You can also contact your bank and request they change your account to an offshore account, follow all procedures and documentation they will send you ATM which you can easily use here
I contacted my bank, they said my only option is to open a dom account and I have to come to the bank in person to do so, which is not possible.

Look for someone who needs Naira in exchange for AUD there. It is the easiest way to get your money changed.

You should look into buying Lyca mobile, Lebara or Dodo, they have wider and better coverage than Kogan
Alright. Thank you

Getting to exchange naira might be difficult as I've never come across any Nigerian since I moved here

The only black I have crossed paths with is Ghanaian. It's like Nigerians don't live in Canberra

Hello everyone, I just moved to Canberra in early March, I just successfully set up my NAB account this week but I have been having issues transferring my funds from my naira account to my NAB account. I just found out I was supposed to open a dollar account before I left (which I didn't).

ATM withdrawal looks like my only option, but the conversion rate will be higher and I'd be incurring more bank transfer cost.

Please, what other way can I go about accessing my funds?

Also, I ordered a SIM for Kogan (after I bought an ALDI SIM that didn't work in my android phone). Please, is Kogan a good choice?

Thanks.

Congratulations, check with konga or cheapoair. But I will advice you check with konga travels because they have their office around and their price is cheaper compare to wakanow and travelstart. You can send me a DM so that I can help.

Please what course are you going for and please what are the documents that you submitted?

Hello everyone, I got admission to do my Master's at the Australian National University, Canberra by February 24, orientation starts on the 17th.

I submitted my Visa application on the 6th of January and I'm still awaiting response.

I noticed that the processing time has changed to 19 to 44 days.

The wait was taking too long, and I stumbled on this post while googling. I'm new here

Please, is there any migration preparatory advice for me (I'm in Nigeria) while waiting? So as not be overwhelmed with it when it's time.

Thank you
