Divine Ikubor, Mavin Record’s teenage singer, says he really wants to be in a relationship but hasn’t met the right person.

The 19-year-old trap musician was speaking to City People Magazine about how he has been coping with all the frenzy of activities typical of artistes who make it to limelight at tender age.

Admitting that camera flashlights, meetings, and studio sessions could be confusing, the singer explained that he only has his mother and sister as trustworthy persons with whom he shares secrets.
“I really want to be in a relationship but still looking for the right one. I want to enjoy the peace because it’s really noisy: cameras flashing lights, meetings, studio sections,” he said.

“This whole music stuff is beyond ordinary for me that’s why things are happening differently for me and I am very spiritual from my angle and I don’t do my things the same way as everybody.
“Home is actually my peace. I find peace either in church or home. My own personal space, but yeah! It will be nice to find someone I can share it with, but then, I have not found the right one.”

Speaking on his early days in the industry and how past experiences prompted him to take up music at 11, Rema said he worked sleepless nights that God had no opinion but to bless him.

He said he started considering music as far back as when he was seven but only decided to take it for a profession four years after his politician-cum-publisher father had died.

“I worked really hard for it, having sleepless nights, prayed, gave my seeds, tithes and left the rest for the lord which gave him no other option to bless me,” Rema explained.

“It is actually spiritual how I found myself in the midst of Don Jazzy and everybody in a blink of an eye, everything worked very fast for me. Everything that came to me, I deserve it.

“I’m not the kind of guy to post on Instagram. The only thing people see about me is my music and my studio sessions but a lot is happening behind the screen, a lot of tears, sweat and blood.

“People tend to believe that we over hype, but it’s not over hyping because it’s really happening while some people where sleeping, I was on the road every single night.”

Legendary Nigerian music producer, DonJazzy, on Wednesday revealed that he had slept with an adult movie star before.

He revealed this during a question and answer session with his fans on the Instagram page where the fan threw the question to him.

trio of suspected robbers, made up of one woman and three men, were allegedly caught robbing along Benin-Auchi road and they were beaten and disgraced.



The gang of robbers, also known as "one chance", operate a taxi which they use in robbing unsuspecting passengers. They were caught after they robbed a woman and tried throwing her out of their taxi.



A victim of the gang, Mrs Mariam Ufua, narrated her ordeal in the hands of the robbers. She said she was disposed of a sum of 30,000 Naira after she boarded a Taxi operated by the gang.
She said she boarded the taxi to New Benin, unaware that the passengers were members of a gang.



In the course of the journey, she said they asked her to wind down the window. She obliged, not knowing it was a ploy. When she tried, the glass wouldn't budge. As she turned to tell them the glass wasn't working, she noticed they had dragged her bag. She began dragging with them. When she finally got hold of her bag, she noticed the zip was torn and her 30,000 Naira was gone.



After they were done stealing from her, they tried pushing her out of the moving car but she struggled and screamed for help. She sustained injuries on her leg during the tussle.



A taxi driver who heard her screaming came to her rescue.



The taxi driver said he chased the suspects after he heard Mrs Ufua's screams. In an attempt to escape, the suspects lost control of their vehicle and crashed into a gutter.



They were then apprehended and the female member of the gang was stripped.

Security operatives intervened before the gang members could be lynched.

Nigerians who reacted to Governor Seyi Makinde disclosure of testing positive for coronavirus, have asked Davido who was spotted with him days ago to run the test he turned out negative for again.



Recall that before Governor Makinde announced his test result, Davido disclosed that he and his son tested negative for the coronavirus. His fiance, Chioma however tested positive for the virus.



Following Davido's close contact with the Oyo State Governor 5 days ago, Nigerians are now calling on the music star to undergo the test again.

Femi Falana, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria has asked the federal government to seek help on how to combat the coronavirus outbreak in the country from the Cuban government .



According to reports, since the outbreak of the virus, 59 countries are reportedly receiving medical assistance from Cuba.



In a letter addressed to Minister of Health Osagie Ehanire, Falana stated that Cuban medical professionals set a record in Africa when they helped fight ebola virus disease (EVD) in 2017.



He also disclosed that a Cuban drug known as ‘Recombinant Human Interferon Alpha 2B’ developed has so far proved to be the most effective weapon against COVID-19.



Falana wrote;



“We have confirmed that the Cuban drug known as ‘Recombinant Human Interferon Alpha 2B’ developed by Cuba has so far proved to be the most effective weapon against COVID-19. Apart from the Chinese Government which has chosen ‘Interfron Alpha 2B’ as one of the drugs for combating COVID-19 the Italian Government has adopted it and secured the services of Cuban doctors along with Chinese experts in combating the dreaded disease.

“The right wing Brazilian Government which had expelled Cuban doctors two years ago on ideological grounds has been compelled to request for the assistance of Cuban medical team amidst coronavirus pandemic. Similarly, other Latin American, Caribbean and European countries are reported to have requested the Cuban drug and also help from Cuban medical professionals to fight the COVID-19 scourge.

“In view of the foregoing, we call on you to use your good offices to confirm the efficacy of the Interfron Alpha 2B’ and recommend the same for the treatment of COVID-19. Having regards to the selfless role of the Cuban medical professionals in eradicating the Ebola virus in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone in 2017 we call without any further delay. The health of humanity should not be sacrificed on the alter of ideological disputation.”

Cristiano Ronaldo and his agent Jorge Mendes, have donated €1m (about 900,000 pounds) to hospitals in Portugal to help in the European country's fight against Coronavirus.


Ronaldo and his super agent Mendes, both Portuguese, donated the money to Intensive Care Units at Lisbon’s Santa Maria Hospital in Lisbon, and the Santo Antonio hospital in Porto, Portugal, days after donating 1,000 masks and 200,000 protective gowns to hospitals fighting the pandemic.

"We were contacted by Jorge Mendes, who volunteered with Cristiano Ronaldo to fund two intensive care units for critically ill patients with Covid-19," Santa Maria President Daniel Ferro said late Tuesday.

"There are fans, monitors, infusion pumps, beds, all the equipment that makes up an intensive care unit equipped to provide assistance to a patient infected with Covid-19." He ended.

"This unit will allow the opening of 15 intensive care beds, fully equipped with fans, monitors and other equipment," President of the board of Centro Hospitalar Universitario do Porto, Paulo Barbosa also announced late Tuesday.
"The Centro Hospitalar Universitario do Porto thanks Cristiano Ronaldo and Jorge Mendes for this very useful initiative, at a time when the country needs everyone so much."

In our previous study, we learnt that the Christian isn’t a natural man. The natural man is subject to defeat, failure, poverty, and the uncertainties of life; he’s governed by the rudiments of this present evil world, and without hope in life. Ephesians 2:12Open in Logos Bible Software (if available) describes his life as an utter tragedy, because he lives in this world without hope and without God; a terrible state to be in.
If the foregoing describes you or someone you know, that can change even now. Yes, you may have lived as a natural man, subject to the depravities and corrupting influences of this natural world, but you can start a new life today, by being born again. Jesus said except a man is born again, he can’t escape the destruction and perils in this world.

Why should anyone remain a natural man, and be buffeted by the storms and harsh gusts of life? Only the one who’s born again is separated from darkness, evil, and from perishing. You live in the victory of Christ every day, such that at the end of life on earth, you’ll stand before Him in glory. But that can’t happen if you’re not born again; if you remain a natural man.

The natural man can’t receive the things of the Spirit of God. But when you receive Christ into your heart, and get to know the Holy Spirit, He’ll unveil the heart of the Father to you.
