ojukwu had no choice what so ever than to declare an Independent Nation for him self and his people because there was no assurances that the Igbos would be safe in a country filled with people who are all out for blood. even a BBC documentary which i watched years ago stated that the Northerners went into the war with a mindset of pent up anger against the Igbo people as a result of job losses in the North based on influx of igbos in their civil service there by denying them the opportunity even though most of them were not qualified. Their leaders were killed by those who did not have the support of their ethnic group as most of your people especially would want us to believe. Ironsi messed up and things went out of control and innocent people were killed in the North most especially. The Aburi accord was the only way that the war would have been averted but Gowon in his wisdom choose to renegade on the agreement and you still blame Ojukwu? thats a very biased assessment. people were dying daily. and i hope you know that Igbos were killed in Lagos? that aside. you lot always blame Igbos for everything. and forgetting that even if Ojukwu had surrendered as you had advised what would have been different from what the Igbos are passing through in the hands of Nigeria that they are not currently experiencing? even Awolowo who was the friend of the North how did it end? War was inevitable. it would have been fought whether we liked it or not. Ojukwu did what he had to do but it did not go according to plan. yes people died. but was he the one killing them? was it not the same people who claim to be brothers that did the killing? and after the civil war how have we even gotten better as a so called Nation? we are not the same. and can never be.

People from his part of the world won't do anything about persecution, that's why they lost illorin and kogi. It's also very clear in the way tinubu is screwing them without any complain from all of them.
One thing i noticed about the Yorubas is that they feel we should behave like them and its not possible. every tribe has their view on the world and life. they come from a society which is structured to revere worship kings and princes but the Igbos are not wired that way. so because of that they think they are the most respectful. thats not true. Africans in general are wired to be respectful to their elders and seniors but we all have different ways of showing it. now a typical Igbo man that i know would always want to fight back when his means of lively hood is threatened. They might be brash and arrogant. but that has always been their nature and forcing them to change would be an exercise in futility. the SW feel that they are kings down south and the Igbos are giving them a run for their money and they are not really comfortable with that. Igbos are naturally competitive. its not their fault. its Nature.

Don't you ever get tired of being the tribe that has a score to settle with just about every other tribe in Nigeria?

In fact, you take decisions as a result of emotions that are traceable to decades in history, where you claim a tribe betrayed you, or hurt you or cheated you, or did not allow you rule them, or did not allow you dominate their civil service.

Only you must be served, only you is entitled to loyalty, and only you is right and just.

Only you term everyone else as cowards, yet history and recent shenanigans suggest that your cowardly streak is an inheritance passed on across generations.

What have you done for others? What selflessness have you rendered? What loyalty have you shown? What bravery have you exhibited?

Stop making noise and disturbing Nigerians when they are celebrating National heroes and patriots.
i dont do sentiments. neither have i ever called Yorubas cowards. but i will not seat by and my tribe is abused and insulted . Awolowo is your hero. so is Ojukwu mine. if you cannot respect that then thats your business and head ache not mine. if you respect mine i will respect yours. if you disrespect my leader and tribe then we can as well go to the gutters its like that. respect is reciprocal.

Go and cry at Ojukwu's grave.

About 1 million Biafrans died from the war, but it suits your propaganda to claims as many millions as you can think of died. The same way Biafra thrived on propaganda, thinking it will win them a war that had already been lost the moment an economic blockade was successful executed by the Nigerian government.

Mourn your dead if you will, just as those on the federal side mourned theirs.

Awolowo did not lead you into war, Ojukwu did. Awolowo did not owe the Igbos the massacre of his own people on account of the Igbos desire to leave a union they made indissoluble.

Whose fault is it that you lacked the wisdom to accept defeat the moment it was inflicted and negotiate a dignified surrender, only to wallow in pains for many months before capitulating to an unconditional surrender?

God bless Awolowo for his kindness to the Igbos during and most especially after the war. He ensured they had the resources to thrive again.
Ok let me ask you. honestly. in your own opinion, if you were Ojukwu. precisely tell me what you would have done better than what he did. assuming you are aware of the timeline from 1966 to the Aburi accord. your answer would determine if i reply you or not, i will tolerate your insults for now but kindly give me your honest opinion on what should have been done.

It is only just that Ojukwu died as an invalid for the crimes he committed against his own tribe. Not to talk of the crime he committed against his own best friend, by ensuring he became the father of his best friend's grand children. What a shameless coward that should have been burnt alive for such taboo.

Even more just that Azikiwe lived to see the indivisible Nigeria he clamoured for, and the consequences he had stipulated as the penalty for trying to secede, being meted out to his own tribe.
