Honestly, I've been tempted once or twice to chime in and address the madness, but the concept of being a neutral who doesn't care about the Messi vs Ronaldo w@nkfest is completely foreign to these trolls. Nah. You must be a fan of one of the other.

Absolute kindergarten behavior.
Finally, someone gets it, I care less about anyone of them, but because I replied a Messi fan, suddenly I'm a Ronaldo fan. Tf😂

Sorry you hear? Your Ronaldo can try again in 2090. 🤣🤣🤣
I care less about any of them, I'm not even a football enthusiast to begin with, but since match start you just dey fight imaginary haters. Lol

It's funny seeing Ronaldo's fans suddenly turn to Egyptians because of their delusional hatred for Messi 🤣🤣
Why don't you focus on your Messi?
You've been crying about Ronaldo fans since the match started.
Most Africans/Nigerians supported African countries at this world cup (well except south Africa), so I don't know what you wailing about.

Indeed but I'm not giving up on our silent steady resurgence under Chelle.

Anyway, from checks, Brazil dropped zero pts for losing this game. They remain #5 in the world in the live FIFA world rankings.

Morocco stay on #6 for now.

But Norway gained 33.6 pts and move up to World #19 for now in the Live rankings.

Haaland and The Norwegian Vikings keep making waves🌊🌊🌊
Do Egypt still overtake us, despite not winning in regulation time?

And it even baffles me that it's most Nigerians and journalist, pushing this narrative

Madam, 4 years ago we got a hiding from Portugal (World Cup Bound) The wailing here was laughable. Players wey suppose dey rest u expect them to break their bones against Portugal and Poland. Let's play a high ranked team in the right situation and condition, we will hold our own.
"Players wey suppose dey rest u expect them to break their bones against Portugal and Poland"
I hope you never complain when nff don't fix any friendlies again, since players suppose rest.

No naaa..dem go give Una Cup for winning. What is the motivation for the players after a long season?
Until you play a high ranked team and then beat una like thief, then you'll appreciate these friendlies, until then
Abi you think say na to win Algeria 2-0, just dey play 😂

Goke7:
Meaningless friendly indeed, make I hear Una blame nff again when we fail again in the future.
Like, I don't understand some persons trying to downplay the whole situation...
Last time we played a top 20 ranked team, Morocco (12), we couldn't win them in 120 minutes, this is the best time to see how your team competes against a top 5 team in the world, Portugal is currently no 5 in the world.
Last time Portugal played us (2022) they won 4-0, alot has changed since then, new coach and we've improved as a team too.
Seems like most people don't realize that the only time a coach can truly evaluate the true strength of his team are in high profile friendlies like this, abi is it in a competition or qualifiers a coach would know how strong his team is?
By then you go don go house na😂

I don't understand, what is all the wailing for? Meaningless friendly that only helps our ranking? Osimhen wants to sort his club situation according to Chelle and Lookman's club requested he be excused. Make Una clam down.
Trying to gaslight people to think there feelings are invalid, when their two best players will not be available for a friendly (not just any a very highly profile one) is crazy...
You say na meaningless friendlies?... Okay na😂

just went on CAS website to know if they list hearings of cases they want to prosecute.
Good news is they do. If you scroll down you will see the list of hearings published on the 10th of this month for all the cases they will prosecute this month.
Bad news is that there is no mention of our cases in that list for this month.
I dont know if even if we get a positive result next month we will be able to replace drc.
This is the site for anyone interested. https://www.tas-cas.org/
I read somewhere that there are expedited cases in CAS... Like cases that are urgent are given judgement in a short period of time
Since the play offs is in like 9 days, our case should be considered as an urgent case..
But my problem is how sure are we that nff actually appealed to CAS💀

Guy give it up on that Nigeria case o ti lo. FIFA knew what it was doing dragging on that case this long to deny it on technicalities. If they really wanted the eagles in the World Cup they would have ruled in our favour. I don’t see CAS upturning that decision and even that of Senegal. These are purely political decisions!

Football is purely business and politically inclined now! I also think there are so many countries in breach just like Congo and FIFA may not want to rock the boat too much likewise CAS! Imagine both decisions upturned, will that will not lead to another round of chaos? The deed is done bruv
Why did fifa bother making laws, when they know they won't abide by it anyways?
Very corrupt organisation

Fifa dey use technicality for dat kind big matter.
U see dat big eye fifa president and dat frog eye CAF president ehn.. Dem too corrupt.

Jamaica fit even win DRC Congo for Playoffs. Dem good
I'm not a fan of NFF... But I support let them pursue this case to any level... FIFA's excuse of breach in regulations while filing the petition does not hold water at all

Based on technicality (failure to file within the stipulated time period), not on the merit or lack of merit of the petition.

FIFA dey do like Nigerian judiciary. So disappointing.

So what was FIFA investigating all this while when the petition could have been dismissed the same week it was filed?

Never thought it'd go our way but the more I think about it, the more it seems like a political ruling motivated by a desire not to upset the apple cart.

NFF should just move on.
Looking at it it looks like a deliberate act by fifa
When the mokeona south Africa case initially came out... This 24 hours issue came out, but fifa still deducted the 3 pints when it was not petitioned after 24 hours...
With the excuse of fifa our petition was supposed to be rejected two weeks at least after it was fined, why wait till two weeks to the playoffs??
Something is definitely not right..

I hear that from Dr Larry izemola brila fm CEO on the bff verdict against Dr Congo ineligible player he said that Dr Congo just need to tell FIFA that they grant those player with Dual citizenship an exception case close .

But it 50-50 I pray the nff win the case next month imagine the super eagles playing in Boston, New Jersey in USA Nigeria fans are much there
Both you and that brila fm CEO clearly don't understand what a constitution is sadly 🙂

What the hell do you mean by exception? Lol
A constitution of a country can only be replaced or amended...
There is no such thing as EXCEPTION to a constitution that has been already made a law in a country any where in the world, unless this your said EXCEPTION is still clearly stated in that same constitution.
Shalom.

The NFF may have a case here. If DR Congo told FIFA that those 9 players fulfilled domestic nationality/passport laws when they in fact did not, then that istself constitutes fraudulent communication/misrepresentation. In other words, DR Congo lied to FIFA.

I have already accepted that SE won't got to the WC but there could be a chance here.
