fallout87: What a stupid thing to ask.
Since when can a VP dictate governance over his president? A Vice President with good intents, vision, mission and love for his country like PYO works hand in hand with the President to run the affairs of a country. He brings to the team what eludes the President or what ought to be done. |

Ojiofor: Does a vice president have the executive power to restructure our country? Can Osinbajo restructure Nigeria? Neither the President nor his vice have the power to restructure Nigeria. But a visionary Vice President can bring inputs, suggestions, sponsor bills and even go to the extern of encouraging the President to restructure the country. This, Atiku (who is clamouring for restructuring )has failed to do during his years in office. On the part of Osinbajo, he's not a vanguard of restructuring because he believes it is not what we need now. he's an activist of good governance and prudent management of resources. He has been working assiduously with PMB to make Nigeria again and that's why he's undoubtedly the most intelligent, loyal and active Vice President in the history of Nigeria |

clarkdave4real: The government revealed this in a statement on Sunday by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transportation, Dr Taiwo Salaam.
The announcement comes three days after the bridge was temporarily closed for Investigative Maintenance Test. The state government explained that the decision to reopen the bridge earlier than announced followed the completion of the test by engineers. It thanked motorists and residents for their cooperation and patience while the closure lasted. The state government, in partnership with the Federal Government, had temporarily shut the bridge for the Investigative Maintenance Test with the closure initially scheduled to last from midnight of Thursday last week to midnight of Sunday. The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, and officials of relevant government agencies in the state were on the ground on Thursday to supervise the closure of the bridge.
Following the closure, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) deployed 650 personnel to all alternative routes to the Third Mainland Bridge, to ensure the free flow of traffic on the roads. LASTMA’s General Manager, Mr Olawale Musa, had said that the agency was aware of the volume of traffic on the Third Mainland Bridge and the consequences of diverting such huge traffic on the alternative routes during the period. He had asked the officers on duty to show compassion to motorists, especially those that were unfamiliar with the alternative routes and other roads in the metropolis. Mr Musa also urged motorists and commuters to be patient and cooperative with the traffic officers, to ensure a free flow of traffic on all alternative routes during the closure.

A good leader is the one that chooses good allies. He has the foresight to delegate responsibilities and not fusion power to himself alone. PMB has really done well interns of dimensional separation of power and also changing the norm of relationship between the President and his Vice in Nigeria's history. If we have had such type of governance in recent years, the polity would have been better. The results might not be the best but this is how governance ought to be. God bless Nigeria. |

It's more than party , it's actually individual and your BUHARI is not the right person for Nigeria at this point people fed on stolen fund. corruption became a norm that was why everyone got free money. Now that APC govt says u must eat as u earn, people are complaining because of the bad status quo PDP laid. Not just PDP, every political party has a good road mad to lead d country to a dream land but having the zeal to implement is is what has been lacking. PDP never had good intents for Nigeria. 'Never in our history has ANY govt official siphoned 26 BILLION USD through bogus oil contracts in less than one year until today.
In 1977 $2.8 billion went missing under Buhari. In 1997 $500 million went missing under him. Today $26 billion has gone missing under him.
So over the last 40 years approx. $30 BILLION USD has gone missing under Buhari's watch. He "hits it" every 20 years and that year always ends with 7.
The man stinks'

AntiIPOB: When are we to expect admission in ibbu bro?
And I want to know,do ibbu do physical screening using online print out or the one given by the school. On 12 of this month, the IBBUL senate will be holding a meeting in respect to admissions, resumption date and many other things that will trigger the quick start to this session. Afterwards, we should be expecting admission list to be out. Also, the school does not entertain the culture of post UTME like other universities. All IBBUl does is to set a date for the screening for the successful students that got the admission. I.e clarification of results and a mere introduction at the security division to have a clearer mirror of the individual they are about to harbour in the environment. |

Dkfpaul: Please my fellow brothers and sisters,i really need your advice on these questions: 1.is it compulsory to do economics in my JAMB and is it mandatory to have it in my o'level to study political science? 2.is it compulsory to fill in all the subjects i did in my JAMB to my o'level subjects? 3.do political science students used to receive maths lecture?if yes, from which level to which level?? 4.is this combinations good enough for political science course utme:Eng-Govt.-Literature-Crs O'level:maths-English-govt.-Crs-Literature
Thanks for you quotes/replies in advance. Having economics is not compulsory but very necessary. the compulsory one is either Government or History. If u have either of this, I think u will be considered. But I guess the deed has been done so u need to follow up . the 9ja thing as usual and u will get the admission without any hindrance political science students the do offer basic maths like SETS, GEOMETRY, QUADRATIC equation but just the mere introduction in first semester 100L. This mathematics is a general course for all new students with the exception of Language departments (as the case is in my school) as instructed by The NUC. Political Science students also do statistics in a semester in 300L which is a departmental course. ie mean, median, mode. Both the MTH101 and the statistics are very simple and could be handled by even a primary school pupil. I think your choice of subject are OK. Lastly, my advice to u is to broaden ur question for the knowledge of contemporary Political dispensation and try to improve ur cramming skills as Bisi advised I wish you the best bro |
