GEJ epitomizes a patriotic Nigerian, he worked in the interest of the generality of Nigeria and not a particular region, he wasn't seen trying to favour one region over the other, apart from the senseless disturbance by Northern Boko Haram he was still seen trying to unite Nigeria both in words and action, that was why he enjoyed relative peace from the Niger Delta.
