You see those immigration people,they will never make heaven...as long as you didn't pay the extra cash they add to the official price of the passport...they will delay you as much as they want....I remember going they...I saw on carton beside the woman checking documents, she ask who is doing it passport runs for me,I no answer..she said if nobody is doing the runs please let her throw my application inside the carton till 3months time..I now told her the officer doing it...she now said " why I no come since na"..

The extra charge is compulsory whether you like it or not, I spent nothing less than 170k for the cost of 100k. Minus transportation, psychological trauma, and stress. The immigration officers including all the other Nigerian security officers are extremely corrupt

COMRADES, when you visit the passport issuance department of the Nigerian Immigration Service and see prospective travellers you must definitely pity them

On 01/12/2025, I approached the Nigerian Immigration Service, applied and paid in full for the passport, (NIN, other documents, intact), since then, it was one flimsy excuse to another until March 10th before I collected my passport!

The first application photo was mine. After a lengthy delay, then they used someone else's photo on my document, when I discovered it online, I went back to them and rejected it and all their explanations, my concern was that; what of if the photo they attached to my document is a wanted person? Probably, wanted by the CIA, NDLEA, EFCC, the police etc.
