pls my battery still doesn't cut it after factory reset. am currently on MIUI 9 9.0.3.0 stable. average temp is still around 36°c.

is this normal?

I'm already regretting this update.

good morning house. I noticed that since I upgraded to MIUI 9.0.3.0 stable, my battery suddenly became awful.

I charged to 100%, switched on plane mode before going to bed. when I woke up this morning, my battery was down to 68%.

I think battery temperature also increase to 36°c on average usage. once in a while I get a CPU notification msg which says CPU usage is very high.

please has anyone experienced something like this? I would appreciate solutions/suggestions on how to fix this.

Initially, I thought I was done with the application when that Chinese write up displayed/popped up so I decided to scrutinize your posts and I did the needful.

Bro pls Can you guide me on how you successfully unlocked your bootloader. I keep seeing Chinese pop up after using the code they sent to me

I'm a heavy user o, I mean if I'm not playing games, I'm watching movies or browsing. But I have not checked my SOT , I only check the battery percentage used per hour whilst using the phone. For movies about 23 hours, for demanding games like NBA 2k17 it lasts about 10 hours, but for less demanding games it will last longer, and when browsing on 3G it uses 4% an hour. Another thing is that the battery strength seems to be consistent at every stage unlike my former phone which appears to last longer from 100-50% than from 50-0%. But I can assure you that you will not complain about battery on this device plus the device doesn't heat up at all

Mi max 2 would have been the perfect device for me if it had like 5.7 - 6” display. 6.4" is kinda too big. I get the feeling it would be difficult to fit into a pocket...one thing I envy so much about the phone though it's battery life

I am finally a member of xiaomites. I picked up my device (black redmi note 4, 3/32gb) this afternoon @woji po in port harcourt. I'm so excited guys...everyone that laid their eyes on the phone was like ...Wooow!

Redmi note 4 doesn't support Glo 4G band 28 but you can use MTN, Etisalat 4G on it.

It would have been the perfect device for me if it Supported glo 4G...guess I'll have to make do with glo HSPA+
