Spy360: It would be determined whether the minister is performing his duty in court, but not on the field It's the Minister right to destroy any illegal structure and inspect any land that is suspected to have no approval or appropriate documentation. |

TemporaryHansel: In the US that you quoted, you think a former navy chief can deploy soldiers for such useless purposes? Even current navy chief can't pull such stunt in the US.
Military this military that, the same clowns that can't deal with the bandits ravaging the north? Those guys are supposed to be fighting terrorists not protecting land. A retired military personnel is illegally occupying a land and instead of providing documents to show ownership decided to send military men to beat up and stop anyone that comes near the land and some clowns here are cheering on the blantant disregard of law.. |

izzou: I have said so before.
And I said it is the lawlessness that all of them, including Wike promoted and supported, that is catching up with them.
And if he wasn't hot headed, he didn't have to go there with Channels TV, hoping he would score some dictatorship points from it. Sadly, he met someone who doesn't understand the word "disobedience"

Theflint1: Nigerian's have still not understood that military officials are subject to civil law within civil spaces, and cannot be seen to be obstructing government officials from performing jobs within their jurisdiction.
If it was a normal civilian, and not a military person with guns to fight Wike and his goons, what would you recommend they do in this situation?
Would you tell them to grandstand, and be telling government officials performing their duties to go and write through official channels before they'd obey a "STOP WORK" order?
I mean Wike and his goons are the official channel in question , and if the military guys have issues with their interpretation of the law, it's to escalate or take to another official channel that would give them listening ear...not to grandstand.
Before WIke came there in-person, whatever communication they give to every other person they gave those guys, it was becuase they refused to listen that WIke came in-person, and they too anticipated it by placing military boys "on order" because they had no intention of acknowledging what was already communicated to them. All these ones you are typing will fly over his head. Talking about appropriate channel like wike will leave the comfort of his office if they had proper documentation and approval. |

OkpaNsukkaisBae: Na wetin the young naval officer guy dey talk be this,, "that everything was acquired legally, that he has integrity". Nothing was acquired legally. According to the Sharia report someone posted they had no approval to even build any structure on that land and the ownership has already been revoked. |

Nigeria is still very much a zoo o, and anything can happen if you create the situation that allows you be victim. Nothing would have touched Wike. |

Why is the military erecting structures on a land they have not been given any approval on? Since 2014 so you can't blame wike on that.

Bluelines69: Wike go collect apology, them go free the land and maybe move the officer out of Abuja e no fit pass like this i doubt them go fire anybody, the officers only followed an order, replace them with another set tomorrow and same thing would happen No one ordered him to disrespect and talk back but you are right. They will try to beg wike to forgive and forget. If wike wants to be petty then they will know he's not just a bloody civilian. |

If Wike wants that officer punished and can offer something juicy enough for the CNS, Sorry that officer gets thrown under the bus instantly I really don't understand how something so simple keeps on flying over their heads. That guy in the video rank is comparable to lieutenant. He will be thrown under Keke from just a simple request from Wike. |

For Wike to go to that site himself, that land has no papers . At the end of the day the C.O.D will meet with Wike alongside the former CNS and try to resolve the issue and beg Wike. If Wike refuses that land is gone and and the military can do nothing about it. Bloody civilian indeed. |

If the matter is a priority to Wike and he can push the buttons through Tinubu to the one of the newly appointed Service chiefs, that officer would be addressed instantly
The Service chiefs wey dem just appoint, No be someone recommend them. Or you think Service chiefs too do not need favors from civilian top govt officers With the current coup scare the military will hate any bad press. |

Wike's issue is the land, which is not their business. Their own is to stand on the orders given to them
