My B1/B2 interview is coming up soon. I'd like to know how long before the interview should I get my statement of account from the bank and for how many month the statement should cover. Thank you.

Hello everyone.
Thank you for all the efforts.
I got an invitation to a 3-day professional international conference starting late september. I intend to go to the US with my family (wife and a kid) so we could all go on tour in the city after the conference. Interview date is late August even though I wish it could be earlier (just hope its not a negative sha). I have a job I am comfortable with and my wife recently got a >100k job. We are all carrying a virgin passport made less than a month ago. We dont intend to stay more than 10days, and no intention of overstay.
What are our chances and how do we improve it.
