Mama's in the house please anyone in Abuja that uses Garki Hospital for ante natal please due to the strike someone wants to change to this hospital. please how much is the delivery package VD and CS please answer as soon as possible and please if you know any other cheaper hospital. she will be due in two weeks time. thanks
The cost depends on the qualification of the Dr seeing you. 40k,60k and 100k to 150k for antenatal with medical officer, senior registrar and consultant respectively. Delivery 80k for VD with medical officer. I can't remember the cost for CS but it's between 200 and 250k.
I don't know of a cheaper hospital. Maybe missionary hospitals would be cheaper.

Hello mamas. I have a question please. The mama's that registered antenatal in hospitals where they are presently on strike, where did you give birth? Was your delivery taken where you registered or you had to go to another hospital?
Is it wise to register in 2 hospitals- government and private.just in case?

Is it true? that Dr's are joining JOHESU to make the union complete. That would be great! So that all health workers will speak with one voice.

Yes dat of salt is cheaper. Unfortunately I'd paid 8months for another platform b4 the salt program started. I still thank God for everything.
Please any useful tip, food or drug that can help reduce or even stop morning sickness (nausea and vomiting).
How did you manage yours?

What I mean by the signs already glaring is dat the home urine test I did is Positive. Yes I went tru ART and its part of their protocol. Yes I visited the clinic and what I was informed about luteal support is encouraging. The money also covers fetal reduction per adventure more than 3 embryos implants, so dey can reduce some or do what they call.....can't place the terminology again , but it has to do with expansion of the womb space to accommodate the implanted fetuse or fetuses.
The hospital usually implants many embryos, 6,7 or 8.
The doctor will tell u dat, embryos in more numbers usu assist each other to implant and the higher the number transferred, the higher the chances of implantation.
I had read something like that in the internet so I believed.
In my case 6 was transferred. And if u decide to go elsewhere for the luteal support and return for fetal reduction after the 6weeks scan, u will be paying 700k.
So am good with it, though I asked 4a discount and dey accepted
Sorry 4 d long post

Hello, did u go through the ART before this pregnancy?Have u had previous 1st trimester miscarriages?
If u r answer to both questions is no ,then I don't see why you want to have luteal support. Well except it was recommended by your dr.
The person I told to ask her Dr about luteal support had previous miscarriage that's why I mentioned it.
I think it can be done with any hospital that has a gynecologist preferably a fertility specialist. It's mostly hormones and folic acid they give plus ultrasound scans forthnightly.

Hello Merciful. Am new here though. I ve been on the IVF thread. Am about to start the pregnancy journey and I need answers
question is, what is the luteal support like?
The hospital (Diff) I used is charging N450k for it. And it's just for the first 3 months, then another N300k for cervical circlege.
Can this luteal support treatment be done in a normal hospital? What medications does it entail?
Pls help me with answers. I don't have N450k abeg

It's not free o. I don't know how much it is but window of grace was approx 1.13 million for every thing and you are entitled to three cycles if the 1st fails they will do another, if one looses the pregnancy before 12weeks, they will do another cycle till they've done up to 3 cycles for u. If u r in Abuja u can go to the hospital for more enquiries.

@ Comseg ,I did IUI with body check in 2014 but it failed, then they were not doing IVF. I heard they've expanded now. They probably just started doing IVF ,I'm not certain about success rates. Other mama's please help if u have info.
@Loffloff ,I used salt foundation \diff hospital promo. From what I've heard ,they have good success rates. I got bfp on window of grace in the 1st cycle.

good morning mamas... iv been a silent member of this thread for years..iv been having early miscarriages and pcos and now I just got my bfp... my LMP was 7th February... we will all carry to term by God's grace please put me in your prayers
Hello. Please ask you gynecologist about progesterone injection for luteal support. Duphaston alone may not be sufficient to support this phase. The injection is usually once in a week till 12th week when u can have the cervical cerclage.congrats dear.
