Hey guys, not trying to spoil the excitement, of those they called but something seem amiss, heard GTs have finished their Onboarding.Dunno why it took so long for HR to call them till ds week, if there was a gap in numbers of GTs for those that rejected the offer past the deadline.
By next week though, I believe will get more clearer view/picture for both them and us EH

Lol I am a living testimony!!! Got a call confirming my identity, then notification of application status email shortly after, 2 days ago. I don't care what happened, all that matters is it worked in my favor and I'm in! See how I was heartbroken on 14th February not any more

Guys, spoke about closure when I spoke the Mgt. staff last time...He said I should exercise patience as EH cadre will be concluded same as that of GT
The 'Qualifications/grades matters not years of experience working, this has always being reviewed, there's no going back on those requirements needed as per this recruitment and it'll get tougher and stringent for the next recruitment.
Worked with one of the 'SBU' as a backup staff, saw an internal memo sent to all 'SBU' and departments stopping the conversion of backup staff as the new policy of the corporation. I knew bk then I had to move on,

Hey guys, spoke to a Mgt staff concerning EH and conversion of backup staff. He said the issue of conversion of backup up staff is being considered but many of them do not have the necessary qualifications to be placed within SS1-SS6 roles as specified in certain requirements for meeting these roles in Nnpc's conditions of service and also it will be unfair for full staff whom have worked for a long time to get usurped in hierarchy.
The plan is to fix few of them on JS role with a caveat (Could be assessment or getting a better qualification within a time period)

Hey Guys, EH shouldn't give up the pressure of asking for closure and release of employment letters. The backup staff are into deep discussions with management and some of their demands maybe assented to.
I know backup staff who need this employment cos they've worked hard for the corporation for years buh it has to be on same level playing field and equal representation...
Have one voice in whatever platform we chose EH..

Guys, Nnpc is a meticulous coy, Mgt doesn't leave loose ends because of past events. If they've concluded the recruitment and decided to offer employment, the next event is training and CTP.
Core experienced production/HSE staff will be included in the line up for training of new staff be it in Abuja or elsewhere.
The information must definitely trickle down to professionals in the SBU's to present experienced production/HSE staff to support training for the new intakes.
Even if Nnpc takes staff on nepotism or by paying for the employment, it must train them..A wrong decision by a new intake can set not jux the SBU ablaze but the neighbouring communities and staff as well..
Nnpc ain't NIS...Keep cool, it ain't over until it is over

Hey Guys, saw this topic and decided to gv an info. Went to one of the refineries to meet up with a former boss. There were two things I wanted to ask; if there was already new staff intakes from the current recruitment and if there were no new intakes already, why is there so much delay in the recruitment.
My former boss told me from the best of his knowledge Towers hasn't sent in any new staff to the refinery and I could verify from L& (HR) if they've received any;
I remembered a staff who works at L& and went to check up on him..Exact words were 'Nobody don come oo, we dy even wonder when Ogas dem for abuja go bring new ppl'.
As for the delay my former boss said it is either Nnpc is avoiding a conflict by not releasing the list since or if there isn't and they've resolved the conflict expect it to drop any moment.
