Do you anyone here know any online community centered around system administration, networking, or even cybersecurity in Nigeria? I'm interested in joining one but I am not sure if such exist.

Thanks for your suggestions.

I think this is a great idea! I've spent the last 2hrs combing through this forum looking for info on technical support, networking and system admin. Having a sub-forum that focuses more on other tech niches will help people with the same area of interest connect.

P.S: I sent you a mail, please can you kindly respond🙏🏾

I’d be interested in your take, even if you have to “encrypt” it using obscure language.

Creating this topic wasn’t really about whether anyone cared about Programming or programmers. It is more about having more focused tech communities where Nigeria based Nigerians (and anyone really) can contribute to growing those niches. Currently, any one posting about tech (IT and others) only have “Programming” sub forum to do so. So it can get chaotic trying to comb through the forum looking for niche tech information. Most people that want to foray into texh end up thinking that they would have to be programmers when there are roles in tech support, system admin, networking, and devops

Why not seek for an Estonian freelance visa instead? Spain also has something similar. You could also get more companies to work with in both countries since English is not their first language. You would hardly get any information though. Nigerians hardly apply for work permits or permanent residency. Most people use tourist visas to japa.

Thanks a lot for your input. I've heard about Estonia e-residency but I think they just rolled out this freelance visa. Will try and get info on it.

Addition: If there's any thread that can provide any information about travelling to Lesotho as a permanent resident, please send it my way. Also, would be open to speak to any Nigerian living in Lesotho as a permanent resident.

Thanks smiley

Travel / How Can I Move To Lesotho From Nigeria Legally? by meetfemi: 6:52pm On Oct 04, 2020
Good evening,

Please, I would really love to get more information about how I can move to Lesotho from Nigeria as a permanent resident legally. I am a freelancer content writer who has a decent source of income. Most of my clients are tech companies in the States or in the UK. Will I've to get a day job to being allowed stay in Lesotho or can I apply for a resident permit directly from Nigeria?

I've tried entering multiple search string into the Nairaland search box and it seem like there's no thread on it.

I would really appreciate any if anyone can render any assitance smiley
