I find it very hard to believe. Why bad news everyday? Very soon, I would stop reading newspapers. RIP |
naijacampu:and this is what many people from the SW and North plus some uninformed people of the SS do not know. these places are igbo territories. but because they are igbo land, they were carved into rivers state to people who claim that they are not igbos. I don't expect non igbos to believe the story because of tribalism, but I expect my igbo people to read about these things so that they would not be fooled about comments they make like igbos are doing attache by force. There is abundance of Oil in igbo land. Not that it has benefited us in any way but what is ours is ours. Please igbo people should read about injustices done to them. The hate is real. |

usmantoafiq:I hope you know that soldiers are not immortal and can die too? Its better to save the lives on either sides so that their kids won't become orphans. What is playing out is greed from those who have been ruling. |
Nigeria has a date with history. I love my country, but I can never be patriotic when the same country I love kills my people in the name of one Nigeria. The North would be blamed solely if Nigeria disintegrates. They know that a restructured Nigeria would empower states especially SE and SS to the extent of being autonomous and having extreme power that some might want to leave the union when the North behaves in the barbaric way it usually does like the woman beheaded in kano. But unfortunately, the only way to a greater and more prosperous Nigeria is through regionalism and fiscal federalism so that comments like the igbos would never be president or go back to your village. These are annoying words to say the least. When this is done, out governors would be held accountable. With the presenþ structure, only states like lagos would survive. The present state would only make governors to be mere road constructors. Nothing tangible would ever come out. Igbos lament because of lack of infrastructure by the FG in their land. And they ask, what is the point of being in a union where your kids are constantly told he would never be president by the North and SW peeps. to even make matters worse, the enabling environment isn't there. The FG knows what to do. And that is what they should have done more than 40 years ago through the three Rs. Nigeria is only working for the west and north. Something must be done to fix this injustice so that we do not cross the rubicon. Because there would be no going back. |
vedaxcool:u care for a Nigerian soldier who is human, but u want all igbos to die why be a hypocrite? |
schoolboij:dude.....I said surnames.....even rotimi amaechi has a yoruba name. But his surname indicates who his family or father is in Ubima his home town. An igbo man would definitely have an igbo surname...... So will an itsekiri man. And as far as am concerned I don't think I have seen any yet....maybe you should list them and educate me!! |

schoolboij:itsekiri speak their own language. i doubt if you have people from itsekiri who have surnames that are yoruba surnames. and their culture isn't the same. that analogy is very different. ikwerris share similar culture with the igbos such as mode of dressing food and tradition. there are edos that live very close to the border between ondo and edo state doesn't make them Yoruba just the relationship between these communities.moreover, the itsekiris are a mixture of igala, yoruba and bini according to what i read.it is a language closes related to these language that i mentioned. ikwerri is a sub group of the igbo language.i doubt if any yoruba would understand what these itsekiris speak while igbos understand ikwerris. the claim of not being igbo started during and after the civil war. Igbos know their people |

ikechu1:I was really getting tired of non igbos telling igbos who igbos are and are not. Its really annoying. And the funny part is that they don't even speak the language!! |
ikechu1:I think that this record must be kept straight. A non igbo shouldn't determine or tell who is igbo or not. That part annoys me....... |
dreamwords:it is a woman..... |

betterABIAstate:it won't understand. After years in PH, "it" can't speak a word of igbo or ikwerri. Does "it" even know that the ikwerri is an igbo word? Being a PH person doesn't mean jack. and to think that "it" comes from urohbo, with no links what so ever to even agbor is a professor of igbo studies....instead facing the problems at home were ijaws are reducing "its" peoples population with AK47, "it" is here telling an igbo man who an igbo man is. Ndi ala!! |
Millerz:you can abuse me all you want. I wasn't interested in checking your profile. Never knew it was a she........ ![]() |
Millerz:I stay @ GRA.....where are you? |
betterABIAstate:hahaha!! Is it a she? . |
dreamwords: |
betterABIAstate:lolz....I was referring to the millet guy oh! How can u not speak a word of ikwerri or igbo and come here to tell us who igbos are and are not? Does it make sense? So I being an anambra man who is igbo has lost his land to other igbos because they have grabbed my land.......does it make sense? |
Millerz:oga go and sleep.......you no get word for mouth.....you have little or no idea of where you live and the people who you live with.....you are just roaming in PH.....that's if you do not reside in warri..... |
betterABIAstate: . There goes our minister for culture and tourism.......and to think that he was even an authority on these matters......funny man!! |
betterABIAstate:well, they are entitled to that....but they are igbos....... |
dreamwords:I tire for some people........ |
Millerz:u don't speak the language, and you don't even understand igbo. Where do we place you exactly? Assum$ing you did, I might have taken you seriously.......how do you even differentiate the two when you don't know jack about the language? |
betterABIAstate:the truth is that the anambra man and the abia state man are the igbos who are more aggressive and hustle more than the others. The enugu man and the imo state man hustle too. But are more laid back. More into office and white collar jobs......not all igbos hustle |
Millerz:my fellow yorubas doesn't mean I am not igbo!! Please try comprehend. I grew up with yorubas and I am very much at home with them. I schooled there from primary to tertiary.....so I won't be wrong to say my fellow yorubas. Doesn't change the fact that I am igbo. I am very proud of where I come from. And am proud of all other igbos both those who claim not to be. Its best you talk about things that's within your knowledge. Being bred and brought up in PH doesn't make you a colossus in who and what an ikwerri man is and is not. You only say what you say because most of them claim not to be igbo. Mind you, there are many other in rivers who claim to be and I salute them........and if you are truly a pH boy, you should know them |
Millerz:where have I ever lied about being yoruba? I was born in lagos......I am from anambra state. Please how can an urhobo man who is actually from delta state, who doesn't speak a word of igbo, and am sure who don't speak ikwerri dialect either tell me who is igbo and who is not? Is like living in lagos and telling us who the yorubas are!! Dude, you do not have a say in this matter. If its about warri, I won't argue with you.......face ur clan |
