I am currently on POP, so will give you an idea on the likely cost estimation. I have 120 m² concluded already and a further 100 m² ongoing. I bought the materials quoted by the guys handling the project. For their workmanship, I paid 1k per m². The cost of materials would likely be significantly cheaper in Lagos than in Ebonyi state. For the materials and how much I paid for them, you'll find the info on page 809 onwards on this thread. I had previously posted them

If after thorough check of your compound level and road level and it is obvious that compound water can't flow out to the road and instead the flood from the outside can flow inward, then this advice is applicable.

Actually I did the sand filled up to that level and never thought it was an issue.. So you think I should have it lowered a little? Please advice.. Thanks..

A very good observation, and timely as well. In this case I submit my own 5 cent. I want to believe that if the compound level can be excavated a little to ensure that the DPC is relatively higher than the compound final finished level, then of course there won't be a way to throw the compound water out, this will require an underground water reservoir into which the compound water will flow, this reservoir will have a submersible controlled by floating switch (when there is rain, if there is no power then ensure your Gen is on) The floating switch will be set such that when the reservoir is half full the pump will automatically start pumping. ( This a method used by most manufacturing industries in treating their effluent and waste water before discharging to the environment, though there are some other process within the reservoir as well). This idea may be cost a little, but it is better than pulling down the house oo.
Concerning the dampness just use gravitex paint half way up, if you can afford it all the way fine, finished with epoxyl to make it shine and also prevent algae growth.

Yes I did German floor to both buildings and the wall wetness was due to a recent downpour which is the reason why I am seeking to get a screeding quotation.
Please advice. Thanks

Hello Sir, just some quick observation.
You need to pay good attention to the base of the Bungalow shown in your post l am quoting (Probably the BQ).
What l am seeing is capilary action and soaking of the bottom parts of your walls.
Did you do a german floor for that BQ?
I also notice that the foundation is very low, infact likely going to be lower than the compound flooring and any road that is constructed near you!
These are not good signs, especially seeing that your ground is water-logged and not very firm soil.
I beg you to iron out this problem before going any further (i can see that you have done well on the other foundation) as foundation problems are very difficult to correct and just waste money with the need to eventually collapse the building itself.

May God give you the cash and wisdom to go through.

I can furnish you with the estimates you need, but first of all I would need a copy of the architectural drawings (floor plan) .If you dont have it then I would need to visit the site to take measurements.
