They just need to know if you sit for the Jamb exam and you were given admission through Jamb!

because, Jamb controls admission into Tertiary institutions in Nigeria!

What of those that sat for JAMB and was given admission through JAMB but the status on JAMB portal is showing another school rather than the one the person got admitted into?

Call up letter, green card, ID card, statement of result/certificate, passport photographs. CERTIFICATES/LICENSES: For Doctors, Pharmacists, Nurses & Lab Scientists, take along your proof of certification. Graduates of Medicine and Pharmacy are expected to have their Certificates of Registration with Nigerian Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (NMDCN) and Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) respectively. The original and photocopies of the following documents are required for registration and mobilization of foreign-trained graduates into the National Youth Service Corps; viz:
First University Degree or HND Certificate
Complete official Transcript of the Degree or HND programme
Marks Sheets (for Indian Schools only)
O’level Certificate i.e WASC, GCE, SSCE, NECO, IGCE, GCSE, High School Diploma for those who schooled in USA e.t.c. Candidate must obtain credit in not less than 5 subjects (including English and Mathematics) in any of the examinations at not more than 2 sittings. (Statements of Result or Attestation Letters are not acceptable in lieu of any certificate).
Medical Doctors and Optometrists are required to produce in addition, Registration Certificate, Original and Photocopy of completion of Housemanship of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria/Optometrists Association of Nigeria, as applicable.
Pharmacists shall produce in addition, original and photocopy of completion of Internship and the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria registration certificate.
Nigerian International Passport showing clearly;
Entry Visa to Country of Study
First Departure Date from Nigeria
Date of Return to Nigeria
Candidates with dual nationality are required to produce both passports for verification.
Three (3) Passport Size Photographs.
Loss Of Travelling Passport
Prospective Corps Member who lost his/her passport would be required to present;
Police and Immigration reports from the country where the Passport got missing
Sworn Affidavit
The above documents should contain the same information as contained in the lost passport.
For Loss Of Academic Credentials, the following is required;
Police Report
Sworn Affidavit
Confirmation letter from either the examination body (for loss of ‘O’ Level Certificate) or the academic institution of graduation (for loss of Degree, HND Certificate).
Certificates not written in English Language should be translated at the Embassy of the country of the study or a University in Nigeria where the language is studied, before presentation to the NYSC.

Then you have No problem because the SECOND CHOICE SCHOOL THAT IS SHOWING ON YOUR ADMISSION STATUS WAS THE FIRST TO SEND YOUR DETAILS TO JAMB AS HAVING OFFERED YOU ADMISSION, HENCE JAMB DOESN'T CHANGE IT WHEN THE FIRST CHOICE LATER SEND AND VICE VERSA

I AM MAKING THE ABOVE CLAIM BECAUSE DURING B15, SOME OF MY SCHOOL FRIENDS AND COLLEAGUES HAD SAME EXPERIENCE SUCH THAT THE ADMISSION STATUS OF NCE WAS SHOWING INSTEAD OF A UNIVERSITY, BUT THEY MOSTLY ADMITTED THAT THEY HAVE GONE TO REGISTER AND PAY FOR THE COE ADMISSION BEFORE THE UNIVERSITY ADMISSION CAME OUT.

SO ON DIRECTING THEM TO JAMB OFFICE IN LAFIA BECAUSE OF THE KIND OF ALARM RAISED ON NL B15 THREAD, THE EVENTUAL TENSION CREATED WAS THEN DEUCED BY THE OFFICIALS WHO SAID THERE IS NO CAUSE FOR ALARM AND IT DOESN'T MATTER

Did you graduated as an HND holder to have qualified for PCM?

If yes, then no problem as far as your case is concerned and your graduated school must have been in possession of the jamb number one way or the other

going by the date of your jamb, you will only qualify for mobilization if and only you if your age as at the time of approval of your result by your school Senate is not ABOVE 30 YEARS ELSE EXEMPTION LETTER SHALL BE PREPARED FOR YOU AFTER REGISTRATION ONLINE.

if however, you graduated through DIRECT ENTRY IN A UNIVERSITY, THEN YOU NEED TO DO REGULARIZATION BY GETTING YOUR SCHOOL INFORMED AFTER WHICH A NEW JAMB NUMBER SHALL BE GIVEN TO YOU ON PAYMENT OF A TOKEN FEE FOLLOWED BY YOUR BIOMETRIC DATA CAPTURING WHICH IS SPECIFICALLY ABOUT SUPPLYING YOUR FINGER PRINT AND PHOTOGRAPH ON JAMB SITE

There is a problem... But REGULARISATION is the solution... If you have a laptop and a data... Login and check the top right corner of the website, you'll see regularisation... Click on it and follow the procedures... Remember to validate it, when you're done with everything.

If you don't have a laptop, you can as well go to the nearest jamb office in your locals.. And tender this same query and they'll charge you a token to fix it.

And by the way I was told in my school that JAMB will fix it up themselves. How true is dat?

I did MPCE in 2009 to gain admission for my ND program then, but checking on JAMB website to be sure of my JAMB number, My school (that I chose as first choice and also got admitted to) did not appear instead it is the skul I chose as second choice dat is appearing. Hope there is no problem with this?

Just Normal information is requlred, though detailed beyond may be the ones you are used during school days with thumb printing, genotype, phenotype photograph to be taken while registering and any previously valid ID card. I had mine since last year but still waiting for it. Although I indended doing it again because the set I had mine with have gotten theirs but mine was nowhere to be found and the demand for it is intimidating when I go around
